LODGING: At Greeter Falls Campground, we offer 30 Lodging options: Cabins and Yurts (Furnished Tents). Each type is clustered in a different environment, having its own unique features and amenities:

  • Six 16’ x 16’ Furnished Cabins /Tiny Homes with 8’x16′ Porch – Located at Area F (#91-#96)
  • Ten 12’ x 10’ Rustic Cabins – Located at Area C (#50-#59)
  • Ten 16’ x 16’ Yurts – Square Military Squad Tents – Located at Area B (the Village #20-#29)
  • Four 11’ x 11’ Yurts – Square Military Command Tents – Located at Area C (#31-#34)

TENT SITES: We have two types of primitive tent camping sites24 total; 20 located at Area A and 4 in Area C

  • Twelve Standard Primitive. Sites #00 – #10 and #19. All Sites are located in Area A.
  • Twelve Deluxe Primitive with shared water & 20 amp electrical service.  Sites #11 – #18 (Area A) and #35 – #38 (Area C).

Campground Discounts

  • HEROES – 25% off on all campground reservations (Friday, Saturday and Sunday Only – Weekdays are already discounted). Applicable for all Military – Including Veterans as well as First Responders (Police, Fire and EMT). Be sure to enter promo code “HEROES” when checking out on CampSpot.
  • WEEKDAYS (Sunday – Thursday) are discounted 50% over weekend Rates. . Monday through Thursdays. Excluding Holiday Weekends. Automatically applied. No code needed.
  • WINTER – 50% discount. Applicable from December 1 through the end of February. No Code needed.
  • Group Discounts: We also offer substantial discounts for large groups and gatherings – churches, organizations, associations and/or special events (weddings, receptions, retreats) – for those wanting to book out the whole campground or occupy entire sections (such as Area B “The Village”). Advance planning is highly recommended. A non-refundable deposit of 50% will be required to complete the reservation.

Additional Taxes and Fees:
·      State of Tennessee mandates a 7.25% state and 2% county sales tax; 9.25% total
·      Grundy County mandates a 5% occupancy tax
·      Altamont City mandates a 4% occupancy tax
·      Reservation fee: $5.00 per reservation
·      A lock fee of $10 to $30 will be assessed per reservation to guarantee a particular site #.

Cancellation policy: You can initiate all cancellations online if you booked on Campspot, no need to call.

  • Cancellations made OVER 30 days prior to scheduled arrival date will result in a FULL refund minus the respective cancellation fee established via the Campspot system ($10-$30). 
  • Cancellations made between 8-30 days prior to the arrival date will be charged for their first day/night site rental. The remaining balance with be refunded to the original payment method.
  • Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to the scheduled arrival date will result in a complete forfeiture of payment. In such cases, there will be NO refund or camp credit issued. 

Campground Extras: Firewood $8 per bundle (3 for $20), Ice $4 per bag. Propane heaters with two tanks – $30.

Extended Stay Rental Sites: $275 per week includes electric (5th week free) or $750 – $950 per month plus metered electricity. Stays beyond 30 days are exempt from State and county sales/occupancy taxes. Applicants will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Previous tenants have relocated in the area in order to take a job nearby while looking for a permanent residence. Others, in some type of life transition, have enjoyed the serenity and sanctity of nature while considering the next season of their life. In the process, several have chosen to become workampers for a season.

Workampers/Volunteers: We reserve a handful of RV spots located at Area E for Workampers. Workamping combines part-time volunteer work with RV or tent camping. Workampers receive a free campsite, utilities and amenities in exchange for approximately 20 hours of work per week. If you are interested, please submit an application.
