  1. ★★★★★ It was clean, quiet and fulfilled our needs
  2. ★★★★★ Amazing place to stay and absolutely wonderful lodging. Staff and host are amazing individuals. I look forward to returning and exploring more of the area. Highly recommend!!
  3. ★★★★★ Fantastic place I really enjoyed staying there

  5. ★★★★★ We loved the atmosphere, the trees, not too close to other campers. We enjoyed the hike to Greeter Falls.
  6. ★★★★★ We had an amazing stay. Jessi was great at communicating and making sure we had what we needed! Will be back
  7. ★★★★★ I booked a last minute stay here. The military tent was perfect and the cots were comfortable. I realized I had forgotten my linens and Robert brought some to the military tent before I arrived. I showed up at the tent at about 1:30 AM and with the clear instructions I was given, I was able to easily find it. There were also outside lights on it, which was a nice touch. The campground was located in a beautiful woodsy area very close to some amazing hiking trails. The restrooms and showers were very clean. The site was also spacious. There was a camp store and restaurant within walking distance. The food at the restaurant was excellent as well.
  8. ★★★★★ Great place to camp. Centrally located to many trails and waterfalls that are breathtaking. Staff was great and friendly.

  10. ★★★★★ first time at this campground & i will definitely be back! christal was so kind when we arrived, making sure we knew where everything was & that we had everything we need. jessi texted us before we arrived to make sure we had the access codes for bath houses & wifi which was extremely helpful as well since we were arriving after dark. the campgrounds themselves are so clean, spacious, & tucked away between the trees – perfect for a few days away from reality. the showers, portapotties, & all the activity spaces are also so clean & well kept. can’t recommend this spot enough!
  11. ★★★★★ Five Stars! -primitive tent camper. What an amazing campground this is! I chose a primitive tent site A1 and was so glad I did. The tent pad was perfect; mostly level. I was glad for the tiny slope, as it allowed all the rain to flow down from under my ground tarp and 3 season tent. I stayed 100% dry. The outhouses were very clean. And the update B bathhouse was heated and immaculate! I didn’t think I would use it/need it, but a warm shower after the cold rain was a treat. Staff was friendly, responsive, and helpful and informed about nearby trails. This is a place I look forward to returning to!!
  12. ★★★★★ Such an amazing camp site! Everyone was friendly, great amenities. Such a wonderful location near the falls! Tent · Area A: Primitive Tent Sites:
  13. ★★★★★ Thank you! I loved my three nights! I’m looking forward to bringing friends back for yurts, cabins, and my favorite-tent camping. You are creating and improving an amazing place. I’m so grateful to have been your guest!
  14. ★★★★★ We enjoyed our time at Greeter Falls Campground. We explored Greeter Falls, Boardtree Falls, Stone Door, Foster Falls and Denny Cove Falls during our stay at Greeter Falls Campground.
  15. ★★★★★ This was our first experience at this campground with our off-road camper. 8 days of enjoyment. Awesome experience. Robert and Matthew were fantastic hosts. Perfect place for those who enjoy getting out into the woods to enjoy real nature. Savage Gulf State Park is wonderful. Please ignore my review so we can continue to enjoy this piece of paradise!
  16. ★★★★★ This place is beautiful and Robert and his crew got it covered. Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Great value
  17. ★★★★★ Good place. Good food at the Greeter Grill!! Christal was great very good cook!! VacationSolo.
  18. ★★★★★ Site 69. Full hookup. In the woods, fire ring with grill. Needed some work to get level. Quiet. Great service. Camp office nearby and bath house if needed. Great people to work with. Very accommodating. Greeter Falls about 1/2 mile away. Bit treacherous for us old folks to approach. Rock climbing near the bottom. Plenty of families visiting and swimming on a hot day. We camped at Greeter Falls Campground in a Motorhome.
  19. ★★★ We resorted to Google to figure out where to go for trails and waterfalls, but everything we read said all the trails were rocky, slippery, and had lots of stairs. With our age and health conditions, we need easy trails, so we were scared off by the reviews and never left the camper. We camped at Greeter Falls Campground in a Travel Trailer. Not overly impressed.
  20. ★★★★★ Very serene and quiet place. Close proximity to Greeter Falls trailhead. Wifi was really good. They did it right! We camped at Greeter Falls Campground in a Motorhome.
  21. ★★★★★ Very quiet. Beautiful paved site with a fire pit and picnic table and surrounded by trees. I was there mid week and it was very peaceful. Very clean bath house, cute camp store and very friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again! We camped at Greeter Falls Campground in a Motorhome.
  22. ★★★★ Visited for weekend, arrived late camp manager meet and helped after dark very friendly and great hospitality lots are newly redone sites on asphalt – trees are still very close to coach you may have slide out issues. Great time walking trails at greater falls again great staff! We camped at Greeter Falls Campground in a Motorhome.
  23. ★★★★★ Amazing campground, offering indoor showers, WiFi, and a community center where they host campfire smores and other activities. It even has an amazing dog park. And the best part is that it’s all only a 8-10min walk to the falls. Quiet, Great value
  24. ★★★★★ Staff was really kind and helpful! We loved bringing our dogs!
  25. ★★★★ Lovely campground, friendly people; bathrooms were spotless. Firewood was pricey but that’s my only complaint. Quietest campground we’ve stayed at in a long time. Nice clean, level site ( we were in a tent). Would go back again for sure!
  26. ★★★★★ We had a great stay! The cabin was clean, comfortable and we especially enjoyed the electric fireplace.
  27. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  28. ★★★★★ The location is perfect! Walking distance to the trail head. Relatively pretty quiet (both nights we could hear a dog barking late at night/middle of the night, but I assume it was from a house nearby and definitely not the fault of the campground). Everyone was very friendly that we spoke with that worked there. There was live music Saturday, which was a huge bonus. Having a small restaurant also is a plus (we didn’t order anything), but if you ran out of food or wanted something quick this would be a perk! We rented one of the smaller yurts, and the only thing I didn’t love was there was not a zipper on the front “door” just flaps that Velcro at the top. The bigger ones do have a zipper, which I’d definitely prefer just due to bugs, etc being able to possibly creep in.
  29. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  30. ★★★★★ The location was perfect! We we were able to walk to the trail head and had a lovely day. I’ll be back
  31. ★★★★★ We loved the campground. It was clean and beautiful. Our only issue was there was no grill or even a grill over the fire pit.
  32. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  33. ★★★★★ What a great little campground! It was very well maintained, the staff was friendly, and the primitive sites were nice and spacious. I camped here solo and felt very safe. I think this would be a great spot for group camping as well. I don’t typically have high standards for a camping bathroom but these are great! Only a 10-minute walk to a few very lovely trails of varying difficulty with great views and waterfalls. It has just a little bit of everything. Definitely a great weekend getaway spot and will most likely be back!
  34. ★★★★★ Easily the cleanest and best kept primitive camp site I have experienced yet! The staff is extremely friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. You got to go visit Cristal at the grill on the weekends. Not only is she an amazing cook! You won’t meet a nicer person than her as well!
  35. ★★★★★ I love this place, great food, highly recommend 👍
  36. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  37. ★★★ The cabin seemed new and clean. It included bed coverings and towels for the bathroom. There was no rod for hanging clothes. The shower water pressure was too low. There was no instructions for the wall heater. And, the entrance door had a 1/4″ gap at the bottom to let cold air and one roach enter without asking.
  38. ★★★★★ Great campsite. Nice campsites with picnic tables and fire pits. Plenty of trees for your hammock. Full hookups were nice. Pretty in the fall. Only drawback was the sites were a little tight and it took a few tries to get in. If you have a long trailer, it might be difficult. 23 ft travel trailer · With pets · RV: FHU RV Site
  39. ★★★★★ We enjoyed very much our stay at the campground. We had a great time with the music of James Sartain played Saturday night at the main area. The hike to the falls was very enjoyable. The bathrooms were nice.
  40. ★★★★★ Right from the start we fell in love with this campground. My boyfriend and I have camped A LOT of places and this one has taken over the top spot. The people that work here are so friendly!! I can’t say enough about the bathroom/ shower house. Our campsite is lush with trees and perfectly spaced out from the others. Last night for dinner we had burgers at the grill and boy were they good!!! We can’t wait to come back with all of our kids! VacationCouple

  42. ★★★★★ I love the location of this campground. The seclusion of it was wonderful. So peaceful! VacationFamily
  43. ★★★★★ Fantastic campground with amazing staff. Great hiking trails, live music on Saturday, general store, dog park, kids play area and very clean. Depending on your site you might want to bring an extra water and sewage hose. The paved area and large sitting area were game-changer. We will be back
  44. ★★★★★ Nice quiet place to camp and staff are always very prompt and helpful for any needs! VacationFamily
  45. ★★★★★ Site was clean, attendant stayed open a couple of minutes after for me to purchase firewood. Assistant for breakfast the next morning was sweet and helpful. Would stay again and would recommend.

  47. ★★★★★ This is a great campground, I camp frequently and seek out ones that I think I will like and this one is must visit and I will be back. Easy reservations, easy check in, nice wooded sites that are pretty well spaced out. The Wi-Fi worked well. It was an actual camping experience vs the all too often parking lot set up you see. This place has done it right. Vacation · Couple
  48. ★★★★★ Yurt Yurt! We had a great night in our yurt. It was cold and we forgot our pillows, but we still had fun. All the neighbors were considerate and no wild parties happened that night. We also got dinner at the snack shack and it was delicious. Will definitely again if we go back to the area. With kids ·Glamping: 16′ x 16′ Furnished Yurt
  49. ★★★★★ 30 ft Class C ·RV: FHU Pull Through – Extra Long. A great place to Park an RV for a few days. Wide wooded lots. Peaceful and quiet area off the beaten path. Would definitely recommend Greeter Falls. We’ll be back in the Spring!!!
  50. ★★★★★ Area A: Primitive Tent Sites: We loved our stay at the primitive camp sites! We had site #4, and it was nicely tucked away while still being very accessible to the porta potties / water. Things were great! The falls were very close and everything went smoothly.
  51. ★★★★★ What a great camping experience. So many things that were beyond our expectations. Highly recommend this campground. I’ve visited the Savage Gulf and Greeter Falls area many time, but this was my first trip to the campground.
  52. ★★★★★ My husband is not a big camper, and we just got back from a weekend at Greeter Falls Campground. We had the best time! This campground has it all. The sites were spacious, level, and had good shade. The staff was very helpful. The hiking trails are only a 10-minute walk away. We will definitely be returning.
  53. ★★★★★ VacationFamily – Kid-friendly. We enjoyed this campground! We tent camped in the primitive loop. Parking was about 20ish steps from our campsite, which kept our site shaded and surrounded by trees. I am glad they didn’t cut the trees for parking at each site. We joined the group campfire and enjoyed the singer on Saturday night! Bathrooms in the primitive loop were port potties, but they were kept very clean. Shower house and flush toilets were not far to walk and very clean. Greeter falls trailhead is about 1/2 a mile from the campground. Thank you and we will be back!
  54. ★★★★★ VacationFamily. This was our first yurt experience and it was great. The whole family had a wonderful time! Can’t think of anything to have made it any better. Highly recommend!!! Will likely return!!

  56. ★★★★★ This place was pretty awesome 😎 had some many different variety of types of camp sites you can choose from. Plus it’s super close to some amazing waterfalls and a swimming hole. the campground store clerk Laura was super nice and helpful can’t wait to come again 😊 Couple Vacation. Great view, Kid-friendly, Great value.
  57. ★★★★★ Our yurt was super clean and waiting for us as we arrived.
  58. ★★★★★ Had an absolutely wonderful stay. The campground is great. Staff is super friendly. The sites were nice size and had a fire pit and picnic table with a lot of space for gathering with friends. We ordered food from the grill, which is a nice perk so we didn’t have to cook one meal. Bath houses were nice and clean. You can tell the staff takes pride in keeping the park tidy. Nice size dog park. Conveniently located close to many hiking trails. Not too far to drive to both Nashville and Chattanooga for day trips. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Family Vacation.
  59. ★★★★★ Couple Vacation. We are new to traveling to “flip the coin” places. I would rate this place as one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed before. The cabin and the surroundings were very clean, modern, and had more than what you would ever expect for camping. Quiet environment and just a short distance to Greeter Falls. Definitely a repeat. Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Great value.
  60. ★★★★★ Family Vacation. We went with a group of 8 and rented two yurts next to each other! It was so much fun. Facilities were all clean and well maintained. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Genuinely 10/10.. Yurts were clean and the beds were comfy. Greeter falls and stone door hike! Quiet, Great value.
  61. ★★★★★ Greeter Falls, We will be back! Our stay here was GREAT! The entire place was nice and clean. grounds, shower house etc…… Having the convenience of the store AND…… Crystals cooking (which was great btw) was a bonus! My family and I loved it and will be back!
  62. ★★★★★ I loved are stay with Greeter Falls. Campsite was very clean and we really enjoyed everything they had to offer. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Area A: Deluxe Tent Sites
  63. ★★★★★ My stay was awesome! The campsite was clean, the food at the snack bar was really good and well priced. The cabin was well done and had everything I needed to hangout for a few days. I will be back!!!
  64. ★★★★★ Furnished Large 16′ x16′ Military Squad Tent.  Booked kinda last minute but worked out great. We just wanted somewhere near the hiking trails and easy to deal with and it was perfect for that. It was camping without sleeping on the ground! We ended up having the whole camp site to ourselves. The campground was clean and peaceful!
  65. ★★★★★ Just a great little campground it’s got cabins tents RV hookups and kid playgrounds. Family Vacation.
  66. ★★★★★ Solo. Friendly and helpful Staff. Beautiful place. I had my first motocamp (tent camping off a motorcycle) experience there. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back!
  67. ★★★★★ What a great campground. Each lot surrounded by trees. Very private. Excellent large fenced off areas for dogs. Short 2 minute drive to lots of hiking. The campfire host, I cannot remember her name was super friendly and so helpful.
  68. ★★★★★ Staying here was peaceful. Love greeter Falls Campground. Be back in a month. Furnished Tiny Home /Cabin
  69. ★★★★★ Lovely campground! Lovely campground all around! Would absolutely go again! Area A: Deluxe Tent Sites
  70. ★★★★★ Awesome. No words, just go and enjoy the view. The falls are beautiful, and the camp was comfy. Nice concert, the office was ready to help. I recommend this place 100% i went with 2 teenagers, they love it. Be ready and prepared if you go to use a tent, the area has electricity, water, and wifi.
  71. ★★★★★ Very clean and well maintained campground and Lisa was a friendly host. Closest to new Savage State park and trails. Watch for back-in vs pull-in sites to match your rig. Fiber Wi-Fi was the best we have ever used in a campground and allowed streaming.
  72. ★★★★★ Awesome place to visit. I rented a yurt and my sister and husband had an RV site. Everything was very clean and well kept up. The water falls were close by and fantastic

  75. ★★★★★ We loved our experience at Greeter Falls Campground!
  76. ★★★★★ SO much to love! The campground is tucked in perfectly in the woods with so many accommodations-including the friendliest staff, the Greeter Grill, activities for kids, and a wonderful community bonfire and concert. We truly felt like we were with family. Savage Gulf State Park is walking distance and was absolutely breathtaking and allowed us to hike, swim and explore. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will 10000% be back!!
  77. ★★★★★ I had a great stay at the greeter falls primitive campground. The sites were well marked, porta potties were conveniently located and sanitary, I loved my spot because I was able to pull my car in next to the fire/picnic table and the hosts were so kind and easy to communicate with! I will be returning! Primitive Tent Area A· With pets.
  78. ★★★★ Greeter falls. The campground was a perfect weekend getaway, especially if you plan on doing some hiking! Camp was the perfect distance from some of the best trailheads in the area. As far as the campground goes, I have zero complaints about the campground or the staff. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and we were checked on each day to ensure that we were good and that we didn’t need anything such as firewood. The convenience of the bathhouses and electricity was also a nice touch. The only issue we ran into was noisy neighbors. We also had a neighbor across the way with an untrained pup that mostly roamed free and struggled to listen to the owner’s commands. Also, heard a lot of whining and whimpering when their pup was left unattended without any attention. Glamping: 11’x11′ Furnished Yurt
  79. ★★★★★ Fairly new campgrounds, fantastic people running the business. Campgrounds are wonderful, well maintained, clean restrooms and showers. Great amenities – camp store, cafe onsite that operates Fri – Sun. In close proximity, hiking distance to Greeter Falls, Boardtree Falls, Blue hole and other hiking trails. Quiet, Kid-friendly
  80. ★★★★★ We happened to be staying somewhere else down the road, but went to the burger stand at the campground was great! Good food at a reasonable price and the lady who ran it provided above and beyond service. It was good, but for anything you would find at a campground, it was unheard of.
  81. ★★★★ Location was perfect to access multiple trailheads for hiking. The grounds were well kept and staff was friendly and helpful. Only negatives are the advertised “dog park” didn’t exist and the RV pads were undersized (too narrow) for our 45′ fifth wheel. Greeter Falls trailhead is within walking distance of the campground.
  82. ★★★★★ We are from Mississippi with our fair share of campground experiences and this is by far the most home welcoming and clean place we’ve been to. Very family friendly. Very pleased with how each individual here has treated one another. 10/10 will be back again.
  83. ★★★★★ Nothing is ever perfect, but the staff is fantastic! Great area as well.
  84. ★★★★★ Single Woman Adventures Camping! I had a wonderful stay at this campsite! From the moment we arrived, Matt and Teresa made me feel so welcome—they were warm, friendly, and always available to help with anything we needed. The facilities were spotless, with clean restrooms and showers that made camping comfortable and stress-free. The grounds were well maintained, quiet at night, and perfect for relaxing by the fire. You can really tell the staff care about creating a great experience for their guests. As a single woman camping by myself, I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and enjoyable place to stay. Area A: Tent Sites: Solo/Duo
  85. ★★★★★ Great spot close to so many amazing hiking trails , we were able to work remote during the week and enjoyed the beautiful string lights in the trees at night. Nice , clean campground and friendly staff. 20 ft travel trailer · RV: FHU Pull Through – Extra Long
  86. ★★★★★ Spectacular. We are first timers and Matt has been very helpful even before arriving at the camp site. Very clean and well maintained. We felt secluded at the same time, we felt safe. We were able to see the beautiful stars in our 2 nights we stayed there. Bathroom is squeaky clean. They also have dog parks around the campground. Very near the Greeter Falls entrance. Also, Christal’s sirloin burger is the bomb. Will definitely be back. Deluxe Tent · With pets
  87. ★★★★★ Great time and great location to the waterfalls!! Great view, Great value.
  88. ★★★★★ We camped at one of the RV sites. The camp was really nice and serene. Great place for some quiet down time. Close enough to walk to the Greeter Falls trailhead.
  89. ★★★★★ I reserved a primitive campsite and enjoyed having a semi private location to camp. It truly gave you the feeling of being alone in nature while still having the amenities of a bathhouse. Staff was friendly and very helpful. I hope to return someday. Easy access to hiking trails and swimming hole. A short drive to the caverns for concerts. Felt very safe in this location. We traveled to this location to attend a concert at the caverns and camping here was a great location for a short drive to the caverns while still getting to enjoy a weekend of being immersed in nature.
  90. ★★ While we didn’t stay more than one day due to family emergency. They don’t have any policy in place for emergencies basically if you pay and can’t stay then you’re at a loss. I spoke with their supervisor and followed up with an email but never got a straight answer or a refund. Will never consider this place ever again.
  91. ★★★★★ BEST PLACE IVE BEEN CAMPING!!! super friendly and clean. Would definitely recommend
  92. ★★★★★ Peaceful Family Getaway at Greeter. Recently stayed at a campground near Greeter Falls with my family, and we had a great experience! The hosts were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything feel even more welcoming. The campground was exactly as described—no surprises, just a quiet and scenic spot to enjoy nature. The restrooms and common areas were clean, well-kept, and in perfect order, which is always a big plus when camping with kids. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to unplug, hike, and enjoy some quality time outdoors, I definitely recommend this spot. We’ll be back! Tent · With kids · Area A: Deluxe Tent Sites
  93. ★★★★★ Great camp ground! Clean and a lot of little extra amenities that make it feel homie. Very friendly staff. Big lots with trees. Will come again!!
  94. ★★★★★Greeter Falls is absolutely by far the best camp ground I have ever been to! Very friendly staff, and a very clean and neat park! Chrystal was absolutely the best! I highly recommend to everyone looking for rv or tent camping sites. Vacation with Family.
  95. ★★★★★ Had a great time with Christal super nice and sweet I love greeter falls campground. Family Vacation. Great view, Quievt, Kid-friendly, Great value
  96. ★★★★ We enjoyed the cabin we stayed in, although our granddaughter had problems with here entry code working correctly for her cabin. Beautiful area, peaceful and quiet.
  97. ★★★★★ Couple Vacation.  Lovely campgrounds great service clean bathhouse we will be back.
  98. ★★★★★ Primitive campsite, 🏕️ . Port potties were clean, the actual bathrooms had hot steamy water with air conditioning! Very clean. Knowledgeable staff and very sweet. 25% off Military, which was incredible. They sell food, ice, etc on site.  Many types of sites from RV to tent. Nearby Water holes, hiking etc. Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value! Recommend 2-3 days and once a week campfire with marshmallows by the staff for all guests! Great location totally will do this again.
  99. ★★★★★ Probably the best private campground we have visited. Most campsites are very roomy and private. The primitive area was very nice and secluded. Host Laura was very helpful and nice.
  100. ★★★★★ Easy check in nice staff clean camping
  101. ★★★★★ We had a blast in the Yurts! Thank you it was the best experience for our family and the cost was perfect!
  102. ★★★★★ Great secluded campground. Awesome place! Friendly staff. The campsite was secluded and the common areas were really nice. Pathways to the bathhouse were well maintained and the lights in the woods were a great touch. There is a lot of great hiking nearby. If you are looking for a secluded natural campground with beautiful areas to explore, this is your place. My husband and I would love to go back without the grandkids so to explore even more. 31 ft travel trailer · With kids · RV: Standard (non-FHU) Sites
  103. ★★★★★ Very nice campsite, near a cool location. Would recommend. Group trip ·Area A: Primitive Tent Sites
  104. ★★★★★ Pet friendly, primitive camping!! The hike was short enough for my two kids(7&9) and puppy!! The waterfalls were beautiful
  105. ★★★★★ Cabin/Tiny Home: “all the staff was super friendly country folks. had roasting mellows at the community camp thingy.”
  106. ★★★★★ Great campground. We came with a C Class RV and hooked up to a full service site. Camp is rather rustic and we love camping in a wooded area. Service was terrific. The Falls are awe inspiring.
  107. ★★★★★ Very quiet location. The bathroom was nice, not crowded, clean, nice scenery. It’s not glamping, so don’t go in expecting a resort. It was great for what we wanted. The staff is very friendly. Food available.
  108. ★★★★★ Awesome
  109. ★★★★★ This was my first time to stay at the campground and I will be back! Theresa, Crystal and Matthew were friendly, and readily available. The campground offered activities such as movie night, craft night, and live music by the fire pit with s’mores! The trailhead was a half mile walk from the campground. The campground was clean and quiet. Crystal cooked yummy burgers, hot dogs, chicken, fries and more. Theresa managed the store which had a lot of necessities, goodies and firewood. Matthew would help with your site as needed. The bath house was always clean. There was a large dog park and a few sites had individual dog parks. It was a wonderful visit! Go visit Greeter Falls Campground, you won’t be disappointed!
  110. ★★★★★ Very nice camp ground, we’ll go back for sure
  111. ★★★★★ We had a fantastic stay at Greeter Falls Campground! The location is perfect — just a 5-minute drive or a 20-minute walk to the trailhead for the Blue Hole and Greeter Falls hike. It made accessing the waterfalls super convenient without the hassle of long drives.  The campground itself is peaceful and tucked away in the forest, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Surrounded by trees and nature, it felt like a true getaway. The sites were clean, well-maintained, and offered plenty of privacy. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to explore the falls area while enjoying a calm, woodsy camping experience. We’ll definitely be coming back! 🌲⛺💧
  112. ★★★★★ I love it
  113. ★★★★★ Greeter Falls Campground, Altamont, TN. Really nice campground, good service at camp office and shop. Beautiful sites, peaceful and a great hike to 3 waterfalls.
  114. ★★★★★ Beautiful camp ground and amazing people, can’t wait to visit again!
  115. ★★★★★ Still here !! This place is AMAZING!! I Rented a Yurt site for July 4th weekend/3 nights.>/mark> Everything you need is on site, plus there DG store 10 min away! The staff is super Friendly, Christal at the snack bar was the best!!! The Falls and Blue hole was AMAZING and just a small walk!! Will definitely be back!!
  116. ★★★★★ Great service at Snack Bar. Best burger I’ve had in ages!/strong> Also, awesome chili-cheese dog! Skin on fries were hot and fresh! Everything was cooked for us and was hand delivered by Christal. She was awesome to deal with! Easy check in. Nice, polite attendants. Close proximity to hiking trails.
  117. ★★★★★ We stayed in yurt #21 during our weekend visit and we loved it. The area was nice and clean including the bathrooms. The only negative would be that the yurts are too close together and if you get some loud neighbors like we did on our last night then it can get annoying 😑 but overall we enjoyed our stay😊 With kids · Glamping: 16′ x 16′ Furnished Yurt
  118. ★★★★★ A wonderful, clean, and cozy place surrounded by nature. The host was 10/10, very kind in every way. We will definitely return to this place. 16 ft car · Group trip · RV: FHU Pull Through – Extra Long

  120. ★★★★★ Very nice campground, clean bathrooms, entertainment, alot of dog friendly sites, close to the falls. Staff is extremely helpful and attentive. Nice playgrounds and all around peaceful atmosphere. Quiet.
  121. ★★★★★ Christal was great! Loved our entire experience!
  122. ★★★★★ This was my first time here and I love it! It is conveniently located near the water fall and great hiking trails and it also has a nice clean bathhouse, a grill and a nice little convenience store. I would definitely recommend it and come back.
  123. ★★★★★ We really enjoyed our stay at Greeter Falls Campground. Good space between campsites, clean restrooms, nice showers with plenty of hot water. Very close to three water falls and to a natural swimming pool, The Blue Hole. We would definitely stay here again. My only suggestion is to improve signage. It was a bit confusing as to where our site was located.
  124. ★★★★★ The Pack family really enjoyed our time there at the campground. Very peaceful and the people we met were very nice. Love the Concert Saturday night we all had a great time. The staff was very nice and helpful. We plan to come back. Thank you all.
  125. ★★★★★ Exceeded our expectations! Will definitely be returning!
  126. ★★★★★ Stayed a few nights in their campground to check out the blue hole and Greeter Falls. Took a hike at the Stone door. Excellent location for what we wanted to do. Just be aware if you need a restaurant everyday, this area is not your place. We found the workers friendly and they gave us some great areas to check out. Glad we stayed. Quiet, Great value

  129. ★★★★★ Love Greeter Falls it frist time super quite super clean and kid friendly. Definitely coming back. Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value, High-tech. VacationFriends
  130. ★★★★★ We stayed in the cabins, which are tidy and comfortable. Nice cabins. They also have campsites for RVs with full hookups, rustic sites, and more. Greeter Falls trails are only half a mile away. Easy to walk but there are hills. Safe. Great view, Quiet
  131. ★★★★★ Cozy little cabin in the woods. There is a burger place at the camp grounds within walking distance. We enjoyed the hike to Greeter Falls Blue Hole. It was only .5 mile in and ..5 Mile out. The blue hole was amazing. The waterfalls were a quickish hike in as well. We even witnessed little baby otters playing in their natural habitat! They were the cutest things I have ever seen! Robert was responsive to communications through the Air BnB app as well. The cabin had all amenities listed and was clean! Cabin was a little pricy however it was Bonaroo weekend so that explains that.
  132. ★★★★★ Tiny House – Furnished Cabin. Loved the cabin! It was so clean and the perfect size for a long weekend getaway.
  133. ★★★★★ Furnished Cabin. Robert was super helpful about our last minute booking. He set up a cot for my brother who was staying with me, and it was much appreciated. The maps of the campsite were a little confusing. Each area wasn’t clearly marked with their respective area letter, but once you found the right number range of tiny homes the individual yurts were marked clearly.
  134. ★★★★★ Glamping: 16′ x 16′ Furnished Yurt. It was an absolutely amazing stay and very amazing sights to see will definitely be back. All the staff was absolutely amazing.
  135. ★★★★★ The best campground I have ever been too! It was beautiful and relaxing. The bathrooms were very clean! The atmosphere was perfect!! Vacation · Family
  136. ★★★★ Great location with nearby access to the best waterfalls and trails in the area. You can walk from camp to Greeter Falls trailhead easily. The campsite’s check-in has a small general store with a good selection of snacks, foods, and necessities. Very clean bathrooms and showers within walking distance are available to both regular and primitive sites. Campsites are small, and some are on slants or inclines, making it difficult to lay out tents and table setups. Some have more privacy than others. Great view, Quiet
  137. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  138. ★★★★★ Great campground with pretty nice showers and a common area. Our spot was ready and labeled reserved for us with our late check in. Spots well labeled. Stayed here for the Savage Gulf trails, would come back again.
  139. ★★★★★ Can’t say enough about this little gem. Peaceful, clean and wonderful people. Gets you back to nature. Our week stay was the best. Lots to do if ya love nature and history. You’ll see God’s beauty all around. Water falls a plenty . Stone Door was a breath taking sight. Find the old Beershaba Hotel for a cool history lesson and Highway 56 in Altamont (coffee and pastry shop) has great lunch and ice cream. We can’t wait to get back.
  140. ★★★★ It was a little pricey and the camper spot was a little too narrow compared to some. They could be about 2 feet wider and I believe most places charge $50 to $55 / night for full hook up. However, it was about the only place around and the staff was very nice and helpful. The wi-fi was good and when I got a flat tire, the staff gave me great advice on where to go.

  142. ★★★★★ Great campground. Clean facilities, helpful staff. Very quiet and a great location!
  143. ★★★★★ My husband and I loved tent camping here! This was our second time back to this location because of the quietness, close proximity to Greeter Falls and how nice the accommodations are. We hope to return later this year! Tent · With pets · Area A: Tent Sites: Deluxe Family
  144. ★★★★★ Great Campground & Location. 31 ft fifth wheel · With kids · RV: FHU (Full Hook-up) RV Site. Great campground! We’ve been twice now, very accommodating, phenomenal location, highly reccomend!
  145. ★★★★★ Rooms: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Location: 5/5
  146. ★★★★★ Great Place to Camp. Greeter Falls is a great place to camp! The new showers and toilets that are close to the tent sites are a definite plus. Tent · With pets · Area A: Tent Sites: Solo/Duo
  147. ★★★★★ Ot was a clean and spacious camp. We had the best 1st vacation as a family.
  148. ★★★★★ This was a great campground. Clean and with full hookups. The park area for the kids was perfect. There were 9 kids in our group. They all loved it. Kids say the bycicle riding wasn’t the best. Due to being so close to the road. Bathrooms were super clean. We loved walking to the falls. It is a must. Totally recommend it. One thing to keep in mind. Try to arrive during the day time. It’s super dark and will be a bit challenging setting up at night time.
  149. ★★★★★ Tiny House – Furnished Cabin. Loved this camp ground and the cabins! Our cabin was perfect, clean, cozy, perfect for a glamping experience! So close to really beautiful trails and a peaceful area. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
  150. ★★★★★ We loved Greeter Falls Campground! We camped in Area A which is their primitive sites. The sites were clean and the provided picnic tables, fire rings, and fire grates were perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathhouse was extremely clean. The location was PRIME! Mere minutes from TONS of gorgeous hikes in and around Savage Gulf State Park, and less than an hour away from Fall Creek Falls State Park, and 30 minutes from South Cumberland State Park. We will definitely be coming back to this amazing Campground. Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value
  151. ★★★★★ Campground is very convenient to the beautiful falls. FHU site we stayed in was plenty long but narrow. It looks like they are working on landscaping improvements. Very quiet, had a store we didn’t utilize. We were in town for The Caverns, about 30 drive away. Overall nice stay. RV:30 ft travel trailer -FHU Pull Through – Extra Long.
  152. ★★★★★ This campsite was super easy to navigate! this was our first time camping, and the staff were super sweet! everything was very clean and well maintained; definitely recommend!
  153. ★★★★★ Tent · With kids · Area A: Tent Sites: Family/Group. Perfect location to access Greeter Falls! We went during a wet weekend and our site was definitely soggy. Unfortunately the firewood we bought from the camp store wouldn’t catch. Overall, though we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
  154. ★★★★★ Great value. Rooms: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Location: 5/5
  155. ★★ We were excited about our first stay at Greeter Falls Campground. We reserved site 86(F). The site was small for an RV with a slide so our camper barely fit. Large logs lined the site which posed a problem for the sewer line. Very little room to maneuver near the picnic/fire pit area. The site map did not show the campsites were next to a road so the 4-wheeler & road traffic was very loud. Not much peace & quiet here. The sites are not level so be aware. Not likely to stay here again.
  156. ★★★ We enjoyed the wooded spaces among the trees. The staff was friendly. The downside was the bath house. It was quite a distance from our site and way too small for the number of campers. People with RV’s still use the bath house. Also, be aware of how level or not so level some of the sites are. Several had to jack their rigs up to level. Some sewage connections are uphill which makes it difficult to drain efficiently. The section we were in had added another site completely blocking the road in. Growing pains. The potential is there for an even better camping experience in the future.
  157. ★★★★★ Very friendly staff and clean, well kept campgrounds! Quiet, Great value
  158. ★★★★★ Stopped in to have a bite to eat. After a great hike at the falls. Wow, the falls are just breathtaking !
  159. ★★★★★ The location was beautiful and the dog park was great, at the store Shelly was was a great help to get items ranging from dish soap to a smore kit. Great waterfalls and camping. 5 stars!!!
  160. ★★★★★ A wonderful back-to-nature camping and RV location in the mountains east of Chattanooga. Very friendly, with all the basics for camping. Nicely wooded sites, easy in and out, great dog play area. Some unique touches, and we loved hiking the nearby waterfall trails. A little thunder and rain overnight only added to the positive experience. Gravel, not paved, roads, but well maintained!
  161. ★ The bed is very uncomfortable, very thin.
  162. ★★★★★ The location and amenities are top notch, the staff was super helpful and friendly. Tent · With pets · Area A: Tent Sites: Solo/Duo
  163. ★★★★★ Oh my the yurts were so lovely! Comfy beds, soft lighting, a fan, a picnic table, a firepit with grate, a hammock, a lil side table and chairs, all provided! Clean drinking water nearby. There was a cozy lil community hang area. And we were warm and dry inside when it rained! This was an awesome place go celebrate a birthday with some of my friends. Just helpful and friendly staff and ownership. So peaceful amidst the hemlocks. I highly recommend this place. From yurts, to sweet lil temp controlled cabins with many nice amenities, to RV hookups ro primitive sites…this place really has it all and is within less than an hour from so many amazing day trips and waterfalls In the South Cumberland. Thank you so much for creating this Robert. And a special thanks to Matt and all of the amazing crew, work campers, etc who made and continue to make this possible. Definitely get there y’all! Praise God for it.
  164. ★★★★ This campground is awesome we have been two times already and love it.however do not try to get in before 2 even when you have a RV. Very quiet.
  165. ★★★★★ Loved this Campground. Rustic, Beautiful and Peaceful. Office and Camp shop were great. Beautiful hike to Waterfalls! Highly recommend
  166. ★★★★★ Tent camp was a wonderful spot that was nice & clean and secluded enough for privacy, but w/neighbors close enough if a need were to arise. The attending staff was GREAT! I believe her name was Mattie. She was terrific to work with and very personable.
  167. ★★★★★ Beautiful and peaceful. Definitely one of my favorite camp sites.
  168. ★★★★★ I very much enjoyed being at the camp grounds. The staff was very polite and curtious. Awesome Experience we will be back with the kids. There are activities for children and the make delicious burgers. Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value, High-tech.
  169. ★★★ Storm with hail came up heavy winds and flash flooding for the weekend. Had a dog afraid of thunder and lightning. Asked for a refund or some kind of compensation and they refused due to policy. Though everything at the campground was nice and wooded, many sites were very uneven.
  170. ★★★★★ What a very nice place. Quiet and peaceful. Our dog loved the dog park area. 27 ft travel trailer · With pets · RV: Standard (non-FHU) Sites
  171. ★★★★★ Everything was as expected. Good amenities such as kid’s play/climbing area. Very nice bathroom facilities. Inside of tent was clean and tidy. Yurt 24 was a nice spot.
  172. ★★★★★ Campground was great! Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. It is a very rustic, quiet campground. Lots of hiking trails nearby. Lunch stand (open afternoons) has DELICIOUS burgers!!
  173. ★★★★ Nice campground but, the RV sites were very narrow. We have a 35ft Brinkley with slide outs on both sides. We took up the entire width of the site. Our stairs came down and landed in the mud. It rained the entire weekend so, we tracked in all kinds of debris. We stayed in a pull through site (86) which was plenty long enough. Just not wide enough. The campground was clean and very nice. A lot of trees and shade. The staff were extremely nice, helpful, and responsive! Great campground though! Only reason I didn’t give them a 5* was because of the narrow sites.
  174. ★★★ Unfortunately it rained and got cold while we were here. Our tents were no match for the monsoon rains that we had while there. The staff at the campground were so nice and accommodating, they even had a food stand where they sold hot dogs, hamburgers and fries that were good.  Our intentions were to cook over the fire, but it was difficult to keep a fire going with the amount of rain we had. Our last day was dry enough for a hike which was amazing and the waterfalls did not disappoint with the vast amount of rain we had. The bath house was always clean and warm, a place we went to just to keep warm!
  175. ★★★★★ We had an amazing time during our class camp out at Greeter Falls. Thank you for creating such a lovely space where we could gather and enjoy our time together. The village of yurts was amazing and our students did not want to leave this morning. (Neither did the chaperones) Thank you Maddie for being so helpful- she got us set up and answered all of our many questions. We hope you’ll have us back because we can’t wait to return. Thanks you again.
  176. ★★★★★ Thank you !! For a Great!!! Weekend
  177. ★★★★★ Soooo friendly and accommodating! We had a last minute change because of severe weather and they were wonderful and helpful! Close to some beautiful hiking and waterfalls :). 30 ft travel trailer · RV: Standard (non-FHU) Sites.
  178. ★★★★★ A great campsite with friendly and helpful people. We enjoyed our stay there and it is the perfect campsite to use as base to hike the Savage Gulf State Park with all its beautiful waterfalls. 30 ft travel trailer · RV: Standard (non-FHU) Sites
  179. ★★★★★ Great campground. Stayed at sire 1. Good privacy. Very recommended. Tent · With pets · Area A: Tent Sites: Solo/Duo
  180. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  181. ★★★★★ Being able to take a hot shower with good water pressure in a clean bathroom was amazing. There is also a water spigot, trash cans and portable toilets near the tent sites. The location is so beautiful. We had an amazing experience. We will definitely be back! Great view, Quiet, Great value
  182. ★★★★ (no Review)
  183. ★★★★★ Such a great camping spot, with beautiful hiking trails on site!
  184. ★★★★★ We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return. I’ve never seen a more beautiful night sky.
  185. ★★★★ For the most part we enjoyed our experience at Greeter Falls Campground. It was near waterfalls we planned on seeing, our slot was very spacious, Debbie who worked in the camp shot was very friendly and the campground was very clean and well maintained. The downside was the bathroom facilities…two toilets and two showers just isn’t adequate. Let’s face it, even people who have big RVs tend to still use campground bathrooms and it just wasn’t enough. Hopefully, that will be changed soon enough because as I understand it there really aren’t many campgrounds in the area.
  186. ★★★★★ Rooms: 5/5Service: 5/5Location: 5/5
  187. ★★★★★ Great view, Quiet, Great value
  188. ★★★★★ Very peaceful!
  189. ★★★★★ Such a quaint area, the staff was so friendly and the campsites were very nice and secluded. Greeter falls itself is BREATHTAKING!!!! 10/10 recommend this campsite !!!
  190. ★★★ Short walk to top, view obstructed by trees. Couldn’t even take a photo. Trail to bottom, bolders….could not go. Need good glutes and hamstrings and quadriceps. 67 y/old
  191. ★★★★★ Great campground, located perfectly to explore both Savage Gulf SP and South Cumberland SP. Loved the Greeter Falls Loop and the Stone Door Trail. Lovely place, great bathrooms, nice firepits.
  192. ★★★★ We enjoyed this clean, quiet campground about an hour from Ruby Falls and See Rock City. It was nice to have a clean bathhouse with hot showers since we didn’t have sewer hookup this trip. Greeter Falls and the Blue Hole hikes were beautiful and lots of fun to hike.
  193. ★★★★★ Loved the location. Bath house was clean with hot showers. Very friendly staff!
  194. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  195. ★★★ Location to the falls-5. Real Pictures of sites would help pick where to stay if you’ve never been there. Other spots looked amazing. We paid a lot more for what we got, but still had a good time.
  196. ★★★★★ Nice campground in the woods that is close to many great hiking trails such as Greeter falls, Suter falls & Horsepound falls as well as Stone Door trail, to name a few. The roads and sites in the campground are all gravel. We were able to navigate to our site with our 37 ft Motorhome without issues (we did disconnect our tow before arriving).  Overall, happy with the campground and we plan on returning. We camped at Greeter Falls Campground in a Motorhome.
  197. ★★★★★ Family Vacation. We had so much fun staying at the Greeter falls camp ground. Clean quiet campground with lots of space for our little ones and dog. Walking distance to hiking trails and less than 20min drive to 10+ other waterfalls. Clean bath house and sites. We’ll be back! Quiet, Kid-friendly
  198. ★★★★★ Tent · Group trip · Glamping: 16′ x 16′ Furnished Yurt. Wonderful campsite! My only complaint is that our neighbors were very loud and had little to no respect for the fact that they had neighbors some of which were young children who were trying to sleep. There is a 10pm quiet time posted but it is up to campers to be respectful of each other. All in all the facilities were clean and well maintained. Hot showers and bathrooms were much appreciated and the staff was extremely helpful! I will definitely be back!
  199. ★★★★★ This place was clean, very close to the park and the staff was so friendly. Normally private campgrounds crowd the spots together, but these were far enough apart to have some privacy. I can’t wait to go back!
  200. ★★★★★ VacationFriends. My friends and I stayed at the Greeter Falls Campground the night we drove into the area to hike through Savage Gulf State Park. We had a great experience and would absolutely return. The staff are all extremely nice and were helpful with any questions we had. The facilities are very clean and well maintained and the primitive campsites were separate enough to give you some privacy but not so secluded that it requires a hike to get to them. We all arrived later on in the day and it was very easy to unload our cars from the road then move to parking and quickly walk back to camp. I would absolutely recommend this campground especially if you aim to do some hiking in Savage Gulf.
  201. ★★★★★ Family Vacation. 2nd year back its so nice we will be back next year to! Grounds are clean and maintained. I will just say just a tip for anyone there fire wood is hard to get going when we stayed so we would grab a bundle at the store and use that to get it going but then it burned long and hot.
  202. ★★★★★ Had a great time doing the glamping thing there. Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value. Waterfalls and hiking trails
  203. ★★★★★ This campground is excellent, and with new areas are under construction to expand. The bathhouse is clean. The grounds are well maintained. The camp store may be small with necessities but there is hot food available at certain times made to order. The location is very close to the West Trailhead of Savage Gulf and Greeter Falls – the location is excellent. The yurts tents are well constructed – the beds and mattresses are reasonably comfortable for tent camping. Depending on the time of year you are visiting just prepare for weather conditions – have a propane heater with extra propane tanks for the cold winter nights – the tent will get warm during the day even during the cold months. A fan is mounted inside the tent but I would imagine the hot months it would be steamy. Will visit again!
  204. ★★★★★ VacationFamily. Greeter Falls Campground is fabulous. The grounds are beautiful and the campsites nestled in the trees. It is a short walk to the Greeter Falls and Blue Hole hiking loops. The staff are friendly and attentive. The camp store is tiny but has a good selection of essentials. We enjoyed the community campfire and my kids loved the slacklines. We will be back!
  205. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  206. ★★★★★ We have camped at Greeter Falls Campground 3 times now and each time we talk about about how much we love the campground (primitive area)! This is our go to place for a weekend camping trip with our two young boys. The grounds are always clean and the staff is so friendly. They’re located right next to a bunch of trails with waterfalls and we love the accessibility of hiking during the day. We plan to go again and again because we enjoy it so much there. 100% recommend to families for camping! Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value.
  207. ★★★★★ VacationSolo. I stayed at an RV site in my truck. Campground is very clean, as well as the bath houses. Seems like they have plenty for kids to do. the staff that I talked to were extremely friendly and helpful very accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying at this campground. Each site had plenty of room, not packed in like a KOA. I hope to come by again and stay longer.
  208. ★★★★★ VacationFamily. Can’t say enough nice things about this place. The location was amazing, the staff was great and friendly. I arrived a bit late and was waited on by Tommy and Char. Met Robert a day or two later and had a small conversation, made sure everything was ok and gave me some recommendations on what to expect on each nearby trail. I ended up at this place by doing some research on nature retreats in TN to avoid the mistake I made last time of going to Gatlinburg. Greeter falls was beautiful, boardtree was so worth the hike for the majestic views at the top. If you rent a tent site, make sure you get a platform if there’s any chance of rain, or you’ll end up in a bit of a muddy mess. I can’t forget shootouts to Toby, aka Patty (meow).
  209. ★★★★★ Awesome place.
  210. ★★★★★ Perfect Group Getaway Spot With pets Area A: Tent Sites: Deluxe Family. What a beautiful place!! We can’t wait to come back in the spring to visit with our friends<3.
  211. ★★★★★ We were exploring south western Tennessee in our camper van and decided to visit the Greeter Falls area. We arrived just days before Greeter Falls campground opened, but Matt graciously found us a campsite for the night. Bathrooms were clean and nicely laid out. Loved the dog park because our Duke always travels with us. Definitely will stay at Greeter Falls Campground on our next visit to the area. Looking forward to seeing their new cabins finished too.
  212. ★★★★★ Wonderful. Loved our smash burgers when we were too exhausted to cook. Quiet and peaceful. We will be back.
  213. ★★★★★ Camped in primitive tent site – picnic table was not really usable – a recycled circular cable holder – not sturdy – not really a level spot to set up tent – the bathhouse was clean and had nice hot showers – the facility overall is very nice and my particular primitive site was not in keeping with the rest of facility
  214. ★★★★ Staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. Campsites were closer together than I like and there were thorn bushes all around the edges of the campsites but that was the only issue. Hard to have dogs and kids walking around your campsite due to that.
  215. ★★★★★ Fantastic campground with spacious private spaces, clean bathhouse facilities, activities, and a little restaurant grille. Very close to the trailhead to enter Savage Gulf State Park.
  216. ★★★★★ My family stayed this past weekend and everything was so great! Clean, well cared for, the nicest staff, great accommodations and amazing trails walking distance. Pet friendly, we loved being able to bring our fur baby! Highly recommend!!
  217. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  218. ★★★★★ Our family had a beautiful weekend! We loved being able to walk to the grill and camp store. We had some of the best cheese burgers! Easy drive to the falls, and having a dollar general market 2 miles away was a plus. We will definitely be back!
  219. ★★★★ Everything was just okay with our stay. Camp neighbors were very loud, playing music loudly, shooting bbguns or paintballs, couldn’t really tell. Sights are super close so laying in the tent you can hear word for word the conversations at the sight next to you. Not secluded enough. If you want a get away from reality and an escape in the woods i wouldn’t recommend this campground.
  220. ★★★★★ All the camp ground host were fantastic! They really want to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Sites are well maintained, shaded, and not on top of each other!
  221. ★★★★★ Great location. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Smash burgers were on point. Our group had a great time. We will be back.
  222. ★★★★★ Staff was so kind and welcoming! Everything was clean and well taken care of! The bathrooms and shower were clean! The smashbugers at the grill were so delicious!! Also the community campfire was wonderful! Definitely recommend.
  223. ★★★★★ Had an amazing time that I am going back next weekend.
  224. ★★★★★ We are newbies to camping and when we were given a tent spot, we realized our car tent would not fit in the spot, they were wonderful in helping us move to a spot that would fit our jeep and tent. The woman in the camp store gave us some very good suggestions on our hike that we were going on. The manager was very nice also. I would highly recommend Greeter Falls Campground!
  225. ★★★★★ The Campground was in a good location and it was close to hiking trails.
  226. ★★★★★ Wonderful staff, very helpful and knowledgeable. Camp site was clean and well maintained
  227. ★★★★★ Ease of access, wonderful hosts, clean bath houses, plentiful campsites. The entire stay was a blast and for a first time camper a wonderful experience! Would highly recommend staying here, anytime!
  228. ★★★★★ Hosts were amazingly responsive and accommodating during a rainy winter checkin.
  229. ★★★★★ Great spaces out spots. Clean grounds.
  230. ★★★★★ Beautiful and clean campgrounds beautiful nature trails great stay
  231. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  232. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  233. ★★★★★ Loved this place! Sites were wooded and secluded, restrooms very clean and the staff was super friendly! I highly recommend!!
  234. ★★★★★ Friendly and helpful staff! The bathhouse is as clean and nice as any I have seen at any campground. The children’s activity center and movie night on weekends is a big hit!
  235. ★★★★★ Good service, good amenities.
  236. ★★★★★ Great campground! Within walking distance to several trails in the state park. Clean bathhouse, friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be back!
  237. ★★★★★ This is one of my favorite campgrounds in Tennessee. Owners are nice, facilities are clean and it is close to many hiking opportunites.
  238. ★★★★★ Vacation · Family. This is our second trip to this campground and it was a wonderful stay yet again. We stayed during Thanksgiving and ended up leaving a day early as it was super cold and I was ready to get home to my bed. As we were at the dump station I noticed we had a flat tire so I called the front desk and the gentleman that was working went to his house and got his air compressor and filled our tire up. Such great customer service. Unfortunately we didn’t get the burgers as they were closed. But they were delish last time and we can’t wait till summer to come back.
  239. ★★★★★ Tent · Group trip · Glamping: 16′ x 16′ Furnished Yurt. We had the best time !!!! It was perfect the Yort was spacious the amenities were great. Bathrooms are clean showers gave nice hot water. It was peaceful and we created a beautiful moment we will remember forever. Will go again! Oh I forgot to mention the wonderful trails and saw all the beauty nature had to offer us. 10/10 loved it !! Didn’t want to go back. Wish I stayed longer.
  240. ★★★★★ 29 ft travel trailer · With pets ·RV: Standard (non-FHU) RV Sites. Such a quiet, relaxing, family friendly spot. Will definitely be back and bring with us!
  241. ★★★★★ Great campground that is well maintained with a very friendly staff.
  242. ★★★★★ My wife, daughter and I enjoyed our stay in a Yurt over the weekend. We found everything to be convenient and nice. I do think the beds in the Yurt could be upgraded but overall it was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Greeter Falls Campground.
  243. ★★★★★ Vacation · Solo. This is a really easy campground to enter, navigate and leave. They have a dog park that is on the larger side. They are exactly where you want to be if you want to hike. Whether it be a longer hike or a shorter hike. We were very happy about this area. The campground is divided up so the sites are not on top of each other. It seems to be a more of a secluded area where I feel very safe.
  244. ★★★★★ Vacation · Family. We wanted a cold tent camping experience and that is what we got. Such friendly hosts and they helped us make this weekend so very special.
  245. ★★★★★ Vacation · Couple. This location beyond exceeded our expectations. We have absolutely loved our mid November stay. The amenities, free wifi, space, cleanliness, exceptional and helpful staff, coupled with the convenience of the Campsite Store, Bath House, and “The Greeter Grill” on site providing excellent smash burgers among other menu items such as awesome beer battered chicken tenders, have made for a wonderful fun experience. Our clean site space provided water and electricity for our RV and was nice and spacious for our rig. We are thrilled with the “camping in the woods” feeling and the beauty of our surroundings. We have been so very comfortable. Additionally, we love that this campground is pet friendly. We very much enjoyed the hiking loops that showcased the amazing falls, and we got some excellent photo memories. Having a dump station available on site is great for heading home with the RV cleaned out. Both my husband and I highly recommend Greeter Falls Campground and will be back for a visit, hopefully this spring. Noteworthy details: An affordable campground with the “you are in the woods” feeling that provides for almost every need you might have during your stay. No pavement camping here, which is beautiful. The close proximity to hiking and the falls was our initial draw… but the amenities and staff were the cherry on top! Love it!!!
  246. ★★★★★ The Greeter Grill was such an awesome, delicious surprise after hiking! Cool to find in the middle of the woods!! Home made cooking in the wilderness. Love, love, loved it! 😍
  247. ★★★★★ 30 ft travel trailer · Group trip · RV: FHU Pull Through. Lovely campground with great people! Highly reccomend.
  248. ★★★★★ (no review)
  249. ★★★★★ I had an amazing experience camping here. The scenery is beautiful, and the staff is very welcoming and hospitable, the shower house is clean and updated. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves a good camp spot and some breathtaking scenery.
  250. ★★★★ Enjoyed the “deep forest” feel. Host drove by to see if we needed anything. Site was too sloped sideways to level with Anderson wedges. 25 ft trailer backed in fully, could not reach water spigot w 25ft hose, needed extension. WiFi was strong and allowed video streaming.
  251. ★★★★★ Great campground that is well maintained with a very friendly staff.
  252. ★★★★ Everything offered by the campground was excellent but the only issue were the other visitors. It was 11:30Pm and I still could not go to sleep because everyone around my tent was being super loud, talking and laughing very loud. I would come back but I would report these type of situations next time!
  253. ★★★★★ We really enjoyed this campground. That rustic feel was great and the staff were very nice. One of our favorite places so far.
  254. ★★★★★ We had an amazing weekend at this campground. Rented one of their yurts. Beds were comfy and it was so serene and quiet at night (until our truck died and wouldn’t stop with the security alarm, our apologies to anyone who was there.) But maintenance helped us. Bath houses very clean and office very helpful. The falls are beautiful to hike to. Will definitely be back!
  255. ★★★★★ My wife and I drove down here from Missouri, we arrived late and realized the tent we brought was too big for the primitive camp site we had reserved. Camp host Matthew had been there after normal working hours, and helped us with making new arrangements. My wife and I decided that we would try out one of the yurts they had to offer for a few nights. Although they did have camp sites big enough for the tent we brought. We got all set up, it was beautiful. We had arrived there at night so we did not know what it looked like in the daylight. At night they have the dog park and pavilion lit up and it is amazing! Woke up to a beautiful fall morning!! Overall we are very happy with the place, the employees are asking for feedback on pros and cons as well, and that tells me that they are there to make your stay better, and they keep improving the place for you! Even if you don’t decide to stay there, TRY I repeat TRY! The burger joint they have there at the main office area!!  If you have time, ask the cowboy cook about their testimony and who they help out with the proceeds. Your heart needs to hear it I promise! It’s decent, wheelchair ramp to shower/bathroom. Just a short distance to greeter falls trailhead. ( A must see)
  256. ★★★★★ Tent · Group trip · Tent Sites: Deluxe Family/Group. This campground had nice amenities! A water spigot, outlets for charging phones, bathrooms and showers within walking distance. They are very close to other campsites so definitely not a place to go if you want relaxation and peace and quiet. But the staff were very friendly and it’s a beautiful area, especially during the fall. I would stay again!
  257. ★★★★★ 23 ft travel trailer · RV: Specialty (Dog Park) RV Sites. Sites with private dog park is a fantastic way to travel with dogs. Sites are more private than State Parks.
  258. ★★★★★ Tent · Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. Quiet, super clean bath house. We completely enjoyed ourselves.
  259. ★★★★★ Tent · With pets · Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. This is my 4th time at greeter falls. Everytime has been great! We’ve done primitive, a yurt, an rv slip and this time a solo/duo campsite for my son’s birthday trip. We were blessed with all the fall leaves and a short storm that kept things cool without being too much! My son loved the greeter grill and bon fire. Just an overnight but was great getting away from town for a bit. Our new dog absolutely loved the trip too.
  260. ★★★★★ Tent · Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. we had a blast! was fairly secluded, had neighbors but space between. we had a flat tire and the camp staff graciously helped up blow it back up. would stay again!
  261. ★★★★★ Tent · With pets · Tent Sites: Deluxe Family/Group. We really enjoyed our time at Greeter Falls! It had a very welcoming environment! The dog park was a very nice perk as well! Bathrooms were very clean and the entrance to the falls about a half a mile walk from the campsite!
  262. ★★★★★ 34 ft travel trailer · RV: Standard (non-FHU) RV Sites. We loved it !! So quaint and relaxing. Would definitely recommend!
  263. ★★★★★ 24 ft pop-up camper · With pets · RV: Standard (non-FHU) RV Sites. Lovely little camp community! We liked the proximity to so many trails and falls! Also, the campsite has a lot of amenities such as a little grill (open weekends) a clean bath house and a dog park. Staff was super friendly.
  264. ★★★★★ 34 ft travel trailer · RV: Standard (non-FHU) RV Sites. We loved it !! So quaint and relaxing. Would definitely recommend!
  265. ★★★ Mixed feelings. Tent · With kids · Glamping: 16′ x 16′ Furnished Yurt. Great location. Yurt was clean and spacious. But they are so close together that you’re really on top of each other. There were also dogs deeper in the campground barking all night. Not ideal for family camping. Overall I’d definitely come back with a group of friends to rent all 4 yurts, but not as a solo.
  266. ★★★★★ Tent · With pets · Tent Sites: Deluxe Family/Group. Greeter Falls was a great time! The camp hosts were so helpful and wonderful, and we loved our time there.
  267. ★★★★ My wife and I chose to stay here at primitive site #2 for a couple of nights. The primitive area is not as secluded as we expected it to be. I would say the folks camping beside us were about 25 feet away from our site.  Lots of people staying here that don’t respect the quiet hours, which is absolutely nothing against the owners. The store and bathhouse are very nice, and a short distance from the campsite. The Greeter Falls trailhead and others were just a half a mile walk from our site, too.
  268. ★★★★★ It was only a mile to the trailhead for the Falls greeter Falls. Greeter Falls is a must see waterfall. Not real good for small kids. The hosts of the campground were fantastic. Very friendly very helpful. The grill is a hotspot and a must do.highly recommend this campsite. The grill there is legendary
  269. ★★★★ Camped one night in the primitive area. Would have been a much better stay if there weren’t dogs barking ALL night. The small hikes were perfect for our family. Two adults and a 5 year old girl. With 2 small dogs. As far as difficulty goes they were perfect. Bath house was nice to have. And was clean. The small city of altamont was a cute little city to visit. there’s a good little restaurant there and coffee shop. Overall, it was a fun little trip for us.
  270. ★★★★★ Great place for hiking, and camping with the family!
  271. ★★★★★ Always love staying at Greeter Falls Campground. Great facility, super clean, and family friendly! You can walk to the falls from the property and a short drive to Stone Door and other great attractions. Would highly recommend!
  272. ★★★★★ We loved this spot! We took our pop up here due to proximity to falls and trail in Savage Gulf State Park. This was a great home base to hit the trails but also a great spot to hang! The bathhouse is super clean, grounds are very well kept, and the staff is very friendly. Bonus: they serve great burgers and other food on the weekends from the little grill on site. Definitely recommend!
  273. ★★★★★ VacationFamily. Great camp very close to Greeter Falls. Easy walk to the falls and around the campsite. Great value
  274. ★★★★★ We come every fall! Great hiking near by. Campsite is set up nicely. Clean bathrooms, electricity and good WiFi. Highly recommend.
  275. ★★★★★ This was a great new campsite that we met some friends at. While it was more expensive than other campsites we’ve stayed at, they had a cute little grill that had burgers and that was nice to have as an option after a hike to the falls. There looked like there were some fun activities posted in the bathroom, as well as a children’s area that our kids liked to go to. The bathrooms were clean, and had 2 showers. The road is gravel, so we didn’t bring our bikes, but some people next to us did have bikes and didn’t seem to have a problem.
  276. ★★★★★ We loved our week at site 62. The only issue we had was the firepit area; the ground was not level. Fix this issue and the site would be perfect. We enjoyed the smash burgers at the Greeter Grill. They were excellent! The bathhouse was always clean with plenty of hot water. The campstore was very convenient to get firewood and ice. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. Location was great for trailheads and hiking. Limited places to go grocery shopping or restaurants in the immediate area.
  277. ★★★★★ We came across this campsite and loved it! Very peaceful , nice staff and clean camp site!! Only thing is there should be more than 1 bath house . Especially with the size of the campsite. Overall beautiful campsite and awesome hike to the waterfall!
  278. ★★★★★ Loved This Campground and The People!  We can’t say enough about our entire experience @ Greeter Falls Campground! All of the campsites are nestled in among the trees, which we came to find out was by design. Robert wanted to keep as much of the landscape untouched as possible. Everyone was kind and so pleasant to be around! This makes the all-around experience even better. The shower house was clean and the property well-maintained. Across from the campstore is the “Greeter Grill” where they serve a variety of delish smash burgers, chili, hot dogs and fries. (Great food and service). Behind the office is like a community area with a fire pit, hammocks and a seating are with a large screen. The night we were there, they were playing a Tennessee Game.
  279. ★★★★★ RV: Specialty (Dog Park) RV Sites. 16 ft travel trailer. Great place! Love the private dog park. Friendly staff.
  280. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Family/Group. Loved camping here! Had easy access to bathrooms, camp office/store, and wifi. The trailhead was only about a mile down.
  281. ★★★★★ A perfect place for unplugging and being a part of nature for a while in a community of likeminded camping people. If you’re looking for a little more roughing it than a KOA but not so much as backpacking, this is the perfect spot for you!
  282. ★★★★★ The campground is neat and quiet.  The restrooms are clean. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, the lock on the restroom is difficult to read. Seniors need big print. Furthermore, the restroom appears to have been made without enough space for easy movement in the stalls; there is inadequate space for a large man egress.
  283. ★★★★★ Glamping: 16′ x 16′ Furnished Yurt. Bringing in 40 with style! This place was great! It was kept up very well and had all the basic amenities needed for a weekend of camping. “The Village” had large military barracks style tents that were perfect for the 4 adults and two kids. Very family friendly with hammocks already set up, chairs, a sandbox, a swing set and a Ninja Warrior course for the kids! There was a communal fire pit and individual ones for each site. Location was an easy walk to the Greeter Falls trailhead and a short 20 min to Sutter Falls.
  284. ★★★★★ Greeter Falls campground is clean, well organized and the staff are very welcoming and kind. We enjoyed the falling leaves, the nearby hiking and this peaceful part of Tennessee. Highly recommended!
  285. ★★★★★ The campground is very clean and everyone is super friendly. The sites have a lot of trees to give you a good impression of camping in the woods. We took our children with, ages 17, 5, 4, and 3. It was the first time camping and hiking for the little ones. But we were able to hike from the campground to the trailhead, then on to the Lower Greeter Falls (and back of course)! We will definitely be keeping this campground on our list of places to visit again!
  286. ★★★★★ By far my favorite campground yet! We stayed in one of the yurts, and it was perfect for two people. All of the staff, including the owner, are beyond friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The bathhouses are clean, and the onsite Grill uses all locally sourced ingredients to make the food, and it was fabulous! They do a community campfire every Saturday night, which was probably our favorite part of the whole trip. They have worked very hard to make every inch of this place feel cozy and inviting, and it definitely is! Will for sure be visiting again soon!
  287. ★★★ Very rustic. Porta Johns for public use down at overflow parking area. (review from a non-camping guest who was visiting the state park. We provide Porta-potties at no charge for hikers at the park)
  288. ★★★★★ Thank you for the great camping experience in the hurricane! Clean and a neat place to stay! We will return! 5 star in my book!
  289. ★★★★ This is a beautiful campground that is wooded and has sites that are private. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had site #66. Our site was challenging to get in. Also the fire pit was directly behind our camper . It was too close, so we couldn’t use the fire pit . I’d definitely return, but would not choose this site again.
  290. ★★★★★ Vacation · Couple. We stayed two nights and it was great! Everyone we met at the campground was super friendly. Bathhouse was clean and well kept. The Grill on site had awesome smash burgers and fries. Super friendly owners. Our campsite was on a bit of a slope and we were in a 10 person tent so no good way to level it out. Regardless, the site was really well kept with a picnic table, fire ring, electrical/water hook up and trash bin. Super easy walk from site #65 to the store, grill and bathhouse area. Close enough to also walk to Greeter Falls trailhead (there’s a nice parking lot there as well). Toby the cat was super adorable and friendly too! I absolutely recommend this campground and will return! Great view, Kid-friendly, Great value.
  291. ★★★★★ Tent Sites:  Solo/Duo. Accessibility to just about everything , hiking trails , falls, stores and local eatery’s with awesome food on site. Quiet peaceful and somewhat secluded , hosts were amazing, kind and accommodating. Will go back many times.‘
  292. ★★★ We really enjoyed our stay at your campground. Your whole staff was friendly and helpful, the campsites were clean, and the bathrooms were great-good water pressure and temperature for showers. We will be back. There were a few negatives. The campsites were not level and were difficult to park on. Some were pretty small, too. We enjoyed ourselves with the proximity to Savage Gulf, but I wanted to give you our honest opinion.
  293. ★★★★★ We had a great time staying there at the Greeter Falls campground! The bathrooms were clean and everyone was very friendly! Very peaceful!
  294. ★★★ Vacation · Friends. Really like location of campsite but did not enjoy no sleep for 2 night because dogs barked all night we had a big group had 3 sites and at all sites could hear dog all night would like to come back and enjoy the hiking and fishing with a full night rest.
  295. ★★★★★ Thank you for the great camping experience in the hurricane! Clean and a neat place to stay! We will return! 5 star in my book!
  296. ★★★★★ Group trip · Glamping: 11’x11′ Furnished Yurt. I absolutely loved camping at Greeter Falls. The staff was so incredibly helpful and kind. A big shoutout to Matthew, for going above and beyond fantastic customer service. I highly recommend this campground, if you are looking for a family friendly outdoor experience.
  297. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Deluxe Family/Group. Lovely Campground. I loved my Delux tent site #4 and then #3. There were trees for my tarp to cover the tent. Close to very clean Porta potties easy to find at night. I appreciated the hot shower, flush toilet, clean. Shop had yummy cookies that day. Lisa was helpful. I was invited to the 3rd Thursday gathering and I had already eaten. Everyone so friendly and helpful. Some regulars frequent the site. I can see why. Peaceful, green and delightful.
  298. ★★★★ People are very friendly, there was a campfire on Saturday night so we got to sit around and meet new people which was fun. The bathrooms are neat and clean. The little grill is great, delicious burgers including vegetarian options. There is a store with essentials one may have forgotten. The RV sites are still a little close for my liking. We had neighbors on both sides. The sites are narrow so when you step out of the RV, you immediately have a hill. Ot was difficult to really open up awning to create a level outside space. Overall we’d stay there again, maybe call ahead to get a better site.
  299. ★★★★★ VacationCouple. We absolutely LOVED our 5 days at Greeter Falls Campground! Everyone we encountered from check-in to check-out was pleasant, helpful, and kind. The grounds are pristine and well-equipped for tents, campers, rv’s etc…, with hook-ups if needed. The wifi connection was strong. The little store offers snacks, drinks, firewood and other assorted items. The Greeter Grill offers a variety of food, and smelled wonderful, although we cooked at our campsite. The bathrooms are secure, clean, and had plenty of hot water. The location is within walking distance to a few different trail heads, and a short drive to many others I highly recommend this campground!
  300. ★★★★★ VacationCouple. Beautiful campground with perfect spacing of vehicles to allow privacy and quiet! Lots of wonderful trails and nature to be enjoyed, highly recommended. Great view, Romantic, Quiet.
  301. ★★★★★ Vacation. Absolutely incredible views, sites, camp store, bathrooms and best burger joint but the staff…. Out of this world! We rented a military style tent since we are avid campers but flew from out of state. It was amazing!! Walk to hike, falls, the woods, bathrooms, burger shack. Most amazing couple run this amazing burger joint! Everything is right there and amazing staff. Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly.
  302. ★★★★★ VacationFamily. Greeter Falls Campground was a great camping experience. We stayed for 7 days with full hook up. Seeing the area geography is a great way to spend time. Hiking, caverns, sightseeing. The campground is rugged and very ‘woodsy’. The staff are very nice. The campground does community minded events. Highly recommend Greeter Falls Campground.
  303. ★★★★★ VacationSolo. Great directions, host was helpful, responded quickly to my questions. I loved Site 4 and later site 3. Close to clean Porta potties. Deluxe includes hot shower and flush toilet. Trees so could string my tarp. Electricity and water shared between #3,#4. Fire ring. Shop had yummy fresh cookies. Staff are happy and friendly. They have a gathering 3rd Thursday. Site 34 has the wood platform. Mine was primitive, ground. Popular place with repeat campers. Quiet. Romantic, Quiet, Great value
  304. ★★★★★ Wonderful rustic campground. Camp staff are wonderful! Definitely worth reserving the sites with the dog park.
  305. ★★★★★ We enjoyed our stay with you. We were disappointed that the local waterfalls were dry, but that’s on mother nature. We stayed in site 69. It would be nice if the pad was level side to side. It would make setup a little quicker. The site was easy to park the 5th wheel and had ample space for the tow vehicle. All connections were located in a good location for easy connection of water, power, and sewer. The staff were friendly and polite. Although we didn’t eat at the grill, it’s a nice touch.
  306. ★★★★★ (no review)
  307. ★★★★★ First time I went on a solo camp so was a bit nervous but couldn’t help that the weather was perfect, I had to go outside! Wasn’t expecting such an amazing experience with my stay. Extremely easy to find, even easier to reach out with any questions as I got there a little early and couldn’t check in at the office. They returned my call and were so kind! They dropped off the firewood I bought about an hour later, super kind guy. The portable bathrooms were, and I’m not kidding, the cleanest ones I’ve ever used and I’ve seen so many. The bathhouse, the community area, the store, all of it was extremely charming, clean and inviting. I was not expecting to experience such a cute community with my small 24 hour excursion. Thank you greeter falls campground, I WILL be returning as soon as I can!
  308. ★★★★★ VacationFamily. Beautiful quaint campground. The staff is all very nice, the campsites are pretty spacious and well taken care of, and our dog really enjoyed the dog park. The nearby hikes (within walking distance) are awesome. We will definitely be coming back! Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value
  309. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. Greeter Falls is a stunning spot for nature lovers, offering a mix of rugged beauty and serene landscapes.
  310. ★★★★★ Glamping: 16′ x 16′ Furnished Yurt. We really enjoyed the weekend despite the rain. Staff was very friendly and the yurt was really nice! We will definitely be coming back!
  311. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. Had such an amazing time! Had to leave early for personal reasons but everyone there was so nice!
  312. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Family/Group. Amazing stress free camping! We had an amazing time! The entire camp was clean and well kept. The owner and all of the workers there were extremely friendly and accommodating. We will absolutely be back and recommend trying out a campsite for an awesome adventure!!!!
  313. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Deluxe Family/Group. Great Camping Site. The camp area was nice the tent area was smooth making the floor nice to sleep on for those not using air mattresses. The only issue we had were the ports potties vs actual toilets and 3 camp sites sharing an electric pole vs one each. But those were very VERY minor issues. We had a great time at our site.
  314. ★★★★★ Our family loved staying at this campground. Tucked away and peaceful, clean bathroom facilities and access to great hiking trails. Definitely recommend and would come back again! Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly
  315. ★★★★★ Vacation · Family. So they ask you about the rooms the service and the location on this review I can honestly give each one of the five the campsite was wonderful and well kept the service was awesome couldn’t ask for better people to be around and the location well I mean who can beat the waterfalls and the blue hole. But I found so much more. I never knew how contagious happiness could be. But I promise if you come here you’ll see how quick it spreads. I just want to thank Matthew the manager and all the staff for being so friendly and kind to me and my son we will definitely be back ❤️❤️❤️ Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly
  316. ★★★★★ I don’t know how I happened on this place, but I was sure fortunate to find it. This campground is in a beautiful mountain that has everything you need. This campground is really well managed nicest people ever. Can’t wait till I return plus walking to the Falls was a lot of fun. Great view, Quiet, Great value
  317. ★★★★★ Beautiful campground with amazing staff! The sites are clean and well spaced out. Tons of shade. The bath house is the cleanest I have ever seen. All the staff members we encountered were so kind. The campground is super close to several amazing waterfall hikes. Would definitely recommend Greeter Falls Campground. Also, be sure to check out the on-site Greeter Grill for some delicious smash burgers. We will be back!
  318. ★★★★★ We recently too a trip to Altamont, TN. @greeterfalls campground was the perfect spot to set-up camp as well could take our time to explore the area, jump in what’s left of the waterfalls and trek over 20 miles.
  319. ★★★★★ (no review)
  320. ★★★★★ They have the best smash burgers!! I would definitely recommend this place. The savage gulf area is beautiful.
  321. ★★★★★ Very cute and quaint campground! Lots of hospitality! Our kids enjoyed the outdoor movie and little ropes course area. Be sure to grab a smash burger; they are amazing! The sites are shaded and spacious compared to most.
  322. ★★★★★ VacationFamily. Quiet campground. Nice community feel. Quiet, Kid-friendly
  323. ★★★★ VacationCouple. Great location! The Camp hosts Jen and Harry are fantastic! The electric and water were between two sites on the wrong side of my camper and I needed extra power and water hose to reach. Harry generously let me use an extra water hose and power cord that he had for my 30 amp trailer.  Also, the sites are not level, so be prepared to lift one side of your trailer as much as five or 6 inches. Not a big deal if you know that in advance. The Wi-Fi at our spot was excellent! Able to watch streaming TV was a luxury.
  324. ★★★★★ VacationCouple. The location was right near great trails. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Campsite clean & easy to get too. Will definitely be coming back. Quiet, Great value
  325. ★★★★★ VacationSolo. Really amazing place. Went there for 2 nights by myself. Great location, easy to find and Mathew was really helpful answering questions! I would definitely recommend the greeter falls hike. Would 100% stay again. Great view, Great value
  326. ★★★★★ Glamping: 11’x11′ Furnished Yurt. Would recommend. Loved the location. Short walk to the falls. Quiet. Genuinely really bathroom. Super friendly staff.
  327. ★★★★★ Glamping: 16′ x 16′ Furnished Yurt. SO peaceful and so nice! Everyone on staff was so friendly and welcoming! Yurt was awesome and spacious and site was clean and nice! We had an awesome time and already want to plan a family trip back!!
  328. ★★★★★ We were visiting friends in Coalmont so this location was really handy! Our 33’ fifth wheel fit just fine. Any longer and you need to check which site you are booked for. Friendly staff. I love that the have a trash can at each site. Very quiet setting!
  329. ★★★★ The campground is beautiful. The only thing we noticed was, the camp sites and dog park areas had a lot of brush and debris. The camp sites aren’t very level and some sites had rv hook ups on the opposite side but we were still happy with our stay and would go again.
  330. ★★★★★ Loved this little quiet slice of heaven! We can’t say enough good things about this campground and all the workers we met! Very friendly, had a nice big community fire pit where they roasted marshmallows. We made it a little late to the party but will be attending the next one on our next camping trip we are already planning! HIGHLY recommend staying here!
  331. ★★★★★ My family and I had a wonderful time at the Greeter Falls Campground. The grounds were picturesque and located amid tall trees. We felt as if we were truly in the forest camping (even though we had an RV). The bathhouse was close and always very clean and smelled wonderful. I would very much recommend everyone try this campground when in Tennessee!
  332. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Family/Group. My family and I had a great time we can’t wait to explore and find more
  333. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. Best vacation ever!  My son and I really enjoyed the trails the beautiful water falls and camping under the stars and had to catch the NRRA races. We always enjoy the southern hospitality of the locals and will be coming back every year but for a week cause there was so much more to do that we couldn’t get to for just a weekend stay.
  334. ★★★★★  I found this lovely place due to being flooded at another campsite an hour away. This place was highly recommended by the owners of the first location. Upon arrival, we were able to tour the campsite and find the perfect spot for my friends and me. We chose a platform that fit our two 4-person tents perfectly. The campsite even came with two hammocks that were the most comfortable hammocks ever!  The grounds were beautiful and well-kept, and the bathrooms were always clean and stocked. On the first night, we spoke with the cook and cashier at the grill, and all of our food tasted amazing. We ate at the picnic community hangout area, which was lovely at night. Despite the rain every single day of the week we were there, we still had an amazing time. The staff were polite and helpful, and we enjoyed hiking the local waterfalls. Just a piece of advice – there are no big grocery stores around. We had to go to Dollar General for groceries, which didn’t have the best selection. I recommend stocking up at Walmart, Publix, or Kroger before coming to this site as there is nothing around.  We are so excited to come back again next year! Highly recommend this location!!!!! So many hiking places. Some hiking spots are rigorous. Don’t hike in flip flops. Wear bug spray. Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value.
  335. ★★★★★ Loved the little grill and food, and the campground is quiet and clean!! Love how there are trash cans at each site.
  336. ★★★★ (no review)
  337. ★★★★★ VacationFriends. Very well run campground with top notch customer service. Bathroom is very clean. It is little expensive for a primitive campground. Greeter falls a short drive away. It was magical with a nice swimming hole. Quiet
  338. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Deluxe Family/Group. Amazing campsite!! This campsite was deff the best campsite I’ve been to. Super clean and litt up with lights, the area we had our tent set up was perfect! The bugs were not bad at all. There was an outlet post and water spicket near the tent. Also we had an outdoor shower close by, which was awesome. The water was great as well. The stars at night were gorgeous, as well as the waterfalls nearby were a great hike and swim spot. The manager Matt on site was very kind and helpful and showed up everything. I would deff recommend this area, and will be coming back:)
  339. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. It was a very cute and nice camp spot. Not as secluded as the pictures look, other camp sites were right next to us and if booked it wouldn’t be very secluded. Amazing site and the showers and bathrooms were very clean!
  340. ★★★★ Staff is always friendly, the snack shack has great food from scratch, and the hiking is fantastic. Great view, Great value
  341. ★★★★★ (no review)
  342. ★★★★ I’m giving 4 stars because the area honestly sketched me out, it was a bit too “south” for me honestly but the campground itself was beautiful and tucked off in a very quiet area! Staff were very very friendly and accommodating! There’s a super cute dog that walks around and greets guests and it’s so close to several trails/waterfalls which is a huge bonus! Bath House is cute. Outdoor area is cute. We were looking forward to smore night but ended up leaving a day early! 😩 All in all a super cute place with really nice staff and a nice vibe! Only other thing I’d recommend is making sure to put the address in GPS properly! 😄
  343. ★★★★★ We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Greeter Falls Campground! The staff there is great and they went above and beyond to accommodate any needs we had. The campsites are spread out nicely with a natural setting among the trees. Bathhouses were clean. The onsite grill was a nice surprise with fresh, quality ingredients in all of their menu items. The location is very convenient for numerous great hiking trails nearby. We will definitely plan a return trip.
  344. ★★★★★ Family Vacation. Great campground with friendly staff. Very accommodating and overall a nice peaceful place to stay. Love the onsite grill. Good hiking and nice scenery. Close to the hiking trails. Quiet, Great value
  345. ★★★★★ The folks were very friendly and accommodating. The sites were well kept spacious easy to maneuver. Will totally encourage all my camping friends to stop at this place and I will surely be back again. Thank you very much. God bless.
  346. ★★★★★ (no review)
  347. ★★★★★ Vacation with friends. All around great place to camp in the mountains. Amazing staff, and amazing trails with in walking distance. Great food fresh and hot, made with love. Will be coming back. 10 out of 10. Trails, swimming hole, water falls. Fresh hot food with outstanding flavor. Great view, Quiet, Great value.
  348. ★★★★★ VacationFriends. Very friendly staff. Great camping spots for tents and the recreation area is VERY NICE! The bathrooms are clean as well.
  349. ★★★★★ What an amazing hidden gem. If you have dogs, there is no better spot. Many sites have a private fenced in area and then in the community area, there is another shaded dog park. The owners and all the workers were so kind. Don’t sleep on the grill, the smash burgers were super tasty and fresh. The mushroom burger was overflowing with mushrooms and the homemade chips had a hint of rosemary and yummy dill sauce. The campground is seconds from amazing trails, waterfalls and swimming hole. The kids enjoyed the play area and painting rocks. On Saturday there is a community campfire which was a delight. The girls wanted to make this an annual trip. We originally found this place as proximity to Murfreesboro DCI competition. We hope to come back another year and bring more family! Thank you!
  350. ★★★★★ I loved the setup of the campground. The spot I had in the primitive area was perfect. The bathhouse was nice.I liked the fire ring with the moveable grate. Bonus : The awesome Greeter falls trails were a 1/3 mile walk.If back in the area I would definitely stay here again.
  351. ★★★★★ Cute campsite! The staff was incredibly friendly, the grounds and bathrooms stayed clean. If you’re looking for a place near a waterfall, this is it! The hike down can be difficult for some, but if you take your time and lots of water, you’ll make it.
  352. ★★★ Tent Sites: Deluxe Family/Group. The campground and the bathrooms are nice. what you book in the descriptions do not match it’s best if you call ahead.
  353. ★★★★★ Sites: Deluxe Family/Group. It is super quiet and quite beautiful not the best if you are handicap though unfortunately bur definitely a must go to site for camping!
  354. ★★★★★ VacationFriends. Fantastic campground with nice sites, plenty of woods between sites. Did not feel like we were right on top of other campers. Was only there during the week, did not get to try the food that is on the property. Neat fenced off dog park for the doggos, nice activity area and disc golf was fun. Short drive to trailheads and hiking trails to waterfalls. Neat little towns within a short drive either direction.
  355. ★★★★★ Awesome campground. Amazing staff! LOVE THIS PLACE! Amazing hiking close by. Dog friendly. Clean bathrooms. Relaxing vibe. Good space between sites.
  356. ★★★★★ Outstanding. Limitless beauty, clean sites, friendly staff.
  357. ★★★★★ Super nice campground, great community, verrrry nice bathroom and showers. I love how close it is to the falls and the hiking trails. It rained all weekend we were camping and the on site grill was a life saver.
  358. ★★★★★ This campground was a very nice escape from home. We spent most of our time driving around to all the local hiking trails and ventured off to Chattanooga. The primitive sites were nice, didn’t expect much considering those are minimalist sites. We enjoyed the Saturday s’more’s night and all the amenities that were here especially the hot showers after all of our hikes was very refreshing.
  359. ★★★★★ Vacation · Family. The best campground! We camped three nights here and had a wonderful time. We were in a 20′ ft. trailer and had full hookup at site #42. We had a ton of space and privacy. All the spots are almost full shade. Verizon service was great. T-Mobile was poor. The campground has a cute store and a grill where you can get the best mushroom and onion smash burger! (open weekends) Everyone we met were very friendly and helpful. The campground is within walking distance of Greeter Falls waterfall trail, Boardtree waterfall, and blue hole swimming hole. The trails are dog friendly but there is a very narrow spiral staircase which we carried our dogs down. I would also recommend checking out The Caverns which is 30 minute drive from the campground. Concerts in a cave! The kids will love the Saturday nights at the campground with the campfire and marshmallows. Pros – Friendly people, clean showers, lots of shade and privacy, dog parks, trash cans on site with daily clean-up. Swings! Activity center with movies and board games, store and the amazing grill. I’m not sure if they spray for bugs, but we were not “bugged” the entire time we stayed…in July…in the rain. Improvements: Some of the sites are in need of more gravel as they are a bit muddy. I saw big piles of gravel, so I’m assuming that’s work in progress. WiFi didn’t reach past the office area. Adding some WiFi extenders across the property would make a big difference. In all, this is one of our favorite campgrounds and we will be back. Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly
  360. ★★★★★ Super cute campground. Extremely friendly hosts. Clean bathrooms. Walking distance to greeter falls and amazing hikes! Very relaxing place to camp. We highly recommend.
  361. ★★★★★ Absolutely beautiful place to stay! Nice clean bathrooms and shower area as well which is a plus to make it even more enjoyable. Definitely would come back again!
  362. ★★★★★ VacationFamily. Very nice campground. Very nice staff. Each campsite has plenty of space between nearby campsites. Will look for opportunities to return. Quiet, Kid-friendly
  363. ★★★★★ Beautiful place & great people
  364. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/DuoSafe, friendly check in, cheap! The option to use the nice bathroom and showers was nice.
  365. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. Greeter Falls was an amazing secluded campground! Great place to unplug and access some great hiking trails. All the extra amenities were amazing! Felt great to come back from a day of hiking to take a hot shower in a clean bathhouse! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in every way. Would absolutely recommend this campground as I plan on returning as well.
  366. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. I loved tent camping here! The people here are fantastic and even though we had minor issues they were great about it and we had a blast!
  367. ★★★★★ Went here on our honeymoon! Absolutely loved it. It was beautiful, peaceful, and very accommodating! We stayed in a yurt. It was nice to get to be at peace with nature. They offer: primitive camp sites, rv sites, tent sites with water and electricity, yurt rentals, firewood ice. All delivered to your site. I litterly made reservations at 9pm and was there in my wedding dress by midnight. We had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING packed for camping and we made do. Lol. We stayed in the yurts and they had a pad , sleeping bag, fan, and chairs the site had a fire pit, with a grill attachment and a picnic table. The views were amazing. The falls are beautiful. It was peaceful. That was 4-20-2022. Update: Since then, they have added more amazing sights, dog runs, updated many features. They recently sent out an email with all their new additions! I can’t wait to go back. Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Great value.
  368. ★★★★★ This was our first time at Greeter Falls, we had a lovely time! The camp store was well stocked, showers/bathrooms were clean, all staff was very kind and helpful, it was very peacful, the fries from the camp grill were delicious, definitely plan on returning in the future!
  369. ★★★★★ Family Vacation. Where to begin on our stellar experience at Greeter Falls campground… The hospitality from all the management & maintenance team was beyond anything I’ve experienced at a campground. The campground was so quiet and comforting, even as guests starting to fill up sites. Their bathhouse is very clean and the amenities offered for kids and adults alike were a blast. We really enjoyed the activity center filled with games and movies as a fun place to cool off after long days at the waterfall. Camp store was packed with essentials and then some. A special shout-out to Matthew, Char & Tommy for making us feel so welcomed, supporting our kids’ talent show, and going out of their way to make our week of camping special for the whole family. We will be back every year after such a unique experience at Greeter Falls Campground! Quiet, Kid-friendly
  370. ★★★★★ Just spent one night at Greeter Falls campground passing through with our travel trailer but what a treasure. Staff was SO friendly and helpful. Sites were very private surrounded by trees. Lots of great nearby hiking. We’ll be back.
  371. ★★★★★ The owners were so kind! I had the California smash burger and it was so good! Great place to grab a bite to eat 🙂
  372. ★★★★★ This is a wonderful campground and crew. They were very helpful when we asked to change sites and the Greeter Grill was awesome and delicious. The campground is very well organized without being prescriptive. It is rare to find a relaxed campground that is this well organized and maintained. We will definitely be back!!!
  373. ★★★★★ The campground is very nice, quiet, and everyone is friendly. The shower house was clean. They have a little store for firewood, things you may have forgotten. The greeters grill is so delicious I recommend checking them out if you come. To anyone out of town Altamont is in a remote area. They do have a DG market in town as well as a gas station. Lots of waterfalls within an hour distance!
  374. ★★★★★ Vacation with Friends. Feels very welcoming and feels like a home away from home. Amazing swimming hole. Great view, Quiet, Great value
  375. ★★★★★ Family Vacation. Kid-friendly. Amazing campground! Staff are very helpful. Waterfalls are easily accessible and was able to hike with a baby on my back.
  376. ★★★★★ VacationCouple. Great camp site. Wonderful staff. Clean restrooms/Showers. Camp store open daily and a grill open on the weekends. Definitely planning to come back! The falls are only a short hike away.
  377. ★★★★★ Family Vacation ·We thoroughly enjoyed rving in the campground! Everyone that worked there was super nice and the place is well kept! You’re in a beautiful forest. It was easy to walk around and walk the dogs. The internet was good and the Greeters Grill serves fresh food! – made fresh and local as much as possible which was very surpising. PERECT! We had burgers and they even put them on lettuce for us!  And the Falls are AMAZING! Worth the bit of a hike!  And the swimming area below is nice, clear and refreshing! It was a busy weekend but everyone respected the noise rules and were friendly. The bathrooms get cleaned often and they have a great little store if you need anything. We will definitely visit again!
  378. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. The camp was beautiful and kept clean. All the workers were very helpful and made you feel at home. They always took time to answer questions and ask how things were going. I would definitely go back!

The service we received was amazing thank you camp staff for making us feel right at home and for staying late past your lunchtime to make sure that we got a comfortable Yurt! 381. ★★★★★ Vacation · Couple. Great place. Super friendly. Beautiful hiking. Close to a few beautiful hikes and some swimming locations. Great view, Quiet, Great value
  382. ★★★★ Food was great and not over priced . Wish the tents had been closed off from the outside better. The bottom was open all the way around and lots of bugs spider came in but all in all not bad
  383. ★★★★★ RV: FHU (Full Hook up) RV Sites. I love the RV space, the proximity to the falls. The campground staff was very helpful and friendly.
  384. ★★★★★ This is by far the best campsite we have ever been to. It is so clean. My 14 yr old daughter was even amazed. We stayed at campsite 35, our first time camping with a platform and we were able to fit 3 tents. The employees were amazing and very nice. They asked of we needed anything. When we first got here I didn’t realize the campsite I booked didn’t have electricity, they moved us to accommodate us. We will definitely be back.
  385. ★★★★★ Family Vacation. Our trip to greeters Falls Campground was very improv too. The service we received was amazing thank you Hillary for making us feel right at home and for staying late past your lunchtime to make sure that we got a comfortable.Yurt! God bless you and we look forward to seeing you again!
  386. ★★★★★ Vacation · Family. The owners are so kind hearted, he helped us set up our tent while we struggled a little too much! Definitely worth a trip!!! Great view, Quiet
  387. ★★★★★ Tent at Greeter Falls Campground. I loved tent camping here! The site was nice and well kept and it was convenient to have a parking spot reserved for our site. The staff were also so helpful and welcoming of any questions we had. The trails were super close and beautiful too. I would definitely stay here again.
  388. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Family/Group. The camping site was super clean and well prepared for my arrival, the whole area was very easy to navigate, and the trails were absolutely gorgeous! 10/10!
  389. ★★★★★ RV: Standard (non-FHU) RV Sites. Great place to camp. We loved our visit so much. The campsites were clean. Everyone who worked there were very nice and helpful. The smash burgers were amazing! We recommend this place. 5 stars and the hiking/waterfalls were beautiful!
  390. ★★★★★ RV: FHU (Full Hook up) RV Sites. Terrific Place to Stay! My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The grounds were clean and kept up. The staff is wonderful. This was our first time staying here and we will definitely be back.
  391. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. Me and my friend really enjoyed our time here. The camp was layed out really well. There was a porta potty close to our campsite and the common area had a bathroom with showers and it was all very clean. The general store and Greeter Grille were both really great. The burgers were awesome and everyone was so friendly!!!
  392. ★★★★★ RV: Standard (non-FHU) RV Sites 😁 I had a wonderful stay at Greeter Falls. The host and staff were all very nice. It is definitely a campground I would recommend
  393. ★★★★★ Perfect camp stay!! We loved staying at Greeter !! The tent platform to keep us off the ground was a nice perk!! Clean showers, friendly staff, great burger !! Being so close to the falls, hammocks to hang out in the shade and a lovely camp store all made this the perfect place to stay. If im ever back in TN, I will come back !!
  394. ★★★★★ This campsite is AMAZING!! The sites are marked everything is very organized and clean. We will definitely stay here again. If you’ve never been definitely must go!!
  395. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. Couple camping. Exactly as described. Nice distance from others and very nice shading. Me and my girlfriend had a great time. Will be back. ☮️❤️
  396. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. nice campsites with clean and well kept amenities, close to the trailhead of a short hike with multiple waterfalls
  397. ★★★★★ Family Vacation. My family stayed this past weekend and everything was so great! Clean, well cared for, the nicest staff, great accommodations and amazing trails walking distance. Pet friendly, we loved being able to bring our fur baby! Highly recommend!! Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value
  398. ★★★★★ Couple Vacation. This is mostly about the people who work at the campground. The site itself is excellent, planned very well . But all that depends on staff, and this brings me to Matt. This sort of fellow makes or breaks a visit, and he made ours really special. We didn’t interact much but the kindness and willingness to help … that doesn’t take much, really, made us feel right at home. And the everyone… thanks!
  399. ★★★★★ Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The camp has a home feel. Even though you are away from home you still feel like you are at home. Everyone is helpful and cared about the about the campers. Everything is very accessible. The camp sights are very clean and nice. The Grill has great food. Luxury, Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value, High-tech
  400. ★★★★★ Solo vacation. Great campsite! As a solo camper, I felt extremely safe. Hillary in the office was so pleasant and sweet and very, very accommodating much thanks to her. Tommy and Char, what can I say other than amazing, friendly people, thank you so much for the smash burgers and for making my camping trip unforgettable 😁
  401. ★★★★ Spent a few days here while traveling in TN; a beautiful quaint campground with very friendly staff. Clean and welcoming atmosphere; Saturday campfire night was a big hit for our parents and they had a great time bonding with other people in the campground. The Greeter Grill is a nice little food stop, good burgers and nice to have hot quick food so close to camp. Small menu/portions, but good quality for a new restaurant. Only downside to the camp is the lack of washer/dryer for guests (outside of long term residents). Makes a week long trip difficult for those with smaller campers/trailers with the added hassle of needing to go into town to a laundromat. Altamont itself is a very remote part of TN, most places are closed on Sunday and there is a limited amount of things to do in town (only downside). Camp is close to a few falls and trails; The waterfalls were beautiful, but quite a hike for beginners. The views are well worth the effort! Would recommend for avid nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. As a “city” girl who loves the country this place was a nice and peaceful spot, but lacks a bit of life in town.
  402. ★★★★★ Friends Vacation. Had a blast! We are definitely coming back again. Staff are so friendly and kind. Food is awesome. Great value
  403. ★★★★★ (no Review) Quiet
  404. ★★★★★ Best campground I’ve stayed at. Great accommodations, family friendly, helpful staff. Nice, clean facilities. Great location to hiking trails
  405. ★★★★★ We love this remote campground because it is woodsy, shady, clean and each campsite has a trash can! It is conveniently located just a half mile from the trailhead to the falls and blue hole. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable!
  406. ★★★★★ VacationCouple. We loved our stay here! I wish we would have been able to push back our plans to stay an extra night or two! The staff is absolutely amazing! We met the nicest people while at this campground. The owners and staff really make you feel like family. We were greeted with a really delicious taco bar and some great music. The sites are spacious and have a table and fire pit. They have the cutest little store at the campground, which has just about anything you may need for camping. The owners and staff have put a lot of time and energy into making this place amazing. I really can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is. It’s so close to Greeter Falls and the walk is more than worth it! We will be back with our family. Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value
  407. ★★★★★ VacationCouple. Me and my girlfriend stayed here 2 nights. Excellent idea! Staff was very nice. Very nice facilities. Parking a little close but not bad. Overall it was a great experience. I would recommend to anyone.
  408. ★★★★★ Glamping: 16′ x 16′ Furnished Yurt. Loved our yurt camping experience! A walk away from the upper and lower Greeter Falls (which has a swimming hole!), as well as other falls and an overlook of the mountain valley. The yurt is spacious and the beds are comfy! We stayed in the yurt village, 4 yurts with a communal fire pit and picnic table. Although, each yurt has its own private fire pit and picnic table area. The two ladies we met at the camp store were so friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend a stay here!
  409. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. Camp here! We had a wonderful time, the campsites are so close to the trail heads for the waterfalls! The sites are a bit close together but everyone was pretty respectful of their neighbors. We will definitely be back!
  410. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. Has everything you need. The location is perfect for hiking and visiting the Savage Gulf. They have a delicious burger joint on site too that is dangerously good. I had a blast staying there and will do it again.
  411. ★★★★★ Our goal this year is to spend more time hiking and camping, exploring and experimenting, and taking in the beauty God created. We took a long weekend to explore @greeterfalls and will definitely be going back. IG: dianemaxeiner
  412. ★★★★★ Clean, great site markings, awesome hiking trails with a lot of maintenance being done.
  413. ★★★★★ The pitches are good and there is sufficient space. The showers and toilets are a bit far away though. The sanitary block was very clean. Flawless !★★★★★ A beautiful campground! Wooded and lots of space between sites. Relatively new picnic tables and a stone campfire ring by all the sites. Staff keep the grounds very clean. We will go back as soon as we can.
  414. ★★★★★ We’ll kept, big camp spots, friendly, great service
  415. ★★★★★ Everything was clean and set up well. $40 for the delux camping with water and an outlet seemed a bit steep but I’m just getting into camping so I’m not sure what the norm is.
  416. ★★★★★ If you like camping in state parks then this is for you but better. Everything was new and clean. Just make sure you are ready to cook. There are no restaurants around you. Actually there’s nothing around other than hiking and the hiking was beautiful. The customer service was top notch! I asked about firewood and 6 seconds later it was at my door. I’d definitely go back!
  417. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  418. ★★★★★ Me and my husband loved our stay at Greeter Falls. My only complaint were all the off leash dogs that were roaming around the campgrounds
  419. ★★★★★ Well priced, super clean, very professional staff, very close distance to the falls and incredible hiking available. Would highly recommend!
  420. ★★★★★ Great spot! Big spaces, very secluded. People were extremely friendly. No complaints. We would highly recommend!

  424. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  425. ★★★★★ Campground was beautiful. Right beside the falls which were beautiful as well. Nice and remote, sites were spaced out. Maintenance came and asked if we wanted our tanks emptied for free. Only downfalls were the trees made it fairly difficult to maneuver around and the wifi didn’t work. Great overall place.
  426. ★★★★★ Nice and quiet place. People running the campground were super nice and easy going. We will definitely be back. (38’ TT – Ram 2500)
  427. ★★★★★ This is a nice camp ground with some beautiful waterfalls nearby.
  428.
  429. ★★★★★ @greeterfalls campground changed my view on what a campground could be. Wow!! What a day. Probably one of the best in my entire life. 4 waterfalls in one day before Khyler turns 5! We hunted a waterfall staycation and stayed at the @greeterfalls campground in a yurt and we can’t wait to go back and do it all over again! We can’t wait to go back! IG: go_explore_with_us
  430. ★★★★★ Clean Camp Ground, love the tent platforms. Staff is friendly and camp store is reasonable.
  431. ★★★★★ Couple Vacation. This is a beautiful campground! Close to waterfalls and swimming hole. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Clean restrooms! Food & drinks: Have a burger at the greeter grill! Quiet, Kid-friendly
  432. ★★★★★ Vacation | Family. Quiet. Have a good time
  433. ★★★★★ Conveniently located, friendly staff with family friendly community events. Beautiful hiking trails, with showers and bathrooms can’t be beat.
  434. ★★★★★ Wonderful 😊
  435. ★★★★★ Great place to camp. Friendly staff. Great hiking trails. 100% RECOMMENDED
  436. ★★★★★ RV: Standard (non-FHU) RV Sites. Highly Recommended. We stayed here for three nights in our teardrop camper. Incredibly clean campground and very friendly staff. The bathrooms / showers are constantly being cleaned. Absolutely loved the Greeter Grill!!! Delicious food and so nice!!! The close proximity to Greeter Falls is a huge plus!!! Absolutely beautiful. The campground is very peaceful and serene. The one downfall is that some of the sites are a bit tight so just make sure if you’re in need of a large site you look at the dimensions. We enjoyed wineries and antique stores in the area. Would be a great location for Bonaroo. Highly recommended!!
  437. ★★★★★ RV: FHU (Full Hook up) RV Sites. Very relaxed atmosphere. Loved the stay and owners were helpful.
  438. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. I highly recommend a stay at greeter falls campground! They have lots of amenities such as: a clean bathhouse, a small camp store, dog park, activity center, firewood etc. They are also a small walk away from the greeter falls trailhead that’s on property. The park also has yurts and rv accessibility as well.
  439. ★★★★★ First camping trip of 2024 is in the books. @joyous_being and @greeterfalls – Nem and Aanya won’t stop talking about the weekend! Thanks for the special memories. ⛺️🥾⛰️ IG: sowmone
  440. ★★★★ (no Review)
  441. ★★★★★ Every thing there is clean and works. Walking distance to falls. Perfect in every way. I highly recommend.
  442. ★★★★★ Vacation | Couple. We really enjoyed the closeness of the waterfalls and.the atmosphere of the camp. Highly recommend. Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value.
  443. ★★★★★ Love the people that cook the food they treat you and your pets just like family ..Food & drinks: Love the food ice cream is the best in town!
  444. ★★★★★ Vacation | Family. The campgrounds were immaculately cared for and the service was excellent! The signs are very well lit at night, so it was no problem arriving after dark. The bathroom and shower facilities are spic and span with an efficient water heater to boot. We only stayed for one night in our RV but wish we were there longer.
  445. ★★★★★ Vacation. EVERYONE was so kind, upbeat and accommodating. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The campground was neat, clean and very thoughtfully laid out. The grill was AMAZING and they had the best dairy free ice cream. We will definitely be returning!!!!
  446. ★★★★★ Vacation | Family. I adore camping, and go to different campgrounds from time to time. We booked the campsite with platform (#35) and it was wise decision as it was a heavy raining during the first night. The size of the campsite was decent with electrical hookup and fire ring. Stuff is very kind and helpful. Simple things ( ice, wood, repellent etc) can be bought in the store located at this campground. There is also a cafe where you can buy burgers and ice cream. Bathhouse is clean (!!!), cozy and smells like pine wood. Additionally, waterfalls are within walking distance, still you can drive and there is a huge parking lot next to waterfalls park ( free entrance). Definitely worth camping! Enjoyed it so much! Nearby activities: Greater Falls Waterfalls.
  447. ★★★★★ Absolutely serene and beautiful. Friendly staff and a piece of paradise. Highly recommend!!!
  448. ★★★★★ It was so incredible to stay here! We were here while it was raining and I got kind of nervous about the area around the tent as well as the trails being pretty difficult to walk through, but I was wrong!! The trails are beautiful to walk and the waterfalls are gorgeous. The amenities are great and we have easy access to a bathroom on the campsite. Would definitely recommend staying here!!
  449. ★★★★★ Vacation | Friends. We camped in a primitive camp site for 2 people and the location was great! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, they explained where our site was, where the trails were, and everything the campground had to offer! Hot showers were nice, our fire pit and picnic table were great, overall great campground!
  450. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Deluxe Family/Group. So close to the falls trial head. We loved our one night stay and hike to the falls. Very well maintained and private primitive camping sites. The bath house and showers are nice and clean. Port a pots are available closer to the camping areas. Host was welcoming and helpful.
  451. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Deluxe Family/Group. Local camping. We booked the family/deluxe wooded pad tent site and it was great. Our tent was too big for the wood pad so we ended up setting it up next to it but that wasn’t their fault. The bathhouse was so clean and the campground itself was beautiful. The grill was fantastic and the customer service was that perfect southern hospitality you find here in TN! We will definitely be staying again, going to try the primitive sites next time. The hiking trails are conviently located and we really enjoyed those and the views! 10/10 definitely recommend checking it out!
  452. ★★★★★ RV/Camper Site with Dog Park. Great camping with family and pets! Great site! Quiet and secluded family friendly and extremely dog friendly!!! Great and amazing staff and do not I repeat DO NOT leave without trying smash burgers from the on site restaurant!!!!
  453. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. The site was lovely and as described. You could walk to Greeter Falls….The owners and staff were so helpful and kind. They had a great site for showers and the most delicious smash burgers. The sites are close together, but that’s kind of nice if you don’t want to be in the wilderness alone. Would definitely return!
  454. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Deluxe Family/Group. Quiet, relaxing and good people. Many trails to choose from for any level of hiking, beautiful falls!
  455. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. Great Hikes, Awesome Food. Our trip to Greeter Falls was fantastic! We usually go the more primitive route, but decided to stay here because of the proximity to the Greeter Falls trailhead and it did not disappoint!! Would highly recommend — and be sure to grab a smash burger at the Greeter Grill, we did on our first night so we wouldn’t have to worry about cooking and wow they are good!
  456. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. Great place to stay. Loved camping at Greeters Falls. The sites were well maintained and the bath house was amazing. It was neat, clean and plenty of hot water. Terrina checked is in and was very friendly and helpful. For dinner you have to try Greeters Grill and have one of the most delicious smash burgers I’ve ever had! Tommy and Char know how to cook!!! We will be back!!
  457. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Deluxe Family/Group. very pretty views. nice waterfalls. our pup loved it
  458. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. Clean and Spacious Campsite. Had a relaxing time getting away for the weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed the hiking trails nearby and the beautiful waterfalls. Site was quiet and extremely clean.
  459. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Deluxe Family/Group. Comfortable, clean and simple. As a solo camper I felt very comfortable and the two small towns nearby both had small markets and there’s a nice coffee shop in Altomont
  460. ★★★★ (no Review)
  461. ★★★★★ We rented 2 tents for 1 night and the set up that was in The Village, was perfect! Really great hang out spot for adults and kids! Wished we had more time to stay longer! The staff were all very pleasant!
  462. ★★★★★ Vacation | Family. Nearby activities: The waterfalls were awesome.
  463. ★★★★★ VacationCouple. We loved our experience at Greeter Falls Campground. Our tent site (#6) provided the perfect balance of privacy and community. Surrounded by trees, we felt secluded yet connected to fellow campers. The hike to lower Greeter Falls was a highlight, just a 30-minute walk each way. Don’t miss the community campfire for a chance to meet awesome people. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and facilities were very clean. Plus, unloading near the site was convenient. Highly recommend!
  464. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Deluxe Family/Group. Perfect Weekend Away. Camp was super clean and welcoming. Sites were spread throughout many different locations. Ours was closest to the camp store and bathhouse. Sites are large and spacious semi level platforms. Bathhouse was clean and the dog park was fantastic. We ate one meal at the Greeter grill which was amazing. Lots of fun activities and beautiful scenery in the surrounding area. Only con was that the sites are more open and exposed than i personally prefer. With that being said when everyone left Sunday we had the whole place to ourselves and it was super quiet and peaceful. They sell bundles of wood on site for $6.00. Be sure to bring everything you will need as the closest large store is over 45 minutes away.
  465. ★★★★★ RV: Regular RV/Camper Sites. Wonderful experience! We enjoyed our stay here! The workers are helpful and super friendly. It was clean and quiet and wonderful food at the Cowboy cookout! The hike at the falls was beautiful. We highly recommend this campground.
  466. ★★★★★ RV: Regular RV/Camper Sites. Great place for camping and enjoying nature. Staff is very kind and very happy to help with anything you need. Property was clean and amazingly equipped!
  467. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, perfect camping spot. My kids and I loved it!!
  468. ★★★★★ Wonderful location with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Primitive camp site was cleared and nearby facilities were very clean and functional. Highly recommend Greeter Falls Campground.
  469. ★★★★ This is the only campground anywhere near savage gulf state park so thats a huge plus. The sites were large and some were very widely spaced. Most were a bit unlevel but the weird thing was the placement of the hookups. The sewer hookup was just a pvc pipe with a screw on cap requiring an elbow adapter. We made due. The owner is working hard to provide nice touches (the activity room was a godsend on a very rainy day). Bottom line, we will likely be back when we need to hike the area again. Very nice shower. We camped at Greeter Falls Campground in a Truck Camper.
  470. ★★ The campsite itself was not the problem; it was the misleading pricing that surprised me. I looked online a few days before my trip and found a site with water and electric hookup for $20. To make this story short, one night of camping for one tent cost me $62.12
  471. ★★★★★ Awesome campground located next to beautiful Greeter Falls and Savage Gulf. It’s less than a half mile to the trailhead! They had a burger stand that was top notch, which comes in handy after a long hike. The bathrooms were super clean and the camp store was loaded with drinks and snacks. We rented a yurt that was spacious and the cot mattress was comfortable. Everyone at the campground we met was super friendly and we’ll be planning a trip back soon!
  472. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. We loved being so close to camping trails and the additional amenities that many other campsites may not offer (e.g. dog park, camp store, nearby food stand). We also appreciated the polite hospitality when checking in and out.
  473. ★★★★★ Wow, hiking on the Greeter Falls trails is an incredible experience! The Upper Falls area is absolutely breathtaking, and the sound of the water is so soothing. Make sure to visit us at the Greeter Falls Campground for an unforgettable outdoor adventure!
  474. ★★★★★ Greeter Falls was a great place for the family! The kids loved the Frisbee golf, park, and ice cream! And I SUPER loved the waterfalls!!! Good for backpackers
  475. ★ the owner is snoopy he came over to our camp site multiple times, pretty location but they visit the campsites way too much
  476. ★★★★★ RV: Premium RV/Camper Site. Clean. Amazing onsite smash burgers. Great employees! We will definitely be going back soon.
  477. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  478. ★★★★★ Glamping: 16′ x 16′ Furnished Yurt. such a great place to stay, very comfortable and the camp store and camp restaurant were amazing!! the smash burgers at the camp store were the best camp food i’ve ever had. thank you!
  479. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. Camping in greeter falls. I love absolutely everything about it, nice people, nice place, I loved the waterfall, trials and camping area, it’s a much different scene then down in Mississippi where we are from, I am definitely planning on coming back in the future! Thank y’all for having us🥰.
  480. ★★★★★ Family Vacation. Wonderful camp ground. Beautiful waterfalls at the end of trails that’s walking distance from your camp site. Clean facilities and Wonderful staff!!
  481. ★★★★★ Deluxe tent area. I loved the primitive deluxe camping area, the dog parks and the food! It’s also very closed to the waterfalls, totally recommend
  482. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  483. ★★★★★ Greeter Falls campsites and facilities were clean, staff was so amazing and informative, overall was a really good experience. The campsites were a little close together and more car space would be ideal, but it’s such a great place to camp, very family friendly!
  484. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. Great experience! I loved the tent camping! It was a very short walk from the car and while you could see the other campers nearby it was more secluded than a regular camping spot. All the facilities were well maintained and everyone was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
  485. ★★★★★ Deluxe tent area C. I loved the primitive deluxe camping area, the dog parks and the food! It’s also very closed to the waterfalls, totally recommend
  486. ★★★★★Tent Sites: Deluxe Family/Group. Great amenities and great location! The waterfalls at the nearby park are beautiful. The campgrounds are well taken care of and clean. Would come back in a heartbeat!
  487. ★★★★ #63 is a tricky pull through site, no bath house in area D, but great scenery not a lot of extras. We camped at Greeter Falls Campground in a Travel Trailer.
  488. ★★★★ The campground was very quiet with plenty of trees and was nestled in the hills near the Savage Gulf State Park. The staff was very friendly when we checked in and gave us tips on where to hike in the park. They also operated a small burger stand at the entrance to Area C where we stayed. We stayed at site 43 which was a full hookup and the site was backed up to the woods and very quiet and peaceful. There was an acceptable dog park, a playground, and small camp store on site as well. What really makes this campground great is the hiking at Savage Gulf State Park. The west trailhead is just down the road from the campground and we spent the day hiking in the park. From the west trailhead you can hike the Blue Hole, Greeter Falls, Broadtree Falls, and the Alum Gap Overlook. The falls were beautiful and the overlook was breathtaking. We also drove over to the north trailhead and hiked to the Stone Door Overlook and were treated to even more spectacular views. Overall the campground was pretty good but the proximity to the park is what makes it great.
  489. ★★★★★ Beautiful campground.
  490. ★★★★★ We stayed in site 43…it was perfect, FHU and firepit….Beautiful woods and trees.
Quiet and Peaceful… We camped at Greeter Falls Campground in a Travel Trailer.
  491. ★★★★★ Regular RV/Camper Sites. Great campsite. Bathhouse was very nice. Great little grill onsite. It had a great community atmosphere. It is a campsite so you will see and hear other people but the sites have some space between them so you never feel like anyone is too close.
  492. ★★★★★ “Excellent hiking nearby” This is the only campground anywhere near savage gulf state park so thats a huge plus. The sites were large and some were very widely spaced. Most were a bit unlevel but the weird thing was the placement of the hookups. Many were either on the wrong side or you had to use a very long cord or hose to reach them.
  493. ★★★★★We stayed in Area B Yurt Village. It was a very nice set-up. Be aware the yurts are very close together but the private tables & fire pits were a great bonus. The beds were very comfy, with nice mattress covers. Bring bug spray since you are very much in the woods. It’s very close to the trailhead, easy walking distance. Facility owners are great, very helpful. We would love to come back soon! This is an incredibly beautiful and fun spot in TN.
  494. ★★ Rustic = Rundown. Lots are uneven and the grounds are poorly maintained. And at 8:30 the camp host told us we had to quit making noise because others were trying to sleep. Even though the sign says 10pm quiet time. And we weren’t even that loud. Kids unwelcome I guess. And this place is tick infested like none I’ve been in…and I’ve hiked all over the US.
  495. ★★★★★ RV/Camper Site with Dog Park. Great location. The various pods helps give each camp site its own space!
  496. ★★★★★ Glamping: 11’x11′ Furnished Yurt. We reserved one of the yurts. It got very windy and then rained a lot the 2nd night. It held tight and stayed dry. Bring your own linens pillows and blankets. Just prepare like camping and have a great time enjoying close hikes and scenery. The Campground is in the woods and quiet. We loved it
  497. ★★★★★ This was my favorite campground of my trip north. Great facilities, great hosts, great prices, loved my campsite #35, great motorcycle riding in the area. Amazing trails and waterfalls in walking distance but they also have a parking area at the trailhead. You can walk everywhere within the campground and near by waterfalls, good pathways. The Greeter Grill on site, on the weekends, is amazing. Homemade food cooked by a couple of the hosts. Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value.
  498. ★★★★★ Serene and well taken care of campground with plenty of amenities and easy access to beautiful trails. Awesome and friendly staff. Highly recommend!
  499. ★★★★★ Deluxe Family/Group Tent Site. Amazing camp site!! Amazing place!! The entire staff was warm, welcome and even upgraded us last minute. Bathrooms were warm and clean and the campsite was only a quarter mile from the most beautiful waterfalls and trails! 10:10 recommend!!
  500. ★★★★★ I’m a Happy Camper. It was a 3.5 hour drive to the campsite from where we were, and we didn’t exactly know what to expect. Bathhouse was clean and free for campers. The falls were extremely impressive to someone from a flatter state. I plan on returning, because upon exploring, I found out that there is a huge heap of things to do other than visiting the falls in the area. 10/10 would recommend.
  501. ★★★★★ Great people. Great location near the falls
  502. ★★★★ We are seasoned campers that have stayed in a lot of both private and public campgrounds over the years. We chose Greeter Falls campground because of its location for our mini vacation. It has some awesome trails and waterfalls within a few minutes drive which we enjoyed. It is tucked away in a remote area which we like. The staff and people we talked with were all super friendly and helpful. The only negative aspect was that the Campground is still a work in progress, the sites were smaller than I expected and situated in some awkward places that were not very level which may pose a problem if you pull and larger camper. All in all our experience was good, the people were friendly, and we had a great time in Tennessee. Nearby activities: Greeter Falls, Lodge factory, Stone Door trail, Ruby Falls, Rock City Gardens. Walkability: Lots of great trails around with waterfalls, rock formations, etc within a few minutes of the campground.
  503. 5 stars plus 💫⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 What more can I say. 🪶
  504. ★★★★★ Wow, what a cool campground! We camped in site 64 (area D) and had some friends camping in yurts (area C). Site 64 is a HUGE campsite with a nice dog pen. We had some cold and rainy weather, but we were allowed to use the activity center (area C) and the grill located nearby under a shelter so we could cook dinner and have a warm place to eat. Without the use of the activity center, we would not have been able to have our family dinner. The bathhouse was small, but was very clean. The camp store has all sorts of snacks and drinks and items you’d need while camping. The campground staff was VERY friendly. This is a great campground and I cannot wait to go back!
  505. ★★★★★ Glamping: 11’x11′ Furnished Yurt. This is our 2nd time at Greeter falls. This time we went for our 1 year anniversary and got a yurt. It rained a lot the first 2 nights but we got a pristine day to hike the local trails in perfect weather. The propane heater (or something) is a must with cold camping, and the camp has them for rent. The camp reached out and welcomed us, specifically celebrating our anniversary with us. It was a wonderful getaway with my bride and the camp is amazing. Can’t wait to make more memories there!
  506. ★★★★★ Glamping: 11’x11′ Furnished Yurt. This campground and everyone there is an absolute pleasure!! I love going there and making memories 🖤
  507. ★★★★★ Family Vacation. Wonderful location with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Primitive camp site was cleared and nearby facilities were very clean and functional. Highly recommend Greeter Falls Campground
  508. ★★★★★ Wonderful site! Great camping and hiking!
  509. ★★★★★ Glamping: 11’x11′ Furnished Yurt. We loved our camping at Greeter Falls. The campsite was nice with indoor and outdoor lighting and two decently comfortable cots in the Yurts. The bathhouses were SUPER clean and accessible. There are so many trails to explore and at least 3 gorgeous falls all located right near the campground. Beautiful area!
  510. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. I love it here. Good hikin n waterfalls more than worth it
  511. ★★(★★) I really, truly wish that I could leave a better review giving the campground is set up top notch and it’s the best maintained I’ve ever been to. It would easily by 5 stars if we could sleep. However, at our site we’re surrounded by neighbors of the campground who have dogs that bark for hours upon hours without ceasing and all through the night and a big group of people came in and thier party is not stopping. Playing loud music and hooting and hollering until well after quiet hours and just not winding down at all. They partied until after 1am. I will say, the staff that I have met seem wonderful. Just not being available at night when guests are not respecting quiet hours is an absolute deal breaker for me. Edit: we truly appreciate the campground doing what they can to make it right and reaching back out to us. Thank you. Changing my rating from 2-4. It truly is a lovely place to stay and if we choose to in the future I’m sure we’ll have a better experience.
  512. ★★★★★ Regular RV. Clean campgrounds and bathhouses. Sites spread out well. Dog park and playground for the kids. All sites have picnic table and fire pit.
  513. ★★★★★ Glamping. Quiet, Great value. Great campsite and hiking.
  514. ★★★★★ Me and a couple of my friends came camping together to get away for a bit of the city life down from Florida…and not gonna lie it was an amazing experience I loved every moment and the grill was amazing the couple was great and I loved their story and every thing they do is local pls support them if your ever up here and the camp.
  515. ★★★★★ Beautiful campground with super friendly staff who are really interested in helping you have the best stay possible. The nearby trails are great with a lot to see as well. Food & drinks: Their grill has great food and they are exceptionally friendly and wholly interested in getting you the best food possible, while still being a great deal.
  516. ★★★★★ Absolutely LOVED my stay! Super hospitable staff, PERFECT location close to some INCREDIBLE hiking. And lots of reasonably priced options for whichever type of stay you prefer. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay again!
  517. ★★★★★ My friends and I came here for our spring break trip and had an amazing time!! We camped at one of the deluxe camp sites, which had everything we needed! The bathhouse bathrooms were spotless every time we went to shower! The hikes around the area are gorgeous and accessible! Definitely recommend camping here!
  518. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  519. ★★★★★ Very nice campground and the management were great. The host even gave my wife a pair of fuzzy socks due to the cold temperatures. Only problem was dogs barking at night, but if you can’t sleep through that, you’re not tired enough…
  520. ★★★★★ Beautiful campground. Friendly owner. Location is near some beautiful trails and waterfalls.
  521. ★★★★★ An absolutely beautiful campgrounds and rv. Park , dedicated to our veterans as well as providing an amazing place to recharge
  522. ★★★★★ I’ll keep it simple. This place is clean, well organized, well run by very nice and helpful hosts. Very quiet at night. The hike to the 3 different falls is well worth it. Highly recommended
  523. ★★★★★Vacation | Friends. Walking distance to the beautiful hikes in and around Greeter Falls and the campgrounds were well kept and clean. It was late-Fall, so not very crowded, but we had a great time with 5 kids under 11 and they loved playing around the play area. Looking forward to another visit soon!
  524. ★★★★★ Regular RV/Camper Sites. I’ll keep it simple. This place is clean, well organized, well run by very nice and helpful hosts. Very quiet at night. The hike to the 3 different falls is well worth it. Highly recommended
  525. ★★ No water access when temps are below freezing. We camped here in Jan. They advertise as a “full hookup” and open all year long, but they are not equipped to provide water throughout the winter. Also, it’s VERY dark when you come into the campground at night.
  526. ★★★★★great campground. loved that spots were all spread out and not stacked up on each other! bathrooms were warm and clean. we only spent one night on our way south, but are planning on coming back just to stay here again and explore the area
  527. ★★★★★ 10/10 this place was awesome and the private dog park was great. Everyone we met was very nice and helpful… i loved this place
  528. ★★★★★ RV: Camp & Hike. Wonderful staff, clean bath house, convenient camp store, dog park, spacious sites & walking distance to Greeter Falls Trailhead. There is also a large paved parking lot at trailhead if you’d rather drive down. The hike was beautiful! We stayed at site #48 which we loved. This campground is very well maintained. This is also a great area to ride bikes.
  529. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. best camping spot. such a beautiful area to camp! so many really gorgeous and easy trails near the sites and super easy access to stores/ bathhouse. Host at check in was extra sweet! had some good snacks in there which was perfect bc we left super early! 12/10 cannot wait to come camp again.
  530. ★★★★★ Vacationing Couple. It’s a great, out of the way camp site. Yet still close enough to Nashville and the surrounding area to be an easy day out. Quiet, Kid-friendly
  531. ★★★★★ This is the cutest campground. They have little cabins that contain the office, a kitchen that you can buy food like chicken tenders, hot dogs, breakfast foods, etc. A larger cabin with arts and craft activities. The buildings and common areas are lit up with pretty lights. The people that own the campground and the people that work there are all very kind, helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my stay there very much.
  532. ★★★★★ Camp & Hike. Very clean bath house and grounds. Friendly staff inside small camp store. Spacious sites. Walk or drive to Greeter Falls trailhead for a beautiful waterfall hike.
  533. ★★★★★ Friendly staff, great tent site w/ table and flat tent pad. All close to some of the most beautiful places in Tennessee.
  534. ★★★★★ Furnished Yurt- 16′ x 16′ Military. Friendly staff who were very accommodating. Clean bathrooms with hot, free showers. Beautiful area. Also great location if youre seeing a show at the Caverns- not too long of a drive. Would recommended!
  535. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Deluxe Family/Group. It was an amazing campsite and amenities! We pulled up to the their store to check in and bathhouse (hot showers and clean!!) they offer many options to enjoy the land and fresh air. We pulled into our campsite and they supply a water pump and electric connections so that was great for cleaning refilling our Nalgenes. Each campsite in the primitive sites are well spaced and once it gets dark, you can see so many stars. Totally recommend and plan to visit again!
  536. ★★★★★ RV: Regular RV/Camper Sites. Good campground with lots of sites, nice little central area with bathhouse and a small store. Easy access to the state park and hiking to the waterfalls.
  537. ★★★★★ We stayed in site 43…it was perfect, FHU and firepit….Beautiful woods and trees. Quiet and Peaceful… We camped at Greeter Falls Campground in a Travel Trailer.
  538. ★★★★ #63 is a tricky pull through site, no bath house in area D, but great scenery not a lot of extras.
  539. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. Primitive camping was secluded and the trail leading to our camp was so fun! We decided to stay here for a show we went to at The Caverns and we cannot wait to be back! We especially loved the hiking trails right down the road and our campfire saved my Florida bones from the cold Temps. Thank you Greeter Falls!
  540. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Very nice campground. The hiking trails weren’t very far
  541. ★★★★★ Tent Sites: Solo/Duo. Loved it! Great fall colors/decor and campground amenities.
  542. ★★★★★ Last summer at our 50th reunion we hatched a plan to visit our classmates campground in Tennessee. Two weekends ago we pulled it off and met at Greeter Falls for 3 nights. What a great spot! The location was stunning with awesome falls and hiking trails nearby. The campground itself, although only a few years in existence, was well thought out and in great shape. The newly erected buildings were perfect and the bathhouse was very clean. Our yurt was also clean, dry, and warm (the nights were getting cool). To go with that, the entire staff was pleasant and eager to please. Good people. Highly recommended 👍🏼
  543. ★★★★ Lovely, well-maintained campground with beautifully spaced out and natural sites! Close access to hiking trailheads and waterfalls. Nice little camp store and clean bath house with warm showers. Staff/hosts were super friendly. Will definitely return.
  544. ★★★ It’s a beautiful location, maybe not for an overnighter in Fall. Wish map had been provided with all the registration I had to do online. The pull thru was fine even in reverse direction. Only used electricity.
  545. ★★★★★ Family Vacation. Beautiful waterfalls nearby, staff was super accommodating and friendly. Very quiet and quaint. Highly recommend! Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value.
  546. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. This was a beautifully kept campground. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Showers were nice and clean and water was hot. Access to potable water and trash facilities were aplenty. I would absolutely recommend. The only small thing I noticed is that the campgrounds are a little closer together than I have experienced in the past. Not that big of a deal for us but just in case that’s important to anyone. Hiking is very close with two great water spots. We’ll be back, for sure.
  547. ★★★★★ Vacation. Nice campground, very friendly lady at the office. Quiet, near the falls loop trail. We were disappointed that the drought had caused there to be zero “falls” but that certainly wasn’t the fault of the campground! Would absolutely stay there again. A bit remote but the roads to and from are great and the fall colors were beautiful. Easy walk from campground to the trailhead.
  548. ★★★★★ Just pulled out of site 43 from spending 9 days at this campground. The area is amazing and in walking distance to some beautiful hiking, Greeter Falls Trailhead. Shower houses are clean and easily accessible. If you are looking for seclusion beautiful views, and wildlife then this is the perfect place for you. There is a dollar general market 5-8 minutes away. Not many restaurants close by but we didn’t get out and explore all that much. There was a restaurant close by in their quaint little town. We did venture to Chattanooga for 3 days to go to the zoo and aquarium, Lookout Mountain, Ruby Falls, see Rock City, etc. The drive is easy and BEAUTIFUL. Other trailheads are close so you can easily make a day of hiking and seeing other trails, or just enjoy Geeter Falls!
  549. ★★★★★ Regular RV/Camper Sites. I loved that the sites were far enough apart that you couldn’t hear other people’s conversations and had enough room to feel comfortable and relax. We had an easy arrival and departure.
  550. ★★★★★ Deluxe Family/Group Tent Sites. Camping couple. Excellent communication with Camp host. Extremely organized. Our camp site, had our info ready for us. The bathrooms were clean and appreciated. Hot showers clean and available. Had a wonderful weekend.
  551. ★★★★★ Beautiful place, relaxing and serene, with plenty of hiking trails through the mountains to different waterfalls, offering an array of endurance levels to suit most people. The owners of the campground are a young, warm and inviting couple, with the most adorable dog Jasper. The bathhouse is by far the most well kept, cleanest bathroom/shower weve come across while camping. Grateful our daughter chose this spot for our way back home from Disney World. It was a welcomed relaxing retreat for our family. 5 stars plus so much more!
  552. ★★★★★ This is a great campground close to Savage Gulf hiking and waterfalls! Privately run and well maintained yet not super fancy. I really liked how they kept most of the trees in the camping areas which makes it feel like you’re really outdoors and not at some overdeveloped RV park. Great camping option for a family with children. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Was very quiet after dark. Veterans discount was a nice bonus!
  553. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. The campsite was so beautiful and clean. The hosts provided wifi, a trash bag and a scenic stay that I would come back to. The showers were clean and well taken care of. It’s a plus that there was so many hikes close by to do! They were very kind and responsive. Thank you so much!!
  554. ★★★★★ Family Vacation. We had a great time. Our campground was awesome! Private dog park, plenty of room, quiet. We will return. Great view, Quiet
  555. ★★★★★ Love this cute little campground! The sites aren’t too close together and the bathrooms are 100% clean! First time camping in a yurt and loved it! Quiet.
  556. ★★★★★ Amazing primitive camp sites!! Lots of privacy and trees. Nice fire pit and table.
  557. ★★★ (no Review)
  558. ★★★★★ Stayed there for month of November. The campground, staff and shower house were great. The burger shack was great greasy burger food. The only knock was our site was a little hard backing in to. Also after a dry October it of course it rained quite a bit. Some really cool hiking trails close. Would stay again. We camped at Greeter Falls Campground in a Travel Trailer.
  559. ★★★★ Very family friendly. Dog park is roomy. Staff was very helpful. Mix of tv and tent sites. At first glance the bath house is nice but, the showers do need some cleaning attention. Be keenly aware that not all sites are full hookup. Thought for sure our site had sewer but didnt. Power good, water pressure good. Had a bit of a struggle getting backed in straight but that might have been operator error. We camped at Greeter Falls Campground in a Travel Trailer.
  560. ★★★ Altamont is a nice town. The roads in are steep and curve from interstate 24. There are a lot of hiking trails around within 5-10 miles. Bathhouse small community area is nice. They have little cabins mixed in with RV sites. Some of the trails are difficult to walk with dogs… Over all not our vibe but still a nice campground. We camped at Greeter Falls Campground in a Travel Trailer.
  561. ★★★★★ Peaceful forest Excellent instructions, easy to find my site. Trees so can add my tarp for possible rain. Restful sleep. Parked by my deluxe primitive site. It comes with hot shower and flush toilet. Porta potties close by lit with fairy lights at night. I was impressed as they were clean. Self check in. I saw a deer on the way to the bathroom. Appreciate the trash cans, water and electricity. Close to gas, food. I went to Coalmont. The Mexican food was authentic.
  562. ★★★★★ We love this campground. It is always a quiet and restful place to visit, and the playground is a favorite place for my granddaughter to play. The addition of on-site food choices and the camp store are huge bonuses. Greeter Falls will always be our “go-to” for camping close to home.
  563. ★★★★★ Beautiful campsite close to the trailhead. Everything was clean and we felt safe sleeping in our hammocks.
  564. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  565. ★★★★★ I would recommend the Campground! We will be back! Friendly staff, easy access, love the spaced out sites, clean bathrooms!
  566. ★★★★★ We loved how wooded the sites were. We didn’t see other people except in the common areas. It was really pretty
  567. ★★★★★ It’s a rustic campground with friendly staff. Sites are a little tight but everything else was good.
  568. ★★★★★ A very nice RV park. You don’t have to have a RV though, all I can say is look them up on the internet. Super out door camping, a little rugged and plenty of space between sites. Will definitely come back if we travel thru the area. I felt very safe and sure was a welcome treat after traveling 3 days!

  571. ★★★★★ Peaceful forest Excellent instructions, easy to find my site. Trees so can add my tarp for possible rain. Restful sleep. Parked by my deluxe primitive site. 572. ★★★★★ Great campground! Within walking distance of several trails. Friendly and helpful staff, clean bathhouse, and great sites. Thank you for the wonderful stay and to all the staff who work hard to make it a great campground! We will definitely be back.
  573. ★★★★★ We stayed in the primitive campsites. Very well maintained with running water and electrical hook up. Check in attendants were very helpful.
  574. ★★★★★ Premium RV/Camper Sites. We liked the wooded, natural camping. They didn’t mow down the trees and fill with concrete. Love it. Nice area to hike also.
  575. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. Great campground and hiking trails around site. Would go back.
  576. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. Best camp site I’ve been to yet. This campsite had weirdly clean bathrooms a great camping store with supplies that are quite needed, there was a fire pit with a metal grate that worked well, there was a really flat ground for where we put our tents, and that was very helpful, and the walkways were super clean and marked with stones so you don’t get poison ivy, and their recreation center was fantastic and we painted rocks . One of the camp employees Ash was running both the camp store, and the rock painting was absolutely fantastic, and we got along with her extremely well!
  577. ★★★★★ Vacation | Family. Well maintained and the owner goes the extra mile to make the stay fun for the kids. There is a lot of love put into this campground.
  578. ★★★★★ Nice camp store, very friendly staff. Clean facilities.
  579. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. Good experience. We did only one night to get experience with our kids and also to know what exactly we will need and to better prepare our self. Overall we were happy, host is friendly and kind. Camp sites are very close to one another. I wonder how it would be when people don’t care about the 10pm-8 am quiet time. Bench and table provided was in an odd place. Thankful that we did it Thursday and not weekend. I am sure there would be an argument with the campers next to us. People don’t understand the sign that says quiet after 10pm, We enjoyed it overall.
  580. ★★★ Location was amazing really close to hikes. The military tent that we stayed in was a little disappointing it was a little overpriced for what we got there’s no water at the site. The tent leaked even though we only had a minor rain. The tent door doesn’t close properly so if you bring a dog it’s a little annoying.
  581. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. We tent camped! Perfect experience! Friendly staff! Super helpful! Clean bathrooms!
  582. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. Nice level site with fire pit, table, nearby port-a-potty and water faucet.
  583. ★★★★★ Deluxe Group Tent Site- Main Campus. I’m definitely going back! I set up a reservation to utilize a tent at the campsite. I do enjoy the blend of primitive and glamping layout of the area. It was well thought out. Being at the front of the campsite, allowed me unlimited use of the bathhouse since it was only a 2 minute hike my station. The wifi quality is premium and having electrical outlets really came in handy. The staff is super helpful and courteous me being a tourist.
  584. ★★★★★ Definitely download all trails before coming. Keep in mind the terrain is not flat and can be difficult! There are metal winding stairs, wood steps and metal steps so wear good shoes. There is a homestead on property you can see as well! We arrived at 11:17 am and stayed until almost 1:00 pm. There is a lot to see and we took our time with the terrain. We did not go view the upper falls only lower. It was breathtaking highly recommend! It is just 1.5 hours from Nashville! The pictures don’t do justice!
  585. ★★★★★ We have camped here twice in the past 2 weeks! Wonderful campsites, wooded area, bathhouses, pet friand very helpful and nice staff! The waterfalls were amazing which are close by. I would highly recommend this campground! We will definitely be back~ Kevin & Vanecia
  586. ★★★★★ Although we didn’t have the opportunity to stay here on this visit we drove by on our way to the falls and I was very impressed. The campground was very well organized and looked incredibly taken care of. It had nice sites and was very close to the falls. We saw many groups walking to the trailhead from the campground. The falls themselves were pretty incredible and there is some great hiking in the area. Make sure to do the whole loop so that you can appreciate the rock formations and cliffs. We did this hike in the afternoon and got a nice dip in at the falls since it was such a hot day. There were lots of people there enjoying the space and everyone was incredibly friendly. I will definitely be checking out this campground on my next visit to the area.
  587. ★★★★★ I was looking for a camping spot with electricity and hot showers near Savage Gulf park. This place was a nice experience. The campsite was clean and well kept. The bathhouse was clean too. Close the Savage Gulf North and West entrances. Will go back.
  588. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. Perfect camp for a couples get away. The site was clean and well maintained with a close water source. The bathrooms are very well maintained and were a welcome stop after the hike. We loved the hiking and little local dinner. I can’t wait to bring the kids with us next time, this place is great for families.
  589. ★★★★★ Rustic camping. Friendly staff. Helped us change sites after we discovered the site we booked was not a good fit for our equipment. Very convenient to greeter falls. About an hour from Rock Island and Fall creek falls.
  590. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. The camp was very well organized and the solo campsites were great. Everything we needed, nestled among the trees. It’s a very short walk to the trail head and they even have a small convenience store where you can get snacks and wood. The staff was very friendly as well!
  591. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. We loved the campground! And the bathhouse was really clean and a great bonus to the end of a long day of hiking the falls! Thanks y’all for being so sweet and having a wonderful space. Can’t wait to come back!
  592. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. Campground was super clean. Great hiking right next door.
  593. ★★★★★ Deluxe Family/Group Tent Sites. I had a great experience here! The campsite had all the necessities and was in a perfect location. The bathrooms were clean and sites were well kept. I’ll definitely be coming back!
  594. ★★★★★ We stayed in a full service campsite for three nights. Quiet, clean, shaded and short walk to awesome waterfall trails. Also drove about 20 minutes to hike Fiery Gizzard with even more wild flowers, waterfalls and swimming holes in these beautiful smoky mountains gorges. May make this a rejuvenating annual pilgrimage!
  595. ★★★★★ Family Vacation. Me and my husband had a blast and will definitely be back. We camped on the primitive camping ground. Loved it so peaceful and relaxing and the folks that run the camp grounds are super nice. Was one of the best weeks by far. Safety: Never once felt unsafe.
  596. ★★★ Family/Group Tent Sites. Clean. Campsites were clean and well maintained. Campsites are a little closer than expected. I could hear folks’ conversations at the other 2 campsites occupied near me.
  597. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. The campground was very clean. I loved my site as it was nestled in the woods. The bathhouse, camp store and convenient location to the trails was perfect!
  598. ★★★★★ Deluxe Group Tent Site- Main Campus. It was a great campsite to get my kids used to camping. Clean restrooms/bathhouse. Definitely will come back!!
  599. ★★★★★ Very spacious and private. The primitive campsites are too beautiful for words. I will definitely be back. Quiet, Great value
  600. ★★★★★ Had a excellent overnight stay in the evening rv park. Nice location
  601. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. Had a pretty great experience the 1st night. The site had a nice layout, and the hiking to the falls was incredible.
  602. ★★★★★ Stayed here after a few changes of plans and was very pleasantly surprised at how great the park was. They have places for RV’s, yurts to rent out, car camping and primitive camping, all of which had thick forest tops above that really helps keep down the temperature in the heat. Beautiful nature all around and the campgrounds are just .25 miles from the trailheads. Beautiful trails, great waterfalls and great people. Every other hiker/camper we met was very friendly and that made me and my friends (who are fairly new to camping) feel very at home. Hardly any light pollution so you can really see the stars too. Great cell service and easy to find your way around. As a Tennessee native I was surprised I had never been before, but will definitely be back.
  603. ★★★★★ Quiet. Amazing!!! Private primative campsites in a quiet area with porta potties. The trailhead for Greeter Falls is only 1/3 of a mile away from the camp. Ashley at the store is the absolute best!!! 10/10 BUT there is exceptionally good cell reception here so if you’re looking for an off the grid campsite this is not it!!
  604. ★★★★★ Muy buen lugar. Es un lugar muy agradable el anfitrión muy amable y servicial. Los baños muy limpios y con un olor muy agradable.. lo recomiendo las cascadas están muy cerca para ir a hacer j a agradable caminata
  605. ★★★★★ Deluxe Family/Group Tent Sites. The campground was absolutely amazing! Great playground with lots of hammocks and seating areas. Cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever had the pleasure of using at a campground. My only complaint is the site was not as pictured on HipCamp and parking was a bit small but had great shade and wood chips to keep the dust and mud down. Overall awesome place to stay!
  606. ★★★★★ Great place to camp – loved the yurt! Close to Greeter Falls. It’s a beautiful area to hike that both my wife and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed. Cleanest bath house I’ve ever seen. Would definitely return.
  607. ★★★★★ Camping with my dog. Hosts were great and all the sites were very well maintained. Loved the.dog park. Would definitely stop there again.
  608. ★★★★ (no Review)
  609. ★★★★★ Deluxe Family/Group Tent Sites. Well kept, quiet. Friendly hosts. Bathrooms and showers were very nice.
  610. ★★★★★ Nice, quiet, peaceful and well kept campground. Spots have great space and are well treed for good shade most of the day. We enjoyed our stay!
  611. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. Cool spot! Impressive waterfall hike nearby. Very friendly hosts!
  612. ★★★★★ Deluxe Family/Group Tent Sites. We had a blast and loved how close the falls were to the campsite. Our campsite was one of the first when you pulled in. The mulch was a nice pad for the tent. The trees were nicely spaced for our hammocks. The fire pit was very nice and we loved having a place to shower after hiking to the falls. Check in was easy and the employees were delightful!
  613. ★★★★★ Deluxe Group Tent Site- Main Campus. Camping close to the Falls. This campground is a great place to get away or to camp a little closer to bathrooms and the mini market if need be. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms and porta-potties are very clean and maintained. The campsites are nice and provide a bench and fire pit at each place. My only gripe, which is minimal, is that there was poison ivy everywhere. It is crowding into the sites, like under the picnic tables and such. You just need to watch where you step. I would recommend this place for families and campers with pets. They have plenty of sites for tents and RV. Lastly, the campground is very close to the falls and hiking. The falls are great for swimming.
  614. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. Great, clean place to camp! Solo female traveler that arrived very late and still felt safe in the area. Definitely hike to Greeter Fall’s. Clear directions and everything is marked. Primitive camping area markings were harder to see when arriving at night than the other sections. Definitely recommend this spot!
  615. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. It was a great adventure, the Greeter Falls were amazing to watch and a it was a great hike to boost my stamina. The site was amazing, full of trees and wildlife to make it feel as if nature were hugging me.
  616. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. It was a nice place would recommend for families and first time camping
  617. ★★★★★ We had a great time at Greeter Falls! The grounds were super nice, and all the staff we interacted with were super helpful and friendly! It’s within walking distance to an incredible hike as well. You’ll love it!
  618. ★★★★★ 2nd round out this secluded beautiful place. Can’t say enough about the upkeep and service you get from the people that run the place. Nice trails. Beautiful water falls and views. Can’t wait for my next visit
  619. ★★★★★ Awesome camping spot. Great grounds keepers. Super helpful, nice and very crafty. Even the camp ground mascot(Jasper) was nice. FHU sites are extremely secluded and felt like we were by ourselves. We stayed in C43. Bath house was by far cleanest one we have come across. This place even delivered ice and firewood. Great hiking trails, activity center and a dog park. Worth every penny and will be returning. Thanks for creating a great/ fun place and environment. Cya soon
  620. ★★★★★ Campsites were awesome and great location to Greeter Falls trailhead. Bath amenities were nice and clean. Would definitely come back!
  621. ★★★★★ Just a great place to camp, quiet peaceful they have placed the camp site’s nicely apart not packed together like a lot of them Really wonderful place to go to get away from all the craziness me and my wife loved it WILL!!!!!!! be back…..
  622. ★★★★★ New campground with a campers dream of space and beauty. Will be back.
  623. ★★★★ The campground itself is great! The particular site we selected (63) was nice, but definitely could benefit from a few modifications. The area where the firepit was placed was very unlevel and made it difficult to use our chairs. As a result, we didn’t use the firepit after the first night. Second, the hookups were conveniently placed close together but were oddly placed on the site. In our case, the hookups are very near the back of our trailer. This meant the back of our trailer was nearly hanging into the road to be lined up nicely with the hookups. So, if you book site 63, I recommend bringing extensions for your sewer and water hookups. We had a great time overall and will be back!
  624. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  625. ★★★★★ Very nice campground. The people were so friendly and helpful
  626. ★★★★★ You can see, that the owner is working with heart, from early morning till late in night, to help all campers and make theirs stay comfortable. The sites, fireplaces and picknicktables are new, clean and well serviced. We wish good luck to this young couple for the future with this campground.
  627. ★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. It was okay. The location was nice the walkways were very muddy and slick with the rain. We also had several problems with people parking in our spot and having to park further away. The bathhouse was nice and clean so that was an up.
  628. ★★★★★ Furnished Yurt- 11′ x 11′ Military. Great experience. The Camp Staff was helpful and this is a perfect stay in the woods- the store has all min items in abundance. The restrooms/shower area is very clean. Loved the experience
  629. ★★★★★ Furnished Yurt- 16′ x 16′ Military. It’s was beautiful please to stay. It was peaceful and quiet. Everything you needed is in walking distance of your camp.
  630. ★★★★★ The campground was clean and well organized. The operators were friendly and very helpful upon arrival. I would consider staying here in the future.
  631. ★★★★★ This was overall a great camp ground to stay in! However I didn’t come prepared as much as I wanted to be, but now I know for next time, I will be! And I will bring friends or family along with me! 🙂
  632. ★★★★★ Beautiful scenery, brand new well-kept sites, friendly service, online reservation system, informative website.
  633. ★★★★★ Regular RV/Camper Sites Camp site and showers/bathroom was clean. We had a good time and would go back again
  634. ★★★★★ Awesome experience overall! We had a large group of 8 adults and 4 kiddos and we were all completely accommodated. We rented the 16’ yurts and loved the campsite format. It was neat in that you could have a shared campfire space or do individual campfires/picnic tables, if you’re not with a larger party. The yurts made it much easier than having to set up tents while chasing children around. All of the yurts had electricity. Just a short walk to multiple porta-potties. We appreciated that a staff member would drive around the campsites to offer fire wood during the evening…very convenient. The camp store was small, but definitely got the job done. The bath/showerhouse was clean. Close enough to the Falls that it can be hiked and TOTALLY worth the hike. I strongly encourage y’all to check out this campground. We’ll be returning for sure!!
  635. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  636. ★★★★ Family Vacation. Nearby activities: Greeter Falls. Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5. highlights: Quiet
  637. ★★★★★ Great spot right near the greeter falls trailhead!
  638. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. Great site for solo females! Quiet, clean, secluded!
  639. ★★★★★ By far the best campground that I have ever stayed at. Clean bathhouse, friendly & accommodating staff and heavily shaded spots. Loved every minute of it!
  640. ★★★★★ Solo Female Camper Approved. 10 outta 10! The host was so accommodating when I asked to change my site because of my roof top tent. I felt safe and secluded. Bathhouse was clean and much needed after a long day of hiking and driving. *Tip* If you’re camping in the primitive camping area, don’t assume you can pull into your camp spot. Most spots are walk in. Ask host and they can point you in a good direction.
  641. ★★★★★ Wonderful experience! Right next to Greeter Falls. They do an excellent job on making you feel like you’re staying at more than just another tent/RV site. They have a lot of character by adding stuff like several community hang out out spots to do things as well as a little dog park. Love the little paths they make around the sites as well. Very cute. Everything is maintained very well(bathrooms, trails, sites). One of my favorite campsites across all of Tennessee and North Carolina that I’ve had the chance to stay at. Highly Recommend!
  642. ★★★★★ Deluxe Family/Group Tent Sites. Monique was super helpful and friendly. Tent site could use a bit more mulch but overall had a blast. Definitely would recommend.
  643. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  644. ★★★★★ Primitive camp site. The camp site was clean and well managed. It was in a heavily wooded and quiet. The bathhouse was clean and maintained. Check-in was a bit confusing. Once you view the maps that are posted or on the website (not posted on hip camp) it’s relatively easy to navigate. There was a spot where I could have unloaded closer to the camp site but that wasn’t communicated and didn’t see it until the next day. I would definitely post the map in hip camp and have clearer instructions for campers at check in especially when it’s a late check in. Greeter Falls hike was nice. But other than that there really isn’t any other touristy things to do.
  645. ★★★★★ Nice privately owned (apparently) campground. Located walking distance from Greeter Falls Trailhead it would seem to cater to folks wanting to enjoy the Savage Gulf area. The campground has numerous tent sites, sites with wall tents that are already set up with cots and chairs as well as RV sites. The RV sites have water and 30/50 amp hookups. The campground is wooded and rolling. The driveways are gravel and narrow in spots, but definitely manageable with an RV. I wouldn’t say it’s big rig friendly, but if you are careful, you can get into your site. We have a 35′ class A and had no problems. The sites seem to be generally level, but it looks like some of them might be a bit tricky for a motorhome. The website for reservations is excellent. Not many restaurants or stores nearby.
  646. ★★★★★ Greeter Falls Campground and RV Park was excellent, we stayed 7 nights and really enjoyed ate time there out in the woods at the campground , our Rv site had full hook ups and the location was excellent too , the staff running the place were very nice and helpful too , I would recommend this place as it is a great place to relax and take a few hikes to the water falls and the blue hole swimming hole close to the campground , it was so nice and quiet and peaceful there
  647. ★★★★★ Great weekend…loved location, campground was quiet, clean, young lady working was very professional, customer oriented, went the extra mile several times over. She needs a pay raise. She obviously has a lot to do with what makes the place what it is. Opps, almost forgot “Jasper” the Wonder dog deserves an extra treat a day. Seriously great stay, will be back at some time in the future.
  648. ★★★★★ I highly recommend this campground! There are spots available to bring your own tent, use pre-assembled tents (with lighting, power, beds and chairs!), or bring your RV. The bathhouse is very clean. They also have friendly staff at the camp store.
  649. ★★★★★ Not good internet service
  650. ★★★★★ Deluxe Family/Group Tent Sites. Awesome camp. We enjoyed it. Good stay and location.
  651. ★★★★★ Regular RV/Camper Sites. Sites were far apart and very rustic! Site was clean, shaded and level. Staff was friendly and bathrooms were clean. We will be back forsure
  652. ★★★★★ This campground is brand new and both looks and feels it. It has many sites which are well spaced and heavily wooded. The bathrooms are beautifully appointed (although the stall doors are a bit low) and the electric, water and sewer all worked perfectly despite severe storms rolling through several times during our stay. The staff is particularly wonderful. Plus: you are right next to Greeter Falls at the entrance to Savage Gulf State Natural Area with more than 50 miles of trails available. A bit of a warning: this really is a wilderness retreat:But if you want a calm, peaceful week in the woods I can’t think of a better spot!
  653. ★★★★★ Lovely campground. Quiet, Kid-friendly. 5/5
  654. ★★★★★ This is a perfect place to recharge!! We loved our stay and plan to be back every year!!!
  655. ★★★★★ Just started staying here but absolutely love it. They way he has set it up is absolutely beautiful the sites are spread out so you have some privacy. I love that he has left so many trees. If anyone is in this area to camp to me this is a absolutely most try.
  656. ★★★★★ “Beautiful, rustic area, great for hiking. ”Loved the campground, clean, beautiful, peaceful and great hiking. Office and camp store very nice, shower house clean. We camped at Greeter Falls Campground in a Motorhome.
  657. ★★★★★ Booked two rv sites for this past Labor Day weekend for my wife and I and her sister’s family. Very easy to get to, paved roads. We stayed in Area C (sites 41 & 42) which is considered the Main Campus, has the camp office and bath house there. Our rv sites were gravel, required some leveling, had FHUs. 50/30/20 amp service, water and sewer of course. All worked great, no issues. Site included a trash can, fire pit with affixed grill and a picnic table. Bathhouse is code locked and was clean. They have a fenced in dog park area centrally located in area c, seemed of good size with lots of trees. They have a little sand pit area for kids to play in. The staff are very friendly.
  658. ★★★★ For primitive get the walk to your site spots for the lesser money, its worth it if you don’t have a ton of stuff. Some sites are only about 10-20 feet from your vehicle. The bath house was excellent, brand new. It was a good experience and an excellent place to camp to get up and do the Greeter Falls hike the next morning! Recommend the hike, it was beautiful and not strenuous.
  659. ★★★ Staff Was Nice But My Issue Is we had a tent site and The Site Never Said You Had To Walk To The Camp Site. It’s Not A Far Walk But I Wasn’t Prepared To Walk Our Stuff To The camp Site. They Helped Us Change To A Rv spot And Was Nice.
  660. ★★★★★ It’s so beautiful here and peaceful and the owner is so nice and helpful and will help u with anything. Also the cam is so sweet and caring and will also help u with anything. I highly recommend here for sure!!
  661. It was a welcomed relaxing retreat for our family. 5 stars plus so much more! We camped at Greeter Falls Campground in a Travel Trailer.
  662. ★★★★★ “Beautifully nestled in the mountains, with waterfalls and hiking trails close by. ” Beautiful place, relaxing and serene, with plenty of hiking trails through the mountains to different waterfalls, offering an array of endurance levels to suit most people. We camped at Greeter Falls Campground in a Travel Trailer.
  663. ★★★★ Fantastic campground. The Camp Hostess is a hard working service oriented host. Just understand there are no picnic tables in the primitive sites.
  664. ★★★★★ Went to Chattanooga for the day and stayed here! ONLY regret we only stayed one night. Great staff, was helped by The Camp Hostess! The hiking on site was terrific! Four beaitful waterfalls and a swimming hole. It was magical and well maintained. Great view, Quiet, Great value
  665. ★★★★★ Regular RV/Camper Sites. We really the camp site, very nice. Our dog enjoyed the dog park. It’s the best one we’ve seen at a campground. The bathhouse was clean and one of the nicest we’ve seen at a campground
  666. ★★★★★ Family/Group Tent Sites. Very clean campsites everyone was very friendly and helpful and you have to make sure to stop in and say hi to jasper the campground dog.
  667. ★★★ Regular RV/Camper Sites Pros: Proximity to Greeter Falls and hiking. Site water and electric worked. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Campground is easy to find and well marked. Cons: Usable area within sites is very (very) small and, at least in #45, covered in poison oak/ivy and sumac. Spent first hour cutting poison plants out of the the ‘usable’ areas in the site. Site 45 is also situated against a small hill on the door side of an RV, making entry/egress from the rig unpleasant. This campground has potential, but needs a lot of maintenance.
  668. ★★★★★ Fantastic place with super spacious sites. Wooded sites with room to stretch out. Super friendly staff and just down the road from Greeter Falls Trail Head. Highly recommended and would definitely go back if passing through.
  669. ★★★★★ Really liked it will be going back.good camp sites and the people very helpful an friendly. An several waterfalls near by Amazing
  670. ★★★★★ We really enjoyed our stay! Within minutes of several waterfall hikes! Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5
  671. ★★★★★ This place is a hidden gem. Nice camp ground with a very clean bathhouse, a little store with the camping necessities, and friendly employees. If you’re here you need to take a hike to the falls. They’re just a short walk away from the campsite. All the trails are east to moderate hikes with beautiful views of the falls
  672. ★★★★★ I enjoyed this campground. Close to some amazing trails leading to beautiful waterfalls and swimming spots. The campgrounds shower house is new, spacious and very clean. The young girl who works there is very sweet.
  673. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  674. ★★★★★ Premium RV/Camper Sites. Greeter Falls Campground is a gem! The sites are clean and spacious. The easy access to the falls is a huge plus as well! Lots to do, but even just hanging out at the site is a serene experience.
  675. ★★★★★ What a great surprise! My family was planning a weekend camping trip, and a friend suggested we check out Greeter Falls Campground. This place exceeded our expectations! It was clean and well organized. The staff was super welcoming and helpful. And, most importantly, it is located less than a 1/3 of a mile from several trails (e.g., Greeter Falls, Boardtree Falls, West Blue Hole, Ranger Falls). We walked from our tent to Greeter Falls. This is a very family-friendly place and less than 2 hours from Nashville. We’ll be back!
  676. ★★★★★ This campground has been open less than a year. A wide variety of site types are offered from full hook up to primitive. Yurts also available. The loops for tents and primitive camping are separate from the rv loops. Bathhouse was clean and nice. Nice dog run. Walking distance to great trailhead of Greeter Fallls. Short drive to many other excellent trailheads at Savage Gulf, Fiery Gizzard and othe great South Cumberland trails. Small amphitheater and game room. Small store. Wonderful, helpful hosts. Beautiful setting in the forest with birdsong serenade. We will be back.
  677. ★★★★★ This was one of the best campgrounds I have been too. Quiet and serene and most of all it was a really good price! The Camp hosts are amazing people too. If I could rate them a 10 out of 5 I would. Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Great value
  678. ★★★★★ Quiet. Walkability: Easy strolling around the area!
  679. ★★★★★ Greeter Falls Campground, Altamont, TN. Really nice campground, good service at camp office and shop. Beautiful sites, peaceful and a great hike to 3 waterfalls.
  680. ★★★★★ This is a beautiful place and a really nice campground. Host was very nice, clean, and the sites are spaced out. They have thought of everything!
  681. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. AMAZING. Loveeee the area! Bathrooms are super clean and they had essentials like ice and firewood to buy that came in very convenient. I had an excellent stay and the waterfalls were amazing! Would definitely go again.
  682. ★★★★★ Regular RV/Camper Sites. Great space hidden away!! Very private and quiet. Lots of trails and waterfalls around. Not great reception but I was still able to work and make phone calls
  683. ★★★★★ Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value. This was our first time at Greeter Falls. It’s a very clean park, restrooms were immaculate, staff was very friendly and helpful and our site was very roomy and easy to get in with our 40’ fifth wheel. It was easy access to get there from Chattanooga. It’s within walking distance to Greeter Falls State Park which is full of waterfalls and a swimming hole. If you like camping in the mountains, you’ll love this park. We will return for sure!
  684. ★★★★★ Beautiful campground, very friendly staff, quiet. Will be back very soon. Dog friendly. Pictures added of nearby park within walking distance.
  685. ★★★★★ We were very happy with our stay! The spacing of the campsites are nice and the private fenced in dog park was awesome. Every campground should have that available. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Greeter Falls Campground is definitely a do over. We plan to visit there again.
  686. ★★★★★ Military Furnished Yurt. Great experience! Absolutely perfect stay. Beautiful land, spacious tent, privacy, close trails and waterfalls. Also, Monique is probably the best host I have ever seen. She was so kind, helpful, welcoming, and well-informed. I will be back as soon as possible!
  687. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. Our stay was amazing! Beautiful and very clean campgrounds. Staff were friendly and helpful.
  688. ★★★★★ This is Greeter Falls Campground in Altamont TN, site 43. Sites are a bit narrow and some short. $60 daily. We camped midweek and were the only ones here. Hosts are nice. They have FHU with picnic table, fire ring and trash can. Waterfalls are close with nice hiking trails. I would call them intermediate. Season has been dry so falls did not have much of a show, but pups still enjoyed.
  689. ★★★★★ Spacious camp sites in a beautiful wooded setting. Level sites, primitive to full hookups, and friendly staff. Walking distance to some great hiking trails and some amazing waterfalls. Loved it.
  690. ★★★★★ Enjoyed our stay at Greeter Falls. Nice campground, walking distance to Greeter Falls loop. 10 minutes from Savage Gulf. We ate well. Saturday night campfire Roasted Brats and hot dogs, corn we brought from Wesley’s Marketplace, campfire mac and cheese, and smores for dessert. It was cold so we bundled up.
  691. ★★★★★ Deluxe Family/Group Tent Sites. Awesome camp site! Plenty of room and privacy. Central bath house and friendly staff. Steps away from Greeter Falls trailhead. Would definitely go back!
  692. ★★★★★ Wonderful hike! Beautiful falls! Want to go back in the summer time!!!
  693. ★★★ Nice, new campground. Right around the corner from the Greeters Falls trailhead which made it convenient. Cute little camp store & bathhouse. Be sure to check the site measurements. Our only complaint was the site size & distance to our neighbor. We stayed at primitive site 1. Flat area for your tent, then a slight slope towards the walkway. A fire pit is provided. Again, just close to the tent because of the site size. Overall a good place to stay with a nice walkway to the site & potty / water / trash fairly close, just notice the size before booking.
  694. ★★★★★ Awesome camp site! Plenty of room and privacy. Central bath house and friendly staff. Steps away from Greeter Falls trailhead. Would definitely go back!
  695. ★★★★★ Great campground just around the corner from the falls, nice site with firepit, electric and water pump. Clean, secured bathhouse a short walk away as well as a wee store and a fenced in dog play area. Sweet and helpful hosts. Hope to be back!
  696. ★★★★★ Awesome campground for our small RV – cleanest restrooms and showers we have ever seen and very friendly/knowledgeable staff! We will definitely be back and thank you for a wonderful camping experience!!!
  697. ★★★★ Great service and Robert the owner personally attended to any needs we may have needed. We had a large group and they handle our large size wonderfully!! Definitely recommend this place to camp and they also have great hiking close by.
  698. ★★★★★ Amazing campsite truly top shelf. The whole campground is very well maintained and the proximity to the falls is awesome too
  699. ★★★★★ The camp was terrific – the person in the camp store was super friendly! I would go back to this camp again in a heartbeat. However, I wish Hipcamp had given us a way to choose our specific site.
  700. ★ The only good thing about this campground was it’s location to the falls. Bathrooms were nice and clean but not very close and needed a code to get in which was confusing. Had to park on the road to unload the car and walk through the woods since it was closer to the path they provide.
  701. ★★★★★ Great site! Tent camped & the spaces were well spread out. Bathhouse was nice too. Clean & hot water!
  702. ★★★★★ Great place, great staff. The site was wonderful. Really friendly staff. Super clean restrooms. We had a great trip and will return.
  703. ★★★★★ The terrain for this hike is a little difficult, so please be careful. There were plenty of kids on the side as well as dogs, which I thought was great. There is an upper and lower trail you can take to the waterfall. I highly recommend the lower trail. There is a winding staircase and then a staircase you have to go down that is wood and then after that and other staircase that is metal, so definitely wear a good hiking shoes or even spikes You can make this trailer full circle instead of backtracking. Just make sure you check out the all trails app. We spent about two hours here, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area
  705. ★★★★★ Great experience and people were so nice! Little pricey but it was worth it
  706. ★★★★★ Primitive Camping <3. Great primitive campsite! The trails to the falls are only half a mile from them, there’s intermediate trails and ones for those more experienced. Peaceful area, low populated and beautifully preserved. Also the cell service was great and the bath house was very clean.
  707. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Sites. Great campsite. Well-equipped camp store. Clean bathrooms. Friendly and helpful hosts.
  708. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  709. ★★★★★ We stayed during the week so we almost had the campground to ourselves. People started pulling in on Friday. Lot 69 is where we stayed. Big level lot with full hookups. Easy to back in even if you are novice. The dogs loved their play area.
  710. ★★★★★ Good for backpackers! We have camped here twice in the past 2 weeks! Wonderful campsites, wooded area, bathhouses, and very helpful and nice staff! The waterfalls were amazing which are close by. I would highly recommend this campground! We will definitely be back.
  711. ★★★★★ We came down with our friends and their pop up. It was by far the best place we’ve camped at! This place has the best owners and staff. So friendly, communicative, and always working to provide the best experience/ improve their place. When we are there, it was in the teens for temperature one night! A transformer blew in the distance knocking out the power for 3 towns. They updated us 4 times in the 2 hours the electric was out. They were easy to work with, easy to book, and everything looked brand new! There is activity center, wonderful bath house, and water pump, firepit with attachable grill, and picnic table. There is even a little store and campground office. Will use again in summer sometime!
  712. ★★★★★ Great host! We loved this campsite and our host was very accommodating!!
  713. ★★★★★ Was the cutest place, with everything you need, but not to much to feel like a hotel. Great people, very clean, money well spent!
  714. ★★★★★ This was our first camping trip. This campground is very spacious and nice, very friendly staff. Especially the young lady that checked us in, never got her name but she was very friendly and so happy. Only thing I would suggest is maybe some lights, for night travel to the bathhouse, and the briers to be cut down in the dog park. Other than that our stay was great, we even stayed an extra night. Would definitely be a return camper.
  715. ★★★★★ The Camp Hosts were incredibly accommodating. Even on their day off they helped us find a site to stay for the next few days while my friends and I were in serious need. The site was gorgeous, flat and a clay esc bottom that was nice for the tent setup. Nearby there is incredible scenery that The Camp Hostess was more than happy giving directions to. 10/10 location and even better staff
  716. ★★★★★ Really nice campground. Site 64 is very private and comes with a dog park! Would stay again if we were in the area.
  717. ★★★★★ We had a great time camping in our yurt at Greeter falls campground. The entire facility was really clean and neat. The Camp Hostess and the camp staff was very accommodating to us and made us feel very welcome. I would recommend coming here and hiking the nearby falls as well! A+
  718. ★★★★★ I can’t brag enough about how nice this location is, along with the layout of the campgrounds. 10/10 will return and suggest this to everyone! Incredible how clean the restroom facilities are, and how accommodating the yurts are! We had the military style and it was perfect!
  719. ★★★★★ RV & Camper Sites. Great new-looking campground with great sites, fire pits, and even a dog park. Right down the road from the Greeter Falls Trail. Would love to come back and stay again!
  720. ★★★★★ First time camping at Greeter Falls Campground. It was a great experience. Firewood was delivered within 5 mins of our arrival. Bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve ever been in at a campsite. Wet quiet campsite close to beautiful waterfalls. Our family will definitely be back.
  721. ★★★★★ Well maintained campground, attentive staff, great location to beautiful hiking.
  722. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Camping. This was a wonderful area.Host was friendly. Bathhouse was clean. Great hiking.
  723. ★★★★★ RV & Camper Sites. Very nice campground! Nice hiking trails close by. Pretty remote camping with good Wi-Fi.
  724. ★★★★ Nice Campground. We stayed at the campground for a week and were a little disappointed. Our campsite was uneven and our fire pit was too close to our RV. I know we were out in the woods but the leaves were so thick you could not see what was under them. However, when we went to them, they cleared off a spot for our cook tent; which we decided not to put up. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The surrounding area is a serious hiker’s dream, but other than hiking, there isn’t much else to do.

  726. ★★★ The campground was really nice. Good layout with plenty of space. Our issue was with the office and electricity. We only plugged in our griddle and the power would go out, lights and all, for 10 or 15 minutes. The woman informed me that the electricity is really only meant for lights and not to be used for cooking.
  727. ★★★★★ Car & Truck Camping. Fantastic stay! We have a tent that goes on the back of our truck. We particularly loved that we could set that up when we arrived and didn’t have to take it back down until we left. The hiking trails were fantastic and within walking distance of our campsite. The amenities were clean and the hosts were helpful and friendly.
  728. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Camping. I planned a birthday camping for my boyfriend and we had a fantastic time even with the on and off raining.
  729. ★★★★★ “Great location for hiking” Nice campground in the woods that is close to many great hiking trails such as Greeter falls, Suter falls & Horsepound falls as well as Stone Door trail, to name a few. The roads and sites in the campground are all gravel. We were able to navigate to our site with our 37 ft Motorhome without issues (we did disconnect our tow before arriving). The only issue was the location of our water & electric – both were at the front of our back-in site (site 44). Luckily we had an extension cord for our 50Amp and our water hose was long enough. Sewer was in the normal spot, near the back of the lot. For cell service, we had a good Verizon signal at 120 Mbps. T-Mobile was not so good at 2-10 Mbps. Overall, happy with the campground and we plan on returning. We camped at Greeter Falls Campground in a Motorhome.
  730. ★★★★★ Un lugar agradable y único. Super limpio y seguro. Lo mejor fue que al amanecer solo vez árboles y todo es tranquilidad. (Translated by Google A nice and unique place. Super clean and safe. The best thing was that at dawn you only see trees and everything is calm.
  731. ★★★★★We really enjoyed our long weekend at Greeter Falls Campground. The price is amazing and the campground is lovely. The bathhouse was very clean which is always a plus.
  732. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  733. ★★★★★ Cozy Campground. Very cozy and clean! Easy to find and not far from many trails. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This was one of the first camp grounds that we actually hung out at. We will definitely be back.
  734. ★★★★★ Great place to stay very friendly people. Close to a lot of hiking areas.
  735. ★★★★★ Great campground with nice fire pit. Clean bath house and extremely friendly staff.
  736. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Camping. Cozy spot! It was a nice cozy spot. I really liked the walkway to your tent site. I also liked that there was a bathhouse on premise and portable water. The location is well within walking distance to Greeter Falls. 10/10 would camp here again!
  737. ★★★ You really can’t beat the location of this campground. Greeter falls, Stone Door and the entire Savage Gulf is super accessible. My only complaint was the wifi didn’t work our entire 4 day stay and the “play ground” isn’t a play ground. It’s a large sandbox. The Community Center / Activity Center was great for our 3 kids and friends. The weather was cold and that place was a life saver when we needed a break from the cold.
  738. ★★★★★ Car & Truck Camping. Great sites that had good spacing. Clean bathrooms and both workers were excellent. Def would stay there again.
★★★★★ Family/Group Tent Camping. Camping in Comfort. We had a great night camping on Roberts land and loved being able to spend time in the woods while also having the comfort of showers/toilets/water/electricity.
  739. ★★★★★ RV & Camper Sites. It was closer to others than I thought it would be but still a great experience. You still have a lot of room. It’s definitely not like campgrounds that feel like parking lots. Camp host was very cool. Walking distance to several hiking trails. Ten minutes from IMO the best option. The stone door trail. We’ll camp here again
  740. ★★★★★ Greeter Falls Campground was fabulous! The sites are very nice, lots of wooded area surrounding, super close to the hiking trails of different falls, and the campground itself has super nice touches (like dog park, acitivity center, very clean bathhouse)that show how much love and care have been put into it. The people managing here are so kind and helpful. Loved the stay and looking forward to returning!

  742. ★★ I’m conflicted on this place. It’s really close to the Blue Hole Trailer/Greeter Falls which is great. But, the campground was very frustrating for us and we only stayed 1 of the 2 reserved nights. While the sites are larger than the KOA types, many of the sites have the firepits, tables and sitting areas right on top of each other. So, we’re not normally high maintenance despite us asking to move 4x and, ultimately, we found something that worked. If you’re ok being very close to your camping neighbors, then maybe this place is fine for you.
  743. ★★★★★ This place was beautiful. We used the primitive campsite. We came at the perfect time of year so you can watch the leaves fall. We will definitely be back. Affordable and people are very friendly.
  744. ★★★★★ Great time at Greeter Falls campground. The staff was fantastic, the sites were clean easy to get in and out of, and the bath house was immaculate. Will definitely be back.
  745. ★★★★★ Quiet getaway. Wonderful, helpful and super nice Staff. The campground was nice and wooded, you aren’t on top of people. Big dog park that our pups loved. Would 100% come back! Sites were a bit narrow, but not too much that it impacted our slides. Great fire pit. Gravel roads were nicely maintained and it was easy to navigate our 34’ camper.
  746. ★★★★★ Family get away. Very helpful staff upon arrival someone even stopped by later during the day to ask if we needed anything Location is close to waterfalls and some other cool places like stone door. The only bad thing for my primitive camping site was Not being able to back up my vehicle to site so you have to carry everything to your site.
  747. ★★★★★ This is a great privately owned campground. The sites and electrical pedestals are brand new, bathrooms/showers are super clean, and the campground is in walking distance to some epic swimming holes and waterfalls. The hosts are friendly and attentive. 10/10 service. Make sure you play the washer toss game while you enjoy a frosty beverage of your choice. Would definitely stay here again.
  748. ★★★★★ We really enjoyed our first stay with you. Everything was new and clean. Campsite was easy to find. Area was beautiful and quiet. Everyone was very helpful. The only negative I have is that the bathrooms are a long walk away from some of the camping areas and there was no port a potty near us. We were in D85 camping out of our truck and had to walk all the way to the main bathrooms. Our stay would have been perfect if there was a port a potty or bathroom near all camping areas.
  749. ★★★★★ We had a fun time in the tent camping. It was actually very easy to get to and at the same time felt like we were camping in the middle of the woods. Staff was very friendly as well.
  750. ★★★★★ Altcamping Like A Pro. We had a great time tent camping at Greeter Falls Campground! It’s only been around about a year and it is constantly being improved (so don’t go into it expecting KOA or anything). The camp staff are very friendly and helpful. The bathhouse is clean and stylish. The community center has board games, dvds, and even an upright piano! And, of course, it’s only like half a mile down the road from the Greeter Falls trailhead with waterfalls you can swim at. I highly recommend this campground.
  751. ★★★★★ Furnished Yurts (Glamping). We had a perfect weekend in one of the yurts on the campground. Good distance between sites so felt very private even when we did have neighbors. Picnic table and fire ring just a few steps away from yurt. The bath house with showers and toilets was impeccably clean. Greeter Falls trail was just a few minutes drive away from our campsite. Highly recommend!
  752. ★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Camping. A near by dog barked all night so I was not able to sleep so I decided I didn’t want to risk another night like that and packed up and left although I had paid for a second night.
  753. ★★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Camping. I was in the area for business and only used the site as a place to sleep, but felt right at home and would’ve loved to spend more time on the site. The Camp Hostess was exceptionally sweet and light the place up with their energy, and it feels like you’re in deep woods even though you’re near roads, amenities, and other campsites. Greeter Falls is also a great short hike, with options to go further to more falls that I wish I’d had time to take. I hope to be back some day.
  754. ★★★★★ Furnished Yurts (Glamping). Great community campsite with lots of options. Yurt/glamping was easy and excellent. Setup, beds and sleeping bags, and fire pit all ready for us! Bathhouse and amenities a quick walk away and incredibly close to Greeter falls trailhead and all the fun we came down for. Helpful and present staff and an overall great experience!
  755. ★★★★ Solo/Duo Tent Camping. Too close to other sites and uneven grounds for tents. Overall safe place with great staff and facilities.
  756. ★★★★★ RV & Camper Sites. The Camp Hostess and the gang were very accommodating and very friendly. The spots were spread out nicely and wooded and the bathhouse was super clean with really hot water. The trailhead was a very short hike down the road! Excellent place!!!
  757. ★★★★★ Furnished Yurts (Glamping). Fun girls weekend. We had such an amazing time at the yurts. 6 girls in all, we all felt very safe and looked after. The staff was INCREDIBLE and did everything to make our time there comfortable & fun. We will definitely be going back!
  758. ★★★★★ Simply the best!! I will definitely be back here! The Camp Hostess was so kind. Very dog friendly. Clean bathrooms! Loved it!!
  759. ★★★★★ The experience staying here was Amazing! All the areas have decent amount of space to set up tents. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful for what we needed. Stargazing here was amazing. It is about a mile hike to the waterfalls and it was worth it. Just be sure to reach by daylight so that you can set up your tents with ease. We were late and being inexperienced campers we were given extra lantern lights! Also the camp toilets were extremely clean!
  760. ★★★★★ Hello! I’m very happy to review my recent stay at Greeter Falls. This campground is a great place! It’s a beautiful spot, everything was well organized, the bathrooms were totally clean and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Really great vibe. Highly recommended! Thanks for everything! We had such a great time!
  761. ★★★★★ Our space (#24) felt a little small for three people and one large tent, but it was cozy and private and we enjoyed our stay. Loved the short walk to the trailhead!
  762. ★★★★★ Not sure how this place doesn’t have any Yelp reviews yet but if you’re considering going on a camping trip I HIGHLY recommend Greeter Falls! – This was my first camping trip and I was so impressed with this place! – We booked through the Hipcamp app with Robert T. For solo/duo camping for only 19$/night. – When we arrived, it was very easy to find the place. We went to the front welcome center and the girl who checked us in was so sweet and friendly. She explained everything and gave us a little magnet souvenir and map! – The bathhouse was also at the welcome area and there were a few stalls with toilets and showers and sinks with mirrors. The bathhouse was very clean and required a code so only guests could use it. – our campsite was right across the street. There was parking and all of the sites were in a row but there were trees in between each site and they each were down their own little path for privacy. – the site had room for a tent, and had a fire pit with a grill and a little hay bale bench. – we had purchased firewood for 5$ when we reserved the spot which was perfect and just enough to have a fire for s’mores and hot dogs. We had to add in some twigs to get it going though of course. – The site had our initials and dates and everything on a little sign on the tree so it was easy to see which spot was ours. – it was very quiet and safe! – there were bugs of course because we were outside but I wouldn’t say it was anything overwhelming by any means (and I am really not very outdoorsy) – we walked to the greeter falls waterfall (but there are several in the area, we only had time for one though. – the waterfall was so beautiful. It is definitely a hike though. We walked directly on the road from our camp but you can drive and park right in front of the entrance. – once you enter the woods there are signs pointing to the paths for each waterfall. – the greeter falls waterfall definitely goes down into like a gorge or canyon I guess you could say. You will have to go down steep stairs and rocks to get there so definitely wear proper shoes and you really have to watch your step. – it is very much worth it though. It is such a cool place but make sure you leave before dark so you can see where you are stepping. – the waterfall has a big area for swimming that is very deep. It was really cold at the end of September but we still swam for a bit. I would definitely come back here. It was extremely simple to access and book. The camp was clean and very nice for first time campers especially and the office/welcome center is open until 9pm making it easy to checkin whenever you arrive!
  763. ★★★★★ Booked two rv sites for this past Labor Day weekend for my wife and I and her sister’s family. Very easy to get to, paved roads. This campground is a little over a year old. My camper is 23 ft long and tow vehicle is an F150. I unhooked and had just enough room to park off to the side in front of my camper. The spots are very spaced so if you don’t have room like that you may be able to park beside the site like my in laws did. While we didn’t use them, they have an activity room, saw a projector screen in there and a table, they had an area behind the activity room, kind of like an outdoor hangout, lights, fire pit , chairs. Bathhouse is code locked and was clean. They have a fenced in dog park area centrally located in area C, seemed of good size with lots of trees. They have a little sand pit area for kids to play in. The staff are very friendly. They have a small camp store just down the road from the entrance to the campground. Just past the camp store is the trailhead to the water falls. There are 4 waterfalls according to their map. The upper falls was pretty cool. We couldn’t make it to all of the falls. They do have free wifi available but I can’t speak much on it. I have Verizon and had 3 bars and LTE and the data signal was strong for me. Was able to stream, FaceTime, pretty much whatever I wanted. Of course, I’m not sure if it’s like the everywhere in the campground, but where I was it worked great. Overall, very pleased with our stay and definitely want to come back when we’re doing better to check out all the falls and do some swimming.
  764. ★★★★★ We had a Wonderful weekend at Greeter Falls! Great facilities and very friendly management & hosts! We will be back
  765. ★★★★★ What a beautiful little campground tucked away in the pines! I was pleasantly surprised at this place, as when we were pulling in it was kind of out of the way and we didn’t know what to expect. Stayed here for about 3 nights with our 26ft travel trailer. Site was a bit small, however plenty of space between sites. All of the campsites are nestled in the trees in their own little cubbies and you get the feeling of being fully immersed in nature. This campground was QUIET. Not crowded. And perfect for relaxing and enjoying your family time. The bathrooms and showers were very nice and always clean. They have a little shed which is a game room containing a projector screen with movies you can watch and loads of board games. We spent an entire rainy day in there watching old James Bond movies and playing cards – they had also just put in a washer game on the outside. The owners and management were all extremely welcoming and nice. You could not beat this for the price. The only down side was having to drive about 30 miles to buy beer/wine, but I get a feeling it is this way all over these little TN towns. Very close to hiking at Greeter Falls and a short drive to Fallcreek Falls which is spectacular! Would definitely recommend for anyone.
  766. ★★★★★ Absolutely loved camping at Greeter Falls Campground. It was beautiful and plenty quiet. Even if there’s several people camping on a loop they spread you out so you have space. The camp hosts were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The hikes nearby were wonderful as well. Absolutely recommend.
  767. ★★★★★ Thanks so much for such a wonderful stay! Everything was wonderful!
  768. ★★★★★ The nicest showers and restrooms I have seen at a campground. Very friendly and helpful staff.
  769. ★★★★★ Campsite was well managed and easy to navigate. Clean, easy to access bathrooms and shower. Easy hike from campsite to Greeter Falls. Will for sure be back!
  770. ★★★★★ Thank you for the fun, rainy weekend! You have beautiful campground and we will be back!
  771. ★★★★★ The guy at the office was extremely helpful. He helped me find a better location and where to park to unload my stuff. There needs to be a disclaimer or instructions about the parking lot not being close to a sites.
  772. ★★★★★ The staff was very nice and helpful. We stayed at camp site #7. The site was great and had plenty of trees to hang a hammock from.
  773. ★★★★★ The campground was amazing for a private campground. Camp area was under beautiful canopy of trees. Showers were super clean. Campgrounds were very clean. Hosts were incredibly nice! As long as you check your campsite dimensions before you come, you’ll be a happy camper. 0.5 mile walk to the greeter falls trailhead.
  774. ★★★★★ The staff at the camp ground were fantastic. They were there when I arrived and offered help getting backed in and connected. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The sites size was perfect for the family including our fluffy members. Everything was clean and well maintained. Its very close to Nashville and made a quick trip into Chattanooga for the farmers market and the lodge cast iron factory. We will be staying here again.
  775. ★★★★★ We stayed in primitive camping #3 on Labor day weekend. WOW!!! Loved this place. The primitive section was quiet and secluded and super woodsy. Also everything was tidy and clean (the porto potties were miraculously spotless and there was no trash anywhere). Great location, super friendly staff at the little store! Highly recommend.
  776. ★★★ I was at Greeter Falls from Friday to Sunday. Need I say the Yurts was not as I expected. From the website they look a lot bigger then in person. I know it’s not the owner fault it down poured rained Saturday night all night. My bedding and clothes all got wet. My other friends in the third yurt bedding got wet as well. We had a good time at Greeter Falls. The hiking was great to the falls though it was no water fall. We got great photos still. But the yurt experience was NOT great.
  777. ★★★★★ Beautiful campgrounds. We had an excellent stay at the campground, the sites had plenty of space and clean! We had the pleasure of meeting the new cohosts and the owner who went out of their way to make sure our stay was awesome! We will certainly return.
  778. ★★★★★ New campground carved into a beautiful wooded setting. A/C shower house. Great service from camp hosts. Thank you for a memorable experience!
  779. ★★★★★ Thank you for sharing this beautiful site with us, Robert! Everything was amazing and we had a great time.
  780. ★★★★★ Everything was great appreciated the availability to move our camper because the first site didn’t work for us. We had a great time
  781. ★★★★★ All around great experience. Needed a little more than what we asked for and they were very happy to comply. Not a camp ground where you are almost touching the neighbors (more primitive)and well taken care of. And if any services were needed they were on top of it. Clean bath houses. Didn’t ask if they sprayed for Misquito but didn’t have any issues with them. Very close to hiking trails water falls and swimming hole. Very pleased we will visit again.
  782. ★★★★★ We stayed here August 25th-28th. We really enjoyed this campground. All the host were nice and checked on us daily. (Just driving by and asking how we were and Id we needwd anything.) The campsites were spaced out allowing privacy. The dump station is under construction but they pumped out our tank free of charge at our campsite which was very nice. The bathrooms were clean and the campground was clean. It was a very nice and relaxing get away and we will be back.
  783. ★★★★★ Such a great campground! Spacious and woodsy with still great comfort and amenities. There was an activity cabin and enclosed sand pit the kids loved and a short walk to beautiful waterfalls, rock views, and swimming holes. Thankyou Greeter Falls Campground! We will absolutely be back.
  784. ★★★★★ I stayed in site D67 and love our very spacious site. We love how the sites are laid out with plenty of trees and privacy. Tricks was very nice and helpful. We lite up the night there. We will be back!! Highly recommended!!
  785. ★★★★★ We had such a wonderful time camping here! Upon arrival to our campsite, I realized the site I booked was further away from everyone than I thought (which is great when you don’t want to be around people!). Being 3 small females on our own, we felt uncomfortable being so far from other people for safety reasons. Our wonderful campground hosts were so kind and allowed us to move/upgrade our spot immediately. They were so friendly and helpful the entire time! The bath house is very clean and nice. The campground is super close to several popular trailheads. Overall, it was a great stay!
  786. ★★★★★ We had an exceptional time this weekend! The campground is well laid out and we loved everything about the place! Can’t wait to come back! The Camp Hostess helped me with getting set up.
  787. ★★★★★ Loved this new campground. Not sure if it was an off weekend but we had the entire section D to ourselves after one other camper left. Sites are not exactly level. They need to finish up the dump station but you can have them pump out or just pull up to the few sites, if they are empty, that have septic hook ups when you leave. Great staff. Our first trip to TN and we loved the area. Lots of hiking trails and waterfalls. Although falls were pretty light this time of year. 4 stars only because of some unlevel sites and sometimes odd hook up placements so bring extensions, but otherwise a great time. But 5 stars for the peace and quiet, lots of room, and staff. Would recommend and will go again.
  788. ★★★★★ Great campground and staff is very attentive!! The bathrooms and shower houses are immaculate!! Will definitely stay here again!!
  789. ★★★★★ Awesome camping spot. Great grounds keepers(The Camp Hostess and workampers) Super helpful, nice and very crafty. Cya soon to pick up the walking sticks
  790. ★★★★★ Great spot to enjoy the outdoors away from the crowds. The yurt was comfy, roomy enough for four adults plus a 10yr old. Lots of hiking available nearby, couple of swimming holes, and awesome landscape to explore. Bath house was clean and well maintained. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.
  791. ★★★★★ We had a great weekend here in the camper! It was our first time taking it out on a trip. The wonderful hosts there took great care of us, going above and beyond. Not only did they let us borrow a hose, but they gave us hiking destination advice, brought by firewood, and even gave our son a little gift. They’re just straight up good, caring folks. Our site was clean and the perfect size. We loved the swivel cooktop attached to the fire pit. We didn’t need to use our grill at all. We also enjoyed walking around the property with the kids and made a stop at the activity center where my husband and son played a game of chess. Before we left, we let our son pick out a crack your own geode from the store, which he loved! We can’t wait to come back to stay and see how the campground is progressing! Thanks so much!!!
  792. ★★★★★ Excellent staff and amenities
  793. ★★★★★ (no Review)
  794. ★★★★★ My first experience staying in a yurt was fantastic! I can’t wait to go back and stay there again. Everything worked out perfectly and the bathrooms were very clean and very easy to get into with the code provided. Beautiful place 10/10
  795. ★★★★★ Great facility and exceptional assistance and friendliness of The Camp Hostess the staff. Looking forward to another trip to your facility again soon!
  796. ★★★★★ Everything about our stay was great! Our campsite was clean, the electrical and water hook ups were all new, picnic table and adjustable cooking grill over the fire pit. We had rain almost daily, even with a downpour the campsite drainage was quick and we did not end up with any standing water. The bath house was very clean, and air conditioned. We were there almost a week ober the 4th of July and enjoyed our stay. Greeter falls and hiking trails are withing walking distance. The camp staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
  797. ★★★★★ Great experience at Greeter Falls Campground. The RV full hookup sites are roomy, well equipped, and are so shady! Although we have a full bathroom in our travel trailer, we checked out the bathhouse. It is clean, smells good, and is roomy. We plan to return soon! Very nice.
  798. ★★★★★ Great place for a beautiful hike along the creek and waterfalls
  799. ★★★★★ Beautiful falls. A little low due to lack of rain. Lots of steps. Loved the spiral staircase. Good for backpackers
  800. ★★★★★ The campground I’m staying at this weekend, @greeterfalls, just put together one of the best small fireworks shows I’ve seen. What a fun #4thofjuly eve! Also, if you find yourself near Savage Gulch/Altamont/ Beersheba Springs/ Grundy County, check these folks out. The grounds are lovely and the folks running it are fantastic.
  801. ★★★★★ Very nice place, super clean spacious The Camp Hostess was very helpful and accommodating WiFi works great Love this place will definitely go back
  802. ★★★★★ Campground was very spacious. And fairly easy to navigate.
  803. ★★★★★ We can’t get over great this place is!!! They aren’t lacking anything; everything you need is here and all in great condition. With intentions to go to camping in Chattanooga spontaneously, this was one of the only places available so we decided to stupid here. The Camp Hostess and employees are awesome and so friendly. Camping sites are great with fire pits and grill shelves. Bathhouse is clean and good condition (could be a bit bigger for the number of sites they have). Shared port-a-potties, water, and outlet area at each site. Each camp site is nicely spaced from others, too. Plus affordable and near awesome trails. Come here!!
  804. ★★★★★ We had a wonderful time! Loved the seclusion and quiet location as well as the ease access to some great hiking!!! Bath houses were clean and everyone we met was very personable. All that said, the experience was great. We will be back
  805. ★★★★★ Great area to camp. Big enough space to set up a couple medium sized tents or one large sized tent. Plenty of trees for hammocks. PLEASE pack out your trash when visiting Greeter Falls. We witnessed a lot of people leaving alcohol cans and food trash at the basin. We picked up as much as we could. Also, make sure your fire is COLD TO THE TOUCH. Our neighboring campers left their site with their fire ring still smoking.
  806. ★★★★★ Our stay at Greeter Falls campground was lovely! We stayed in the primitive camping area and had a great shady and spacious spot. Felt secluded yet also wasn’t too far from restrooms/water. The host was kind enough to let us check in early which we appreciated. My group and I drove about 25 minutes to do the Savage Falls Loop hike which I recommend as well! Overall it was a great trip and I would go again!
  807. ★★★★★ We Love it here!
  808. ★★★★ (No Review)
  809. ★★★★★ We had a great time tent camping at Greeter Falls Campground!
  810. ★★★★★ Super nice place and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return for some camping again.
  811. ★★★★★ THANK YOU!
  812. ★★★★★ Great place and great staff! Campground is spaced out well and most sites have a good amount of privacy. String and staff had plenty of activities for kids. Duck derby and scavenger hunt made for a great experience while at camp. Greeter falls trail head is around .5 miles from camp. I stayed in spot 82 and was great for out large dog . Staff is super kid friendly. Staff answered every phone call and delivered on every request. All sites are shaded with tall trees.
  813. ★★★★★ Beautiful & clean camping spots, super peaceful out here. Hammock camping under the stars at one of the primitive sites was awesome fun.
  814. ★★★★★ Great experience. The Camp Hostess & staff are awesome hosts. We stayed in our 20ft travel trailer & had plenty of space. Will definitely be returning.
  815. ★★★★★ An unexpected treat. Great location and ideal place. The setup at the campground is great and the facility is great. Easy booking and easy access. The wife and I were very pleased and she is a karen.
  816. ★★★★★ We had the BEST time camping at Greeter Falls! We decided on the yurt package and did NOT regret it. Everything was setup and ready to go when we arrived at camp, all we had to do was put our stuff in the yurt! The owners and staff are fantastic. Anything at all you need and they’re right there to help. The waterfalls are breathtaking and only a mild hike away. We will definitely be back to camp here again!
  817. ★★★★★ LOVED IT! I loved this little campground! So perfect for primitive camping. We did have to walk in to out site just a bit which I do wish I would have known before we brought all our regular camping gear. But we made it work. The sites are perfectly spaced apart. The people are so nice and helpful. The bath houses very clean and you have to have the code to get in which makes me feel safe. We will def be back! Loved the campground and all the beautiful trail around it! Thank you guys!
  818. ★★★★★ Amazing Camp & Amazing Hosts! Robert provided the most amazing camp experience. The Camp Hostess really made our experience stand out – they delivered our firewood to our site and were quite kind to meet us as we were a bit later than expected on our arrival time. On that note, we arrived after dark and I must say their signage was super easy to see and helpful to guide us right to our site! I know we will be returning here since it’s just a two hour drive from Nashville. I can only speak for the primitive tent sites, we had site 11, and I loved the fact we felt we were way out from all the other campers.
  819. ★★★★★ Great weekend away! Had primitive site 12. Great flat space for tent. Loved the provided fire ring grill. Very cozy spot with lots of privacy from other campers. Super dog friendly! Loved the dog park and that the hiking is so close. Will definitely be back!
  820. ★★★★★ We had a perfect weekend in one of the yurts on the campground. Good distance between sites so felt very private even when we did have neighbors. Picnic table and fire ring just a few steps away from yurt. The bath house with showers and toilets was impeccably clean. Greeter Falls trail was just a few minutes drive away from our campsite. Highly recommend!!
  821. ★★★★★ I had the best stay!! I stayed solo and felt so safe. The hosts were beyond kind and made sure everything was perfect for my stay. The yurt was spacious and comfortable and the campsite was easy to find. Bathrooms close by and trails practically on site!
  822. ★★★★★ Beautiful, quiet park and the operators are super nice and helpful. The community center is cute and the bathrooms are very clean and newly remodeled
  823. ★★★★★ My best friend and our families camped at the group compound and had a blast. There are 4 very large barrack style tents, each with lights as well as a fan and real beds. They can arrange these anyway you like. We even had bedside tables. The tents face each other, two by two with a fire ring and 2 picnic tables on each side of the fire ring. Edison lights are strung above for perfect lighting in the evening. This main camp is also connected to several smaller ones, each with their own fire rings. You can really have a pretty large group here. It felt very secluded with woods all around. There were no other campers near us. Two Porta potties were available close by and it was a short walk to the camp store which came in handy for ice and firewood. Right down the road is the trailhead to Greeter Falls, The Blue Hole and other trails. We had a total of 7 children with us and they all had a blast. Not once did we hear the words “I’m bored.” It was truly an amazing experience and we made lots of memories. I highly recommend this place!
  824. ★★★★★ Writing this review while still at the campground for Memorial Day. We are here for 9 days. The Camp Hostess that runs the place is amazing. Always trying to help everybody with anything they can. Great hospitality. Nothing like camping in a heavily wooded area. Such a nice change from the places that pack them in like sardines. Having a great time.
  825. ★★★★★ Great experience with the spacious & wooden sites perfect for our 23’ TT. The staff was knowledgeable about the area, friendly and helpful. Nice, family friendly activity hut and clean bathhouse too. Looking forward to our next trip at Greeter Falls Campground. Thanks for a great get-away!
  826. ★★★★★ Beautiful forest campground. Many types of sites. Friendly and helpful hosts. Trailheads nearby
  827. ★★★★★ Amazing campsite! Bug spray is a must, they have amazing bathrooms there at the ground. This is a great place for someone to have a first solo camping trip! Loved it here!!!
  828. ★★★★★ Absolutely loved this campground! The kiddos enjoyed as well and even made a teepee. (The Camp Hostess) is so nice and welcoming. She even texted us and asked if we needed anything before the store closed. So, so friendly. Loved the quiet, “primitive” style. Right down the road from the trailhead to Greeter falls, you could walk there. The falls are sooo beautiful. We will definitely be going back.
  829. ★★★★★ We are here on our Honeymoon. It was a last minute lets roll the dice and see where God leads us. It was late And we called at 9:30pm to see if we could book a reservation and pay with cash. It was a 2 hour drive from where we got married. Got here close to midnight and they had a yurt ready for us. They where more than happy to accommodate us! The Yurt was so nice had 2 foam pads for us to sleep on with sleeping bags. A lantern and charger for the lantern. And a fan. And chairs to sit on. Fire pit, picnic table.electricity and wifi. Its so peaceful here. Nice bath houses. Beautiful Property. It is newly built . Just a short distance to Greeter Waterfall.. A Real 💎 for rvs, tents, or glamping in a yurt. They have a small store on sight. Offer ice for 3$ a bag and small wood bundles for the fire pit for 5$ and they will deliver to your site! How cool is that! Im sold on this place. Definitely coming back.
  830. ★★★★★ Wooded private campground and glamping. Newer private campground that is very convenient to the Greeter Falls entrance of the Savage Gulf State Natural Area. Unique layout with different sections on both sides of a public (but low traffic) road. We were in the primitive single/couples tent area but had access to the bathhouse with flush toilets and hot showers. This is a wooded campground with some space between sites not just a field full of RVs. The RV or glamping sites seemed to all have picnic tables and fire rings while the tent sites had fire rings with cooking grates. The single tent sites were small but our site was large enough for a 3-4 person tent. Some of the RV sites also looked sloped to me, so you may need some extra effort at leveling with an RV as well. The yurts were setup on flat platforms so those are probably fine. Hosts are not intrusive but very friendly and hospitable. Wifi was available in the RV section by the bathhouse and they had firewood and ice available for purchase. The yurts and group tents looked neat from the outside although we had our own tent.
  831. ★★★★★ Greeter Falls Campground is conveniently tucked in beside one of Middle Tennessee’s best water falls and swimming holes, Greeter Falls. I do in fact enjoy chasing waterfalls around TN, and I’ll never not think of TLC when I say that. GFC is unique because it has a built out campground at a hikes distance from the Falls. The variety of camping options at this property ranges from primitive camping, yurts (by request), large military tents to host large groups, and RV hook-ups. I’d say it has a little bit of every level camper from the novice camper, glamper, RV-er, and the stopping-through-need-to-crash-in-the-woods-enthusiast. The folks who run this campground have truly put their hearts on their sleeves and hands in the dirt. It is an open environment to all walks of life. If you’re looking to try camping for the first time, visiting the South Cumberland State Park, or going for a dip in the pool at Greeter Falls, you should definitely consider staying over at the Greeter Falls Campground for a close and enjoyable experience.
  832. ★★★★★ We stayed at Greeter Falls Campground a couple of weekends ago and have nothing but wonderful things to say! The Camp Hostess and her their sweet dog were a wonderful welcoming committee and so helpful and knowledgeable about the area and also getting our RV set up (we are rookie RVers!).
  833. ★★★★★ Simply Beautiful!! Clean quiet and wide open. Beauty at its best.!
  834. ★★★★★ Awesome place we loved it! The owners are kind and super helpful.
  835. ★★★★★ I’ve been to Greeter Falls many times in the last 25 years. Greeter Falls Campground is a grand addition to the area. It is a gorgeous part of Tennessee with Savage Gulf nearby. Lots of hiking, several beautiful water falls. The staff ,The Camp Hostess, the camp overseer are great. You will not go wrong
  836. ★★★★★ Awesome stay The Camp Hostess was very so accommodating and nice they hospitality was a cut above any campsite we ever stayed at over the years. Had a nice electric spot for our tent looks like there putting a lot of money and hard work in this place glad we were able to enjoy it before everyone knows about it. Did the Greeter falls trail fist day sense it was only a minute away it was pretty freaking cool! Day 2 we drove about 15 min to Stone Door trailhead omg so intence up on the mountain rocks now back at campsite again awesome stay!
  837. ★★★★ (8 out of 10) Liked: Excellent staff and amenities Disliked: Small tent sites. Would recommend to friends
  838. ★★★★★ My kids loved camping here, the yurts are very comfortable and the scenery is beautiful! Nice hike to waterfalls
  839. ★★★★★ We enjoyed being able to camp and still have the basic necessities since this was an entirely new experience for all of us! Staff was excellent in getting us checking in and even gave helpful tips to get to the falls sites! We even made plans to come again the following week! We can’t wait!
  840. ★★★★★ What a great campground for our little family! Quiet, close to fun trailheads, and the kindest camp managers! Such a nice spot in the woods for the kids to explore. We will be back!
  841. We reserved two of the military styles yurt sites and had a terrible experience. The power went out several times (we were using 1 small griddle to make breakfast and that caused the power to go out) and then we woke up to the power out in the entire campground.
  842. ★★★★★ Awesome place! Such a peaceful place and you cannot beat the convenience to Greeter Falls. The owners and staff are the nicest people and whether you have an RV, rent a yurt or campground, you will not regret it! Will return.
  843. ★★★★★ Primitive and private.
  844. ★★★★★ This new campground has been merged with our Greeter Pines subdivision….we are moving here from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to be near our family….the owner and his campground managers have went above and beyond to accommodate our need for privacy….make this place a must for your accommodations while visiting this awesome area in Southern Tennessee… Must see…..Greeter Falls and the Blue Hole….you won’t be disappointed...What’s your camping style? Rustic, yurt, or rv….. Y’all come back now, ya hear?
  845. ★★★ We only checked out the primitive sites while passing through the area. The sites had picnic tables and fire rings, but they were pretty overgrown. It doesn’t look like this section of the campground is getting much use yet. They have a couple of portable toilets on site with garbage cans next to the toilets. There is a water spigot at the exit that can be used for filling tanks/containers. Also, there is a community fire pit area near the exit and a small camp store building near the entrance. We did not drive they the yurts or RV sites, so I cannot speak for those, but the pictures on the website look nice. It is new and still an ongoing work in progress.
  846. ★★★★★ If you are a nature lover and yearn to explore the outdoors after a long stressful week, consider a visit to the beautiful mountains of South Eastern Tennessee. A stones throw away from the most spectacular waterfalls in the state, is a little know jewel known as Greeter Falls Campground. The campground has been meticulously designed with every camping inclination in mind. Whether you are an RV-er, a yurt with a cot, or I just want to pitch a tent kind of person, this oasis caters to all. There is nothing so accommodating within half a mile of Greeter Falls and the 16 thousand acre Savage Gulf State natural area. So perfectly situated and organized to meet the desires of any length of stay. You will not regret the atmosphere, the extras or the experience. My week long stay gave me hours of opportunity to explore over 50 miles of trails, photograph spectacular wildlife but even more often just sit in the quietness of the sounds of nature. Make it a part of your yearly getaway!
  847. ★★★★★ This campground is beautiful – and in an absolute perfect location for enjoying Greeter Falls, or Savage Gulf. It offers diversity of options being yurts, tent camping, and RVs – really great for any type of experience. I hosted a women’s event at the yurts and it was a magical time for everyone – perfect experience! They also have a lovely camp store, and this place has a wonderful community atmosphere. I met the campground owner – and he is a wonderful man with a heart to bless people with accessibility to nature. Highly recommend!!!!
