We have dedicated a secluded four-acre section (Area A) at our Campground exclusively for those seeking a rustic (primitive) tent camping experience.
Although campers are always welcomed to use any/all amenities located at our main campus (Area C); a few-minute walk down the road, services within Primitive Tent Camping- Area A are intentionally limited.
Area A has one centralized area with Porta-potties, trash cans, a shared area water spigot and 20-amp power pedestal along with designated parking areas for 1 vehicle per site. The rock-lined trails leading to the various Camp sites vary in length from 30’ to 300’. All camp sites have picnic tables, fire rings with grills.
We offer four types of primitive camping sites
• Five Solo/Duo. 1-2 people. Suitable for a small to medium sized tent. $19.75 per day. Sites #1, #2, #5, #11 & #12
• Five Group/Family. 3-5 people. Sized for 2 small or 1 large tents. $29.75 per day. Sites #6 thru #10
• Four Deluxe (Group sized). 3-5 people. 2 small or 1 large tents. $39.75 per day. Sites #3, #4, (recently added) #13, & #14
The four deluxe primitive campsites have their own (1 car/truck) parking adjacent to their group/family sized site along our private camp road, a picnic table and their own (shared between 2 deluxe sites) water spigot & 20-amp power pedestal. Still primitive but with a few amenities thrown in.
• NEW! Three Deluxe (Wood Platform on Main Campus – Area C). 3-5 people. 1 large tent. $49.75 per day – Sites #35, #36 & #37 Located on our main campus near our bathhouse, dog park, kids play area, camp store, activity center and camp store. Google Fiber Wifi available.
Note: Heaters and high-amperage electrical appliances are not allowed. The provided 20-amp service is sufficient for small apparatuses like radios and phone chargers only. Egg crate or yoga type sleeping pads and light-weight sleeping bags are available for a small additional person fee (based upon availability) up to noted occupancy limits. Well behaved Pets are allowed.
