Savage Gulf State Park is our “backyard” – Greeter Falls Campground is only 1/2 mile walk to the western entrance featuring three nearby waterfalls and a swimming hole. Savage Gulf features one of Tennessee’s most scenic wilderness areas – nearly 19,000 acres – with 60 miles of hiking, remarkable vistas, waterfalls, and many historical locations.

Explore Nature: Conveniently located in the heart of the Cumberland plateau, there are dozens of nearby parks, nature areas and points of interest to explore.

Multiple Camping Options: We offer 90 campsites: Full-Hook RV and Travel Trailer sites, Furnished Cabins & Yurts as well as Primitive Tent Campsites.  To enhance your experience, we provide many facilities and amenities that will make your camping experience more enriching.

Campground Grill: Open every weekend (Friday – Sunday) offers a yummy selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner options such as burgers, chicken, hot dogs, fries, yoghurt, muffins, smoothies, and assorted drinks.

Campground Store (Newly expanded for 2026): Carries many camping and hiking essentials and sundries as well as a variety of drinks and snacks. There are also branded Greeter Falls Campground items; Tee-shirts, Koozies, wrist bands and camp chairs. Come by and get a free trail map and sticker.

24/7 Bathhouse

Two Public Bathhouses: Both with Heat and A/C. One at our main campus (Area C): 2 toilets and 2 showers for both men (plus urinal) and women. The other at the Village (Area B): 2 showers in both men & women, with 3 toilets in the women side & 2 in mens. Both provide 24 hour access with keyed entry codes for campers. There is a 3rd bathhouse in Area E reserved for staff and extended stay guests and another planned for the rustic cabin area.

Two 20 x 30 Community Pavilions:  One on our main campus with 6 large picnic tables.  A great place to hang-out, gather in inclement weather and a staging location for our community events. There is a 2nd 20 x 30 community pavilion located in Area B (the Village).

Community Meeting Area: Located at Area C features a group fire circle, chairs, picnic tables and a 12′ x 16′ stage for visiting musicians and performers. Join us each Saturday night for free marshmallows and entertainment.

Kids Play Areas: Featuring Ninja Obstacle Course, Swings, Hammocks, Sand Box and Picnic Tables.  There are two; the primary one at the main campus (Area C) and a secondary one at the Village (Area B).

Dog Parks: A great “meet and greet” area for happy hounds.  It’s rustic and fun. The largest public dog park is at the main campus (Area C). There are two other public dog parks, one each in Area B and F. There are also 4 RV sites that have their own private fenced pet area.

Learning Center: Keyed access and free to all guests 24/7. Large Screen TV & Sound bar, DVDS, books, crafts focusing on nature. Discover nearby areas of interest, trails, and upcoming events. Learn about local trees, plants and animals.

Community Center: A great place to gather and relax. Perfect for planned activities and events. Two appointed rooms  include folding tables and chairs and can accommodate up to several dozen people. This facility can also be booked for private parties and meetings for a small fee.

Free High Speed Fiber Wi-Fi Access:. The Main hub of our 24/7 High Speed Network is located in Area C. This mesh network also extends throughout most of Area B, D. In addition, Areas E & F each have their own private fiber mesh network. The six deluxe Cabins in F all have their own private access point/node.

Additional (Outdoor) Facilities: Porta-Potties, Outdoor Showers and Rinse Stations are conveniently located in Area A (Primitive Tenting Area) and Area C (Near Rustic Cabins & Adjacent to Main Bathhouse).

RV Dump Station: Self-serve and free to use for our guests. Open 24/7. A Water Spigot and ElectricalReceptacle is available there as well.

Scheduled Activities: Musical Performances, Community Camp Fires, Art /Craft Activities, Movie/Game Nights, and Community meals (TBD) are regularly scheduled. Check the camp office for details.

Firewood and Ice: are available at our campground store during normal (posted) operating hours. Ice is $4 per 7 pound bag and Firewood is $8 per bundle, or 3 for $20.

Coming Soon: Nine hole (basket) disc golf course, bike/nature trail, obstacle course/exercise stations, additional outdoor games.
